First time at five guys yesterday , didn't get the pleasant greeting when I walked in . Had to wait to place an order. Only one guy in the front of the store, rest of the employees were in the back. Finally placed my order for a cheeseburger cheeseburg, Cajun fries and a five guys milkshake. Total cost $25.97 that included a 5% tip of $1.24. Yes, they pushed the kiosk around and basically demand a tip for doing nothing. Nothing great the burger wasn't seasoned. The fries were mediocre in the shake. Was nothing to rave about small for the price. I feel that I paid $10 plus over what it should've been. I was warned in advance a few days ago that they were very expensive. My husband and I are frequent flyers at this location and always have a fantastic experience! Food is always fresh, service is always fast, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. We had a special visit today when our cashier, Joshua B, gave us a $10 gift card for a simple mishap on my husband's burger (the grilled onions ordered were swapped for grilled mushrooms). It only came up because he asked us how our food was and my husband make a light hearted joke about it. Normally I really enjoy Five guys and it's good value for the $$. But the last 3 times I ordered from them , the fries were so salty I couldn't even eat. It really sucks when you pay almost $6 for a small fries you can't even eat. it was more of an order of salt w/fries on the side. Here's a suggestion, lighten up on the salt and if people want "extra" salt they can add themselves. So around here in Vegas there is a lot of interest in burgers. I like a burger as much as the next guy and have nostalgic memories of juicy burgers, buns, pickles and fries and shakes. And I run into a LV YouTuber who did a direct comparison of Five Guys and In and Out Burger on YT. He thought Five Guys came out on top because of the weight of the burger and the crispy fries. This was for the burger only (FG has hot dogs and other stuff). Anyway, it sort of got my attention and I could try out Five Guys since I never had them before. My wife got interested in the FG fries, fresh and never frozen. We were both thinking this would be a tasty competition between two of the top burgers around. We figured both would probably be good...but which one was better?? Fail: FG fries were soggy and not crispy. Large quantity but a true disappointment. The Standard burger ($13 ), I chose lettuce, tomato, onion,pickle, cheese, ketchup and mustard...plus grilled onion. Oh no! Bun bottom was so soggy that it was missing in action, meat was huge but had little meat flavor (like grilled or seasoned). The burger depended on all the mentioned items for taste. I hated the incompletely grilled onions. I didn't mind the 'drippy but good' messy experience. My disappointment came as I realized this was not the near-miss perfect burger experience I was imagining. I honestly didn't like it much. For me, 'In and Out" Double Double Cheese Burger wins out. My wife hated the Five Guys burger even more than me. The fries failed due to quality control. They were not freshly made. This is our go-to spot for a lettuce-wrapped keto cheeseburger cheat meal. (All the way.) This spot in particular is always clean, friendly, and still has the peanuts out where I can scoop them. We munched on peanuts while we waited. eat them. i implore you to get the most for this dining experience. Within a short time our food came out. One bag containing our order of 3 cheese burgers and 3 fries. The burgers ordered come numbered which is helpful and all three were correct with toppings. The fries sat on top of everything in the bag; three medium sized cups worth. Our burgers were delicious, the fries warm and just the right amount of salt / seasoning. It saddens me that I have to rate this establishment a one star. My rule is that if I rate an establishment one star - I won't be back. Sadly - that is 100% the case for 5Guys. You see - this trip to 5Guys for 3 burgers and 3 fries cost me 60$. $60!!! For 3 burgers and 3 fries. That blew my mind when I walked in and saw the prices. It was a stark reminder of why we infrequently visited you and firmly set in concrete why we cannot further patronage your business. I hadn't been to Five Guys in quite a while but this last visit deserves an additional star. The employees were very friendly and our food came out pretty quickly for being made to order. The fries were much better, hot and crispy this time. The burger was good, but again they totally smashed the bun down. Why do they keep doing this? Not sure but the flavor was good and had all the toppings requested. I think there's just something about this location that just isn't as good as other Five Guys. Amazing experience with one of the employees! I think she said her name was Karen (dark pixie cut)? My younger sibling and I got some shakes with our food, but they never came out. I went up and asked about it, and she said she'd make it right then, and remembered what we ordered too! Just watching she was working circles around everyone, don't know if she was a manager but if not she definitely did the work for it, also was just very nice and complimented me Update! I left my bag there (cause I have scatterbrain rip), called ahead and they had pulled it and kept it in the back for me, once again were lovely to talk to and very pleasant, wonderful customer service skills (another girl was with first one too that helped me with the bag). Stopped by here for lunch because we were in the area. Inside was very clean and staff were very polite. Not a lot of people were inside so there wasn't a line. We got a Double bacon cheeseburger, a double cheese burger and Cajun fries. Both burgers were huge and tasted fantastic, but so sad that my bun was smashed on both ends. One star for the fact that my girlfriend and I really enjoy Five Guys but I guess we made a mistake coming to this location. We wanted to try this location because it's closer to our house. We were greeted friendly by everybody and what not but the boy who took our order was completely rude to us. He just looked away while he took our whole order, didn't smile or wasn't friendly at all. Like shouldn't you be looking at your guest as they are ordering? He didn't offer us any drinks or even listen to the fact that we wanted Cajun fries or a large drink. He didn't hand us our cup, we had to ask for it and he gave us the wrong cup and I had to ask him for the correct one. He was completely rude to us and honestly it made me upset because the other location we go to , they're always so sweet and very friendly which set our expectations high. I fell in love with Five Guys back when I lived in DC. It is such a DC institution - and I don't think anywhere can ever beat the Georgetown location. So I was nervous walking into this Five Guys. But that nervousness quickly grew to anticipation as we approached the location and began the search for parking. Once finally entering, the anticipation became a desperate hunger. Despite the line being quite long, it moved relatively quickly. It was around 20 minutes from the time we got in the line until the time we received our order. A huge smile came over my face as that paper bag with grease spots coming through was set in front of me. As I unwrapped my burger, I couldn't help but stop and stare. It was a thing of beauty. Awww, Five Guys, we meet again. I took a big bite and relished in child-like joy as juicy goodness started to run down my hands. The two patties, the cheese, the bacon, the crisp lettuce and tomato - so fab! And then I dived into the Cajun fries.
