The golden girls decided to grab a burger tonight at this location and we loved it! The staff was amazing and greeted us outside as well as inside when we came up to place our order. Great setting and service. We sat and ate and we enjoyed our yummy meals. This was after work so we were hungry too lol I had the butter burger with cheese and fries. I got a black and white milkshake (chocolate and vanilla) and it was delicious! I was looking for a Neapolitan shake but it was no strawberry shakes lol mine was good though! Horrible! Freaking Horrible. They chop the meat to the point the sandwich loses its true consistency of a real Philly Cheese. I ordered this trash by mistake on DoorDash ( thinking it was babys) and after two bites I knew I f-ed up!! I'm going to sleep without dinner tonight and their stuff is going in the trash. I hope Culver's senior & I senior management come here. Profanity at the counter, ketchup dispensers empty & filthy. Ice cream freezer empty. Men's bathroom an embarrassment to Culver's. Trash overflowing. On top of that the order was off...way off & the young tried to short me my change. Not by a little but by a lot. The Culver's In Bourbonnais & Homewood are superb. I don't know what exactly this Culver's location does with the chicken in the Cranberry Bacon Bleu salad that's different from what every other Culver's location does, but, wow is it GOOD. It's slightly spicy (although I have no idea what the spices might be), where the salad at every other Culver's is kind of bland. Everyone was pleasant, my salad came up quickly enough, and the dining area was very clean. I don't know when I'll be back in the area, but when I am, this Culver's will be my stop for lunch. Poor management team at this location. I ordered 2 beef patties & chicken fingers. They forgot to give me the burger patties. The person who said she was a manager told me I didn't pay for them. Great first visit at this location! This Culver's definitely have safety measures for COVID. Staff and customers must have face mask while inside. They have 6ft marks setup for social distancing. You are asked to wait outside until your order is finished and staff will bring you your food to your car. Staff was helpful and friendly! This location has an outside area for customers to sit and eat their meal. I appreciate the cleanliness in their inside dining area, outside area, and bathroom! Food was very good and fresh and the minis definitely satisfied our sweet tooth. I recommend this location and will definitely support this Culver's! read more

I have frequented this location since it opened. Within my last 3 visits the food was of EXTREME POOR QUALITY. The burgers were thin, dry, and cold. The burgers definitely did not represent the Culver's brand that I've supported for many years. Further, our order was about $43, which is not cheap for a drive-thru burger restaurant order. I tried calling the Matteson location as soon as I opened my food around 3pm on 12/20/20, in order to alert them of the poor food quality. The phone was busy during the entire hour that I tried calling (from 3pm-4pm). I was finally able to reach a manager around 7pm. The manager told me that there was nothing she could do unless I BROUGHT THE FOOD BACK TO THE RESTAURANT. As a reminder, the food was purchased at 3pm, so have discarded the food at this point (it's now 7pm). I told the manager that I had pictures. She said I should have kept the poor quality food in order that I could show the restaurant in person. I then asked the manager, "So in order to rectify this situation, do you suggest I get my food out of the garbage can and bring it back to the restaurant?" Her reply was,"YES". I am completely appalled by this suggestion. To ask a customer to retrieve food from a garage can to fix a customer service issue is unsanitary and in my opinion, completely crazy. Further, in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic does it make sense to ask a customer to bring partially eaten food back into a restaurant? By the end of our conversation, I was told that this was their policy, and the best they could do is give me a Culver's Sundae coupon. In short, I'm terribly disappointed, especially as I've supported this specific location for many years. I will not go back to this location as I see they do not handle food according to Health Department guidelines, nor do they deem it important to their poor food quality issues. I hope this issue is fixed as this is a very poor representation of the Culver's brand. read more

When the first cane to Mattteson the experience was great. They have really fallen. It was pathetic, the burger meat was so paper thin, the bun was cold when I picked it up it fell apart, the inside ingredients fell out while I was taking a bite. My husband ordered a spicy chicken sandwich which was dry and the fries were greasy and cold. I think they had the burger and chicken patty in a warmer. Worse meal for a Sunday lunch. So after waiting a significant amount of time for my food, I went to the counter and it turns out they "forgot" about my order. They were too busy making sure their friends got their food. Then the employee pictured gets a nasty attitude with us. (I should be the one with the attitude!!!) I feel like that if you don't like your job then to just leave and let someone who knows how to deal with customers and all of that starts with management who needs to take accountability. I must say I don't frequent Culvers too much. I've been to 3 locations total. Here. Tinley Park, and Highland, IN. The reason I come here is because my mom lives over here and this is her to go place for lunch. I've been here maybe a handful of times, different days, different times of the day, and I can't comment on the drive thru because we have always eaten in, or I've gone in to place my order. This is BY FAR the nicest... the friendliest... group of employees I've ever seen! Matter of fact.. not just the nicest at any Culver's. At ANY fast food establishment period!!! They've always been very welcoming, not acting like you're bothering them while being on their phones. They're there to work and that's what they do. Maybe the Matteson employees AND management can go over to Highland, IN on Ridge Road and train their employees in customer service, because they SUCK! The employees AND the management!! Went in to have lunch on the patio. Understanding Covid is happening. However when I asked for a high chair I was first told they will bring it out. After waiting I sent someone in to check what the hold up was. That was when I was told by the cashier that it wasn't allowed to be used. Other workers continued to ask why I couldn't get a high chair. I have an w10 month old and would've liked to allow her and myself to eat while our food was warm. These burgers are tasteless and overpriced. Gave it another try the other day. I will never get another burger from there. I do like their onion rings, ice lemon cooler and tenders. But, the lemon cooler is only available seasonally. I did get a turtle Sunday. It was pretty good considering I'm not a big chocolate fan. So, avoid the burgers. I tried Culver's butterburger several years ago in Wisconsin but to tell you the truth, I didn't remember how it was. Decided after seeing a review on Yelp about their Cod Filet sandwich that I would try it out at this location. Was appreciative that there was a drive-thru available. Placed my order and a number was put on my car. I pulled up and waited. I was shocked to see an employee several minutes later literally RUNNING out of the store to give me my order. Never have I seen anything like that - I actually felt IMPORTANT :) She was extremely friendly too. The beer battered cod filet sandwich was delicious! I parked and went inside to get a container of tartar sauce because the top bun had none on it so I will know next time to ask for a side of their delicious sauce.
