The golden girls decided to grab a burger tonight at this location and we loved it! The staff was amazing and greeted us outside as well as inside when we came up to place our order. Great setting and service. We sat and ate and we enjoyed our yummy meals. This was after work so we were hungry too lol I had the butter burger with cheese and fries. I got a black and white milkshake (chocolate and vanilla) and it was delicious! I was looking for a Neapolitan shake but it was no strawberry shakes lol mine was good though! We are going to have dinner at this Culver's once a month! read more

I came here and someone didn't wash their hands and that's all I will say. Never again. The service was okay. Nothing to write a yelp about. I should've known when our Icecream was melted when it arrived to us shortly after we ordered, but I assumed it was because it was a "hot" day. Like I said, NEVER again. read more

I do not know who the manager is but it is clear that high levels of expectations and standards have been set around customer service. This young staff was professional, friendly and courteous even wishing me a great evening. This is so refreshing and with the exception of Chik Filet and Starbucks is not found easily in Matteson establishments. I thank the management as well as the entire Culvers Team read more

Horrible! Freaking Horrible. They chop the meat to the point the sandwich loses its true consistency of a real Philly Cheese. I ordered this trash by mistake on DoorDash ( thinking it was babys) and after two bites I knew I f-ed up!! I'm going to sleep without dinner tonight and their stuff is going in the trash. Advice STOP CHOPPING THE SANDWICH UP INTO MUSH. Ant then the bread isn't even right to hold that chopped up trash to even make it close to right. $25.00 bucks in the trash. read more

First time here. I spend a lot of money at Culver's in Wisconsin & Illinois. Mainly work related. Buying lunch for customers & ice cream for their workers. A lot of money. I hope Culver's senior & I senior management come here. Profanity at the counter, ketchup dispensers empty & filthy. Ice cream freezer empty. Men's bathroom an embarrassment to Culver's. Trash overflowing. On top of that the order was off...way off & the young tried to short me my change. Not by a little but by a lot. The Culver's In Bourbonnais & Homewood are superb. This Culver's is busy but not good. It is a shadow of what even a normal Culver's is. read more

I don't know what exactly this Culver's location does with the chicken in the Cranberry Bacon Bleu salad that's different from what every other Culver's location does, but, wow is it GOOD. It's slightly spicy (although I have no idea what the spices might be), where the salad at every other Culver's is kind of bland. Everyone was pleasant, my salad came up quickly enough, and the dining area was very clean. I don't know when I'll be back in the area, but when I am, this Culver's will be my stop for lunch. Thanks! read more

**DO NOT COME HERE** The food was completely disgusting and the management is garbage. The owner Dawn, decides to make up her own rules and decided that I was supposed to keep my food that was disgusting so I could bring it back and show them how bad it was in the middle of a blizzard. read more

Poor management team at this location. I ordered 2 beef patties & chicken fingers. They forgot to give me the burger patties. The person who said she was a manager told me I didn't pay for them. I showed my receipt. Then she told me to open my bag to let her see, because folks be lying. By now , I'm pissed. What a way to treat a customer. So I called her out of her name. Asked for a manager. She told me she was a manager and she was come out to my car and beat my ass if I call her out her name again. The owner came to the window knowing I didn't have what I paid for she call me a bitch and told me to get out of her drive through. I called for their names. She told me she was the owner and there's nothing I could do because she is the owner. I called & wrote headquarters to let them know who was representing them. I'm going to the head of the company because I didn't get the customer service from them. Just plain ghetto treatment. Like this is how they run their business. They won't last long that way. Just give me my food and shut up. read more

Came here for lunch with my son today and was treated exceptionally well while ordering and after ordering my meal. The young lady was very attentive and I will definitely be patronizing this particular Culver's again even though it is not close to my home just to give them my business. Thank You read more

Great first visit at this location! This Culver's definitely have safety measures for COVID. Staff and customers must have face mask while inside. They have 6ft marks setup for social distancing. You are asked to wait outside until your order is finished and staff will bring you your food to your car. Staff was helpful and friendly! This location has an outside area for customers to sit and eat their meal. I appreciate the cleanliness in their inside dining area, outside area, and bathroom! Food was very good and fresh and the minis definitely satisfied our sweet tooth. I recommend this location and will definitely support this Culver's! read more

I have frequented this location since it opened. Within my last 3 visits the food was of EXTREME POOR QUALITY. The burgers were thin, dry, and cold. The burgers definitely did not represent the Culver's brand that I've supported for many years. Further, our order was about $43, which is not cheap for a drive-thru burger restaurant order. I tried calling the Matteson location as soon as I opened my food around 3pm on 12/20/20, in order to alert them of the poor food quality. The phone was busy during the entire hour that I tried calling (from 3pm-4pm). I was finally able to reach a manager around 7pm. The manager told me that there was nothing she could do unless I BROUGHT THE FOOD BACK TO THE RESTAURANT. As a reminder, the food was purchased at 3pm, so have discarded the food at this point (it's now 7pm). I told the manager that I had pictures. She said I should have kept the poor quality food in order that I could show the restaurant in person. I then asked the manager, "So in order to rectify this situation, do you suggest I get my food out of the garbage can and bring it back to the restaurant?" Her reply was,"YES". I am completely appalled by this suggestion. To ask a customer to retrieve food from a garage can to fix a customer service issue is unsanitary and in my opinion, completely crazy. Further, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic does it make sense to ask a customer to bring partially eaten food back into a restaurant? By the end of our conversation, I was told that this was their policy, and the best they could do is give me a Culver's Sundae coupon. In short, I'm terribly disappointed, especially as I've supported this specific location for many years. I will not go back to this location as I see they do not handle food according to Health Department guidelines, nor do they deem it important to their poor food quality issues. I hope this issue is fixed as this is a very poor representation of the Culver's brand. read more

