Wow I felt as though I was being punk'd the entire time I was here. Ordered food. On par with sit down restaurant burgers price wise. Food unfortunately is not as good. I asked if I could have ranch for the fries... THEY DONT HAVE RANCH.... like at all. I honestly thought he was messing with me. Vanilla shake is McDonald's quality maybe even lower. Just overall a McDonald's quality food with sit down proper restaurant prices. Worst part was my friend also in the military suggested it having had them in other states. What a reputation to live up to! I must have heard from 10 different people how wonderful Five Guys is. So this one is open up on my side of town, gotta give it a try. So this is like a fancy fast food deal, order at the counter, seat yourself in a plastic booth kinda place. Like other similar place, you get to watch the food being made. For this place, it works because everyone is energetic and having fun! I was surprised at the quality of toppings available. My husband is kinda picky, so he just got the basics. I, however, like everything, so I'm pretty sure that's what I ordered. Somehow, it all worked and I had a great burger. This is my second time having Five Guys. One of my family members hasn't tried it yet, so we decided to come here. I had the Mini Hamburger with Everything (mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, ketchup and mustard). The burger is a pretty good size, even for a mini. I also had the Cajun Fries. I ordered the regular size and they put a lot! They put the fries in a cup and so when they give you your food, they put it all in a bag. But when they put the fries in the bag, I saw them get another scoop of fries and pour it into the bag which came out to be about 3 cups of fries instead of 1 which is awesome! We weren't able to finish it so we took it home. You can also eat some of the peanuts that they have while waiting for your food or take some to go. The service is fine. Same as any other fast food. Note: You can also add Jalapeno peppers, green peppers, A1 steak sauce, bbq sauce, and hot sauce but Everything is the ones listed above. read more

The food is always good and the establishment is always clean. They even came and picked up my garbage for me. Five Guys.... What more do you really have to say here!? They should almost get an automatic 5 star, right?! We went to Five Guys on Friday about 5:30pm, not too packed and we ordered online. Store was clean, staff was friendly, other customers.... giving us the "eye" because we were walking out with our order before them... LOL. The advantages of online ordering!! Do it!! I always enjoy a good burger, this time was exactly that, but I was a little disappointed. As usual, when it came to the grilled jalapenos (Don't these restaurant owners know, fresh is always better!), we were given canned/jar vinegar based jalapenos. Yuck! And they skimped on my mushrooms too!! However, I can't downgrade them too much, still a bad a$$ burger!! Everything else was great and well cooked/seasoned. If you've never been, and you're a not a big eater like myself, stick with the little stuff... Little everything!! If you are new to 5g, be careful. When you order a cheeseburger, you will get what in&out calls a double- double. If you want a cheeseburger, you have to specify that you want a LITTLE BURGER. No where does it say that. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, 1 frys, 2 drinks - $24 Bucks. We ordered them with everything and it was at least 3 inches thick. MESSIEST sandwich ever. When Asked to please put a rush on our burgers we were quickly told that "it is not possible to rush the patty's" I don't know if Five Guys has ever heard of Medium or if they just make sure they cater to The Well Done patrons only. Also the cutlery must be very obscure when dicing onions their onions were literally a whole INCH thick in both directions, I've always had nothing but the best experience at the Five Guys Burgers and Frys especially when They greet you with a welcome shouted across the kitchen. My wife and I have been going here since they opened. Of all the 'fast' burger joints around, these guys consistently delivered when we felt the need for a guilty pleasure every so often. We go about every 3 weeks or so, and when we went the last time we were disappointed. The burgers were very greasy and just fell apart as we tried to eat them. The ingredients were very skimpy, with my wife getting about 2 square inches of lettuce on hers. It was not a good experience and she had to be persuaded to go back again yesterday. "They were probably just having a bad day" I said. Nope. Yesterday was awful. Firstly the girl taking the order was incredibly curt and unfriendly. My wife and I were used to a cheery greeting and chat, but this girl was new and not at all welcoming. I told my wife she was probably having a bad day this time, but when the food came, I realized that the place had got worse. The burgers were again really greasy, falling apart in our hands, and the buns were soggy and unappetising. Even ordering extra lettuce this time, there was almost none in our burgers, and the meat was crumbling and it all was so salty it was quite inedible. The fries, usually so good, were beyond inedible. It seemed someone had left them to soak in the fat, then warmed them quickly. Undercooked and rubbery with grease. Apart from all that, the place itself was filthy, dirt all over the tables and floor, with no one seemingly making any effort to clean up. I spoke with the manager there as we left, I told him I did not want a refund but just that he got the place back to where it was. He was apologetic and said he was trying to turn it around. Odd it should have got so bad so fast, I hope he does what he said, because I like(d) 5 Guys and the next closest is just too far for a quick bite. Burgers will be off our menu until they shake it up to where it was. Thing is, I was very sick after going there last night. I am not sure if it was the food or not, but frankly I am scared to set foot in the place again. The health inspectors should maybe pay a visit. Edit: Almost forgot! I got a shake too yesterday, and previously had no idea a shake could be messed up. This one was. My wife screwed up her face when she tried it, and I threw it away after one sip. The entire staff at this place is amazing!! I must have made a mistake while ordering online and chose the wrong location. When I arrived to pick up my online order they had absolutely no record of it. Again, this was totally my fault. The manager (I believe he said his name was JR) went above and beyond! He recreated our order and did not charge us for the entire meal. He could have just made us drive to the other location, but instead he said not to worry and comped the entire thing. It's people like this that make a franchise feel like a warm local establishment. I cannot say enough about this amazing customer service experience. read more
