I went to this location for first time. Easy ordering, many toppings available. I requested frys crunchy. Seating and famous peanuts available. I wish the peanuts were unsalted. read more

Five Guys - Cheeseburger, Bacon Burger, 2 Regular Fries - Burgers Near Me - Matteson, Illinois

The burger was great however the cook had his pants sagging exposing his gray underwear. Not very appetizing.

Five Guys was absolutely amazing! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with grilled mushrooms and jalapeños. The burger was perfect and seasoned fries were hot and fresh. My cashier was nice and very helpful. I highly recommend trying out thiss location read more

This company went downhill Their hamburger cost as much as a New York strip, and it was worth eating was there yesterday the quality went downhill the price is still the same no thank you I'd rather go to Burger King read more

Five guys is a go-to for me because of their celiac fries. That is all I ever get. After a surprisingly small burger somewhere else, I was so happy to find a close-enough five guys. Here they are! Crispy and tasty and fresh -- the fries! Service here was fine. The fries have gone up to almost 8 bucks but are still magnificent. read more

Hard to beat a five guys burger and fries. Definitely good. Customer service was average...not great not bad, but food was good.

OK Five Guys, come on Now, you get an "F" today for not providing the two "F's" we expected "Fresh & Fast." We Ordered on-line a Bacon Cheese Burger and Fries, when I got there to pick-up it was just in time to witness the fry cook putting "Burnt Fries" that were sitting under a warmer into the bag. My Brain screamed "Ummmmm, no mam Pam," I'll pass on the Burnt Buds, and wait for a new batch. When I called her on the fries, her demeanor took a nose dive and I immediately became thankful for the openess of the cook space so I could see her contemplate giving me the remaining Burnt fries she shovel through looking for "Less Charred" fries, the burger was fine no problem there. I'm hoping this is a one off experience, because my Hubby Loves Five Guys. read more

Originally my plan was to order online which I was not able to. Upon entry I found that these prices were quite a bit different from the prices back home. Atlas I thought they better have some magical burgers and fries for $31.76 because I ordered one little cheeseburger with tomato, ketchup, Mayo, and pickles along with one regular fry. What I got was 2 cheeseburgers with Mayo, lettuce, tomato. and a regular fry. He tried to add four to my order. At the end of the day it was just okay. I won't stop here again. read more

The manager was extremely rude. Very bad customer service. Please find another 5 guys. The worst restaurant in Matteson.

We ordered food to be delivered. They messed up our order. They forgot an entire sandwich, they made 2 of the sandwiches incorrectly and we ordered 2 small fries, both of the cups were only 1/2 full. They are small cups and for $5 each we only got a small handful of fries. We tried calling the store quite a few times and no one would answer. read more

I absolutely love hand cut fries and when you add cajun seasoning, well you have kicked it up a notch! The burgers are just average, I have eaten better. On my last visit my order was completely wrong. I understand that mistakes happen. So all is forgiven. I will definitely return for the fries! Cajun of course! read more

Great food but at $25 for a burger with fries and soft drink, I won't be back anytime soon. I'll cook at home with these prices. Superior to McDonald's and Burger King. Just not worth the money read more

Sooooooooo. Sllllllllloooooowwwwww. Watched two dudes working the kitchen and it reminded of me of that scene in Zootopia at the DMV. Hope you're not looking to eat in the next 30 min. Not sure if they got the memo, but it's supposed to be fast food. read more

Dang! Must be a shortage of jalapeño's. I paid for them and dug through this whole burger and found ONE jalapeño slice!! And the bacon looks like it was cooked two days ago! read more

2 stars for not being prepared in the last hour. I wanted a burger from five guys, it was 9:46pm. The woman stated they were closed because they ran out of bread. Thank God for Culver's down the street, a little farther but saved the night and curbed my craving! read more

Was recommended to try Five Guys from a friend. Needless to say I will NOT be returning and will encourage others to try a different locations. Let's start with the customer service, the young lady who took my order was extremely nasty, poor customer service would be an upgrade and to top off injury to insult, the young lady taking my order threw her hands up and stated " I can't deal with this!" Lady I looked I was spending my money. Another young lady walked over and explained the menu and apologized for the confusion. I paid for my order and came home for lunch. Got home and the food was super sloppy, thrown together and over seasoned. If I didn't live so far away I would have taken it back. My husband took two bites and threw it away. This was such a disappointment as I really had high hopes of a great burger. Oh well I'll NEVER visit this establishment again. Waste of Money!!!! read more

typically I give good reviews. I love 5 guys. matteson is out of control. Number 1, they are clean and friendly. Food, I don't know if five guys stop doing this but I ordered small cajun fry. usually that will feed two people. No extra fries plus they gave me like only hand full of fries. For $5.19 i need more then a hand full. I ordered Bacon Cheeseburger. Made it all the way home. had all the topping and all. No patties. $12.89 I need both of my patties. i always tip them. $3 to get screwed. I live 20 minutes away. Not even going to drive back. highly disappointed. Take it as a donation. this made the second time they messed with my order. I will never go back to the Matteson location read more

Food is always good and very consistent. I took away one star because when you order in advance, they don't drop your fries until you get there. So, regardless of your pickup time, be prepared to wait after arrival. read more

The newest Five Guys location in our area does not disappoint. The staff are always super friendly and the food is always great. Fries that are made fresh for each batch of customers is an a-okay practice in my book, plus the addition of "lil fries" makes it a more sensible meal. No matter your burger tastes (as long as you do like burgers) you're bound to like the food at Five Guys. Give this location a try for sure. read more

Went shortly after restaurants closed for dine in. Chose them because the burgers are good and they offered curb-side pickup. Called when I arrived and was told they were too busy and I had to come in. There were 2 people in the store. Waited for them to leave and called again and was told I STILL had to come in. No longer on my shopping list, and Schoop's makes a better burger anyway. read more

Don't use their curbside they are not coming out, food with cole after waiting 20 minutes

My experience was very unprofessional. The store in matteson opens at 11 but do to short staff they open an hour later. My lunch break is only 30min, how is it my fault you don't have competent employees. The costumer should not have to suffer for your unprofessionalism. read more

The burger was great. The meal was on the expensive side. The fries were hot yet overly firm. Did not finish them. They really only need 50 people a day to stay open since the meal cost so much. I don't believe they have literal meal options. Disappointing honestly. read more

Incompetent! The service at the Matteson location has went down tremendously. Poor customer service, incorrect orders, bad attitudes, and complete and total unprofessionalism. I will never patron there again and I encourage others to not waste their time. read more

Came in little before closing. 2 couple a head of me and my friend order. New staff. Reason why I think my burger was so small, put together so unorganized, and tasted like it wasn't fresh. The manger checked on her young female "chefs" "cooks" to see if everything was doing ok...i don't know if I wanted them to test their prep cooks before closing on my burger but ‍. I didn't even get a decent piece of cut lettuce. I say all that to say I loved five guys didn't eat it much but when I did I was always satisfied. So for the SECOND trip to five guys at this location was a fail I think I'm giving up till next year happy holidays ps they got a one because they didn't mess up on the fries.... because we didn't order any read more
