We Ordered on-line a Bacon Cheese Burger and Fries, when I got there to pick-up it was just in time to witness the fry cook putting "Burnt Fries" that were sitting under a warmer into the bag. My Brain screamed "Ummmmm, no mam Pam," I'll pass on the Burnt Buds, and wait for a new batch. When I called her on the fries, her demeanor took a nose dive and I immediately became thankful for the openess of the cook space so I could see her contemplate giving me the remaining Burnt fries she shovel through looking for "Less Charred" fries, the burger was fine no problem there. Atlas I thought they better have some magical burgers and fries for $31.76 because I ordered one little cheeseburger with tomato, ketchup, Mayo, and pickles along with one regular fry. Was recommended to try Five Guys from a friend. Needless to say I will NOT be returning and will encourage others to try a different locations. Let's start with the customer service, the young lady who took my order was extremely nasty, poor customer service would be an upgrade and to top off injury to insult, the young lady taking my order threw her hands up and stated " I can't deal with this!" Lady I looked I was spending my money. Another young lady walked over and explained the menu and apologized for the confusion. I paid for my order and came home for lunch. Got home and the food was super sloppy, thrown together and over seasoned. If I didn't live so far away I would have taken it back. My husband took two bites and threw it away. This was such a disappointment as I really had high hopes of a great burger. Oh well I'll NEVER visit this establishment again. Waste of Money!!!! read more

Food, I don't know if five guys stop doing this but I ordered small cajun fry. usually that will feed two people. No extra fries plus they gave me like only hand full of fries. For $5.19 i need more then a hand full. I ordered Bacon Cheeseburger. Made it all the way home. had all the topping and all. No patties. $12.89 I need both of my patties. i always tip them. $3 to get screwed. I live 20 minutes away. Not even going to drive back. highly disappointed. The newest Five Guys location in our area does not disappoint. The staff are always super friendly and the food is always great. Fries that are made fresh for each batch of customers is an a-okay practice in my book, plus the addition of "lil fries" makes it a more sensible meal. My experience was very unprofessional. The store in matteson opens at 11 but do to short staff they open an hour later. My lunch break is only 30min, how is it my fault you don't have competent employees. The costumer should not have to suffer for your unprofessionalism. read more
