Visiting Tucson for a month. I drove by this hot dog stand and thought 'cute, a hot dog stand'. Then later, I asked some local folks where to find a good Mexican restaurant... they list a few, and then say "Dany Hot Dogs." They went on to describe the Sonoran Dog and convince me to give it a try. On a busy street corner, there is Dany and the Hot Dog tent. The guy is nice as can be, the place is spotless and organized and we ordered two to go. We got them home and took a bite - I was immediately disappointed that I didn't order two for myself! The ingredients were fresh, the bun was perfectly toasted and it was absolutely heavenly. At this moment I am still considering going back when my wife is not looking. My husband and I have gone a few times in the evening and sat in their tables, enjoying Sonoran hotdog and sodas. This place is no more than five minutes away from our house and it's really really good. It's reasonably priced and despite traffic on Broadway right by you when you're eating, I've had very positive experiences . Dany Hot Dog offers a covered area with seating available. There's some canvas to prevent wind from blowing on you on one side of the tent covered space. Every time I go, I feel like I get excellent service and excellent Sonoran hotdogs. There's no porta potty in that area for customers, but there is a handwashing area with paper towels, and hand sanitizer available if you need it. We have been going to Dany and his brother Marino for hotdogs since they opened they're hotdog stand around 4 years ago now and they were the only stand there. The quality has always been top tier. They make great hotdogs and they also sell some really tasty agua frescas. My husband has become their friend now and goes at least twice a week for a hotdogs if not more. They have great customer service and they have their area clean. They have some tables as well if you want to sit and enjoy your food there. We are lucky to live in the neighborhood behind where they're parked so we go home but we have sat down and waited for our food and it's always clean. We love this place! Also had the torito, a Güero Chili stuffed with mixed cheese and wrapped in bacon - this definitely hit the bull eyes on being the perfect addition to my meal bursting with flavor and a hint of spiciness that is enough to to enjoy but not burn. The environment is a great setting to just get out of the office and enjoy a nice breeze under a covered area and breakup the traditional scenery of restaurants with an outdoor seating on folding tables and chairs. The hot dogs were flavorful and hit the spot. I also from the Tostidogs (think that's what it was called). Essentially, it was just Tostitos with cut up hot dog, bacon and all the hot dog toppings.
