Great service and I got a hot dog all the way. They are busy a bit dirty and if you need to use the bathroom you need to be a customer and need a code a lot of people where coming in thing they can just go in the bathroom but they have to make a purchase to use it. read more

I love five guys, but sometimes they're a hit or miss. When we walked into this location, there was no one in line, so we were able to place our orders right away. We were joking around with the lady making the burgers and she said she just cleaned her grill, so she was ready for us. We ordered a cheeseburger all the way and a bacon cheeseburger. We were about to order a large order of fries but the lady taking our order told us that it feeds up to 4, so we ended up going with a regular size. It was pretty slow, so the staff was walking around cleaning and moping the floors, which was nice to see that they were keeping the storefront clean. The wait was reasonable, considering that they were making everything fresh. My burger was so good, I'm pretty sure I ate it without putting it down once. The bread was soft and the burger was flavorful. The fries were cooked perfectly and were crispy on the outside while still being soft on the inside. Food was good as always but the outdoor seating is terribly dirty. There were signs posted in plain sight saying "don't feed the pigeons", but that wasn't enforced. I saw multiple people feeding the disease ridden animals that were pooping all over the outdoor eating area. The pigeons would fly inches away from your head. This Five Guys location is one of the reasons the US is the new epicenter of the coronavirus. There was a palpable layer of grease over all of the door handles and tables which made the lack of cleaning evident. It made the restaurant feel like a child's playground. There is a small alley (about a foot wide) between Five Guys and the next building that was full of garbage. Additionally, the cashier didn't have her mask on over her nose and workers complained when they messed up orders. The same gloves were used to touch money and the cash register as were touching and preparing customer's food. After leaving I felt like I needed to take a bath in hand sanitizer. read more

If you are going to offer vegan or vegetarian options, can you make them edible?! Not the case with this location. I ordered the veggie sandwich. The vegetables were not grilled or edible for that matter. They were on the grill for seconds. Try eating a previously boiled mushroom that isn't fried. Ahhh! Thank heavens it's open til 10!! We did a bunch of tastings at the moonshiners and wineries, so time got away from us. Just before closing we were still greeted with a smile and helped cheerfully. We've been to other 5G, and had greasy burgers and fries. Not here. Toppings (except cheese) are provided at no additional charge! This restaurant is smack dab in the tourist mecca of Gatlinburg close to the Convention Center. Expect to pay for parking. I've been a huge Five Guys fan since their debit in Arlington VA on Washington Pike. I've been to them in six states, and always had them at a 5 of 5 over In and Out etc. I was in the one in Gatlinburg at 4 PM today, and while the food was good, my order was wrong. I looked past it, as it was still tasty. Why the bad rating? A gentleman came in on a disabled scooter, probably mid 70s with a tag on back citing DV. He tried to park behind us at a table, but it was against a wall and difficult to navigate. A table came open center floor, and he went over to it. He waited right behind a 5 Guys employee as she cleaned the table. She clearly saw him as she moved around the table. As soon as it was clean, another "patron" walked over and took the table right away from the gentleman. He then came back and took the chairs.....all while the poor DV sat waiting. The 5 guys employee encouraged the action, maybe a friend? I can confirm the DV was there well before the people that took the table, in fact they sat in the spot against the wall the DV vacated. Once again it was clear the employee knew and either supported, or ignored, the issue. I've been to the Gatlinburg location at least 10-15 times in the last 2 years, Never again. Treatment of our disabled Veterans like that is inexcusable, and your employee watched, realistically participated. You should be ashamed to support such behavior. Never again. read more

Our order was ready exactly on time with Five Guy's generous portion of signature fries fresh out of the fryer, two yummy cheese burgers, all served up by friendly chefs. I will say it wasn't cheap! It's a typical Five Guys location in the shopping district in Gatlinburg. We went for lunch the other weekend and it was crowded but the staff kept the burgers coming and the tables turned quickly. The tables could have used a wipe down but given that it was the lunch rush, I'll give them a pass. Everyone from our group enjoyed our food. The fries are to die for! Not sure abothe food didn't get that far. We walked in the door 10 minutes before closing and were rudely screamed at. The person on the register screams " we are closed" . Burger was okay but I was very disappointed in the fries. I'm used to Five Guy's fries being the large homemade ones. The fries here even though we got plenty tasted and looked like the regular pre-bagged frozen ones. I hope all locations haven't changed to this because I can get an over priced burger anywhere. read more
