The other night in an order for 3 people they messed up our shake order, gave us a plain cheeseburger (when we ordered a bacon cheeseburger with topping), and forgot the bacon when we had them redo it. Five Guys to me started the realization you can get a fast food consistency but with a better quality burger. Your are going to be waiting longer than a drive through, but you watch it made in front of you and the process you can tell is not just something nuked and slapped together. I am always a bigger fan of the fries than the burgers though. The bun usually gets crushed, and with so many other quality burger joints chaining out now, I usually don't look to Five Guys as my first choice. I will say I do like their fries more than most other places, but the side is never the reason I show up to a place in the first place. As Five Guys goes this location is fairly good. Pretty big and lots of seating room. Not many people were there the day I stopped in, but my meal was no more memorable than other times I've been to Five Guys. read more

Love their burgers! They have the best burgers and if you want to avoid the carbohydrates, they offer the no-bun option too. But who cares, I love the bun, toppings, sauces and everything here. Don't forget to grab the salted and roasted peanuts! Yum.. The service at this location was decent. I don't drink soda but I saw that they have a wide variety of options. Workers are polite and efficient, I never wait in a long line and their fries are the best! We like to grab a few peanuts while we wait. For a fast burger that isn't the typical fast food garbage, you can't go wrong here. Unless you have a peanut allergy. Then you can go very wrong here... If not, I recommend lol. read more

Went there on a Wednesday evening, small line in front of me and a decently packed dining area. Only three employees were in sight (one expediting and working the register, one working the grill station, and the last working the fries and milkshakes) but they were all stellar. In particular the fries and milkshake guy was younger but he was darting around with such fervor it was great to see. My fries came out perfectly salted with a crispy exterior with a fluffy interior. I waited until I got home to have my burger and the steam got it a little mushy but it was still good nonetheless. I'm not sure if shifts are usually only three people during dinner time but these guys knocked it out of the park. Will definitely head back when I'm in the area. read more

There once was a place called Five Guys. And behold! They serve Burgers and Fries! Now my grills growing dust, because going is a must, and i'm in love with all they provide. There aren't many places that serve really good burgers without you also having to fork over a tip. Perhaps that's one of the reasons the Five Guys chain is doing so well. In theory, it's fast food. Burgers, fries, made your way with tons of topping varieties served in a brown paper bag. But in actuality, its more like a quick serving diner where your Dad (or Mom) may or may not be behind the grill throwing those burgers on one by one. The interior screams cozy but lunch time speed, the buckets of peanuts immediately enlighten you to the bro themed menu, and the fries are hand cut, thick, crispy, lightly salted goodness. I have yet to try the cajun fries, but as a frequent Five Guys enthusiast, I can promise you the regular fries are realllyyy good. The best thing about this place is that once you choose your base patty style ( bacon? Cheese? Bacon and cheese?) all the additional toppings aren't priced differently. You can add grilled onions and mushrooms for free. Spice it up with A-1 sauce. Get sweet with some BBQ. Burn your moth off with Jalepenos. Whatever your flavor they're serving it, and they're serving it fresh. If you're looking for burgers and fries that taste like home without cleaning the grill, then just eat here. Heads up for newbies: The regular burger comes with two patty's the "little" comes with one. I made that mistake the first time I stopped here and I had a burger baby for about an hour afterwards. As good as it gets for a $5 burger, at least. I eyed this place down as it took over six months to go up from the time that they put the sign on Rt 30. I had never been to a Five Guys and heard nothing but good things from friends in the DC area. The Fram location is always clean and always packed.....I also love to sneak out the door with a handful of peanuts even though you aren't supposed to. :) The quality is super consistent and that's what makes me go back about once a month. I love the online ordering option as well, I work about a mile away and it remembers the last order I made (I rarely change my toppings) and I literally have it all done on the website in 30 seconds, that earns them an extra star right there. I can then skip the line when I show up and the order is waiting for me, pre-paid. The french fries are DEADLY and I tend to stay away from them. Seeing the eye popping 1400 calories amount on a large order makes my heart flutter in anticipation of an impending clog. I also rarely get cheese on my burger so with healthier, veggie toppings.....the burger comes in at only about 750 calories which I can live with for lunch. I've never had anything here but the "regular" hamburger, no hot dog or anything like that. You can't review the burgers here against something you may get at a pub for $8.95, this has to be compared to that of the other fast food giants to make it rise to the top in the category it belongs in. For $5, in a mid-level sort of category, nothing that I know of beats Five Guys. read more

I was always nervous to try five guys because I've heard it was very greasy but I caved and ordered a milkshake from here. The milkshake was possibly the best milkshake I have had in my life. This is the fourth Five Guys I've been to and I must say the food is consistently good though pricier the a McDonald's. It is well worth it though. Tonight I had a small bacon cheeseburger and a regular fry. There were enough fries for at least two people. We called ahead and were told our order would be ready in five minutes. We made a few stops on the way and our order wasn't ready upon our arrival. In fact they took our money and hung around for a bit before they even started to prepare our food. My wife is a healthy eater. So I was pleased to eat here. I've eaten at the ones in Hawaii. This was even better. The burgers weren't as greasy as Hawaii. The service was really good. Wow, I have not written a review in a very long time! Anyone who likes Five Guys has never had a good burger in their lives. These things are no better than the patties that come out of the freezer section of the grocery store or your local McDonalds. They are thin. They still can't be cooked to order. Juicy? ummmm... compared to what? The paper bag it comes in? I got bacon on my burger and it was cooked to the point of almost turning into powder. It was so crunchy and overcooked it had no taste. I also prefer french fries for the fact that they have a crunchy fried outer portion. I am not into the handcut potato-ey fries. So that's another fail for me. These employees are also creepy young guys who look like they've never seen a nice set of boobs before in their life. Guys, I'm with my mother. Please keep your eyes on the food. For real. I love that you can customize your burgers (I always get the "little hamburger" because, uh, well, it's not little--it's a big, juicy patty vs. two in the "regular" burgers) with FREE toppings. I like to play around and sometimes I get it "all the way," while at other times, I pick and choose individually. I sorta feel like a diva when I list things one by one (kinda like those folks at Starbucks who order venti soy fat-free lattes with a triple shot of espresso sprinkled with a splash of high maintenance, extra hot, please), but then... when I take that first bite... I feel less like a diva, and more like a caveman. MEAT SO GOOD. ME LOVE MEAT. And the fries are thick-cut and especially tasty when "well done." The crunch. The spice. The joy. If you are familiar with the Five Guys Franchise you pretty much know what you're getting here. The restaurant doesn't reinvent the wheel in any way but if the formula works when why mess with it? Located in the old Quizno's location, Five Guys is a nice option for a decent burger and fries in Framingham. Until the restaurant opened your only real choice for a burger was McDonalds. So, Five Guys is a nice addition. Furthermore, the newly opened restaurant was well staffed when I visited and offered no wait to order and only about five minutes of waiting for my order to be ready. In the meantime you can munch on the complementary peanuts. In terms of the food I would say I like Five Guys but I don't love it but for a fast food burger it's probably the best option around here. read more

Five Guys is pretty consistent in the quality and service so we were not surprised at all to find ourselves completely happy with our meals today at this location. Actually, my grilled cheese was practically perfect and the fries were as perfect as they could get...yummy! My fiance said it was the best Five Guys burger he has had to date and the only thing that could possibly make a burger from Five Guys better would be to serve it with shredded lettuce.