I have lived in the neighborhood for close to 10 years now. Culver's in Matteson has always been on point. My food is always fresh and the staff is always so nice. Terrible service and rude employees. Waited 30 Minutes, there was total confusion in the drive through and ultimately received a completely wrong order. Never again. read more

Awful service waited 45 minutes for my food and there's only five people in here and they didn't even get to order right

When the first cane to Mattteson the experience was great. They have really fallen. It was pathetic, the burger meat was so paper thin, the bun was cold when I picked it up it fell apart, the inside ingredients fell out while I was taking a bite. My husband ordered a spicy chicken sandwich which was dry and the fries were greasy and cold. I think they had the burger and chicken patty in a warmer. Worse meal for a Sunday lunch. I would like to give them 1 star, but the restaurant was spotless only because no one on there eating and wasting their money. read more

So after waiting a significant amount of time for my food, I went to the counter and it turns out they "forgot" about my order. They were too busy making sure their friends got their food. Then the employee pictured gets a nasty attitude with us. (I should be the one with the attitude!!!) I then asked her about her mask since she was around food and she told me her mother was the owner. Maybe she should leave that out next time. What a horrible way to represent a black business owner! Ignorance and no regard for safety at a time when people are DYING from covid. Mom....check your daughter!!! read more

Wouldn't recommend. I gave this location three chances and all was a negative experience. The last straw for me, I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich and in the center, it wasn't cooked! Grossed me out completely. Such a disappointment. read more

I usually don't post bad reviews but this one is no exception because the workers were very rude, got an attitude when I asked them about it. I've never had any issues with this place until now. I feel like that if you don't like your job then to just leave and let someone who knows how to deal with customers and all of that starts with management who needs to take accountability. I decided to give them another chance after the last incident in which management tried to make right by offering me a 2 scoop ice cream coupon. What a slap in the face!!! Please do better if you want to stay open read more

THE BEST CULVERS IN THE LAND! Customer service is A1 at this location. The food is fast, fresh, and served with a smile. I've also witnessed the owner working alongside her staff to ensure proper service. She is also AMAZING! Everything at this location is always superb. read more

I must say I don't frequent Culvers too much. I've been to 3 locations total. Here. Tinley Park, and Highland, IN. The reason I come here is because my mom lives over here and this is her to go place for lunch. I've been here maybe a handful of times, different days, different times of the day, and I can't comment on the drive thru because we have always eaten in, or I've gone in to place my order. This is BY FAR the nicest... the friendliest... group of employees I've ever seen! Matter of fact.. not just the nicest at any Culver's. At ANY fast food establishment period!!! They've always been very welcoming, not acting like you're bothering them while being on their phones. They're there to work and that's what they do. Maybe the Matteson employees AND management can go over to Highland, IN on Ridge Road and train their employees in customer service, because they SUCK! The employees AND the management!! I complained and the management basically did nothing, and that's ok, because myself or anyone I know doesn't need to go to the Highland location! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK MATTESON!!!! read more

This place is unbelievable. I waited 20 minutes in a drive thru parking spot for my order. I watched 6 cars that arrived after me, receive their food before me. After 20 minutes of waiting, I called the restaurant and was advised the food would be out soon. When the food arrived, I was given a card for a free scoop of custard for the inconvenience. Downright laughable. I will not eat at this restaurant again. read more

Went in to have lunch on the patio. Understanding Covid is happening. However when I asked for a high chair I was first told they will bring it out. After waiting I sent someone in to check what the hold up was. That was when I was told by the cashier that it wasn't allowed to be used. Other workers continued to ask why I couldn't get a high chair. I have an w10 month old and would've liked to allow her and myself to eat while our food was warm. Who honestly wants to dine out holding their baby. Called another location and asked their policy on high chair usage. They said it's allowed. What is the difference on washing down tables vs high chairs. I asked for a refund and left. read more

This is a place that never misses a beat. Friendly customer service and great tasting food! I have been 3-4 times this month already and the food is always good. I like Culver's but I never really eat here. Last time I ordered from them I got a grilled chicken sandwich & that was like $6.00, it was a waste because it was so plain just the chicken, lettuce & tomato's. They didn't even put Mayo in the bag. But their burgers are really good & juicy. read more

My family frequents this location of Culver's. The team members provide consistently good service, and the food is so yummy. My son has food allergies and we have never had an issue eating here. It is always clean and The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I wish it was updated and renovated like the nearby one in Tinley Park. These burgers are tasteless and overpriced. Gave it another try the other day. I will never get another burger from there. I do like their onion rings, ice lemon cooler and tenders. But, the lemon cooler is only available seasonally. I did get a turtle Sunday. It was pretty good considering I'm not a big chocolate fan. So, avoid the burgers. Heard the pot roast sandwhich is good. Don't think I'll deviate from the chicken again though. I'd rather have a portillos burger. read more
