Yesterday I had a meeting in south Denver and was really craving a burger. I stopped by five guys and was not disappointed. I ordered the double cheeseburger with all the toppings on it and I added jalapeños. The burger patty's were cooked perfectly. I got a regular fries which were very salty (which I love) and a drink. They have one of those cool soda machines where you can choose any soda and any flavoring. These were my favorite as a kid. Five guys did a great job with service as the my meal was ready in under 10 minutes and the workers were very helpful and on top of things. The restaurant was clean and had a good ambiance and feel to it. I will be back to Five guys for when I need a good burger in my life. read more

In an age of grumpy, disgruntled and dismissive service, Jerry's positive and helpful attitude was so refreshing! I would not recommend bringing children to this establishment. During my visit, I observed behavior that raised serious safety and professionalism concerns among staff. The environment did not feel appropriate or safe for families. I believe management should address these issues to better serve the community. One of there workers definitely is doing some type of strong Drug. I would be worried about the food if it's contaminated or not. read more

My bad. I should've never gone here, it was a bad decision. So you can judge on that, or simply on the facts of a restaurant establishment. It wasn't busy on a Tuesday afternoon. Three other customers. I only ordered a cheeseburger with ketchup and pickles, some fries and a drink. I tipped well. (Wish I hadn't.) The MUSH that came out was almost inedible, practically uncooked, also without pickles. As much as I love Five Guys, it is sad to see the prices continually go higher and higher. Paying $20 for a cheeseburger, small fries and soda is a bit expensive for it since it's not a fine dining restaurant. Many restaurants I go to with huge burgers that are very good and come with fries and soda can easily be $18. So for a restaurant like Five Guys who is comparable to fast food feel too charge more than that is sad since I really do like their food a lot. Just to clarify, this review is only 3 stars due to the pricing of the food. The quality of food and workers is good. With that being said, this will probably be my last time eating at five guys. I will just use that money toward a night now at a nice restaurant with my family and friends. I do appreciate the amount of fries but I'd rather less fries if it means a lower price. There's a reason there's always a line at In 'n Out and none at 5 Guys. I think I understand this is a National chain that is sort of like a great local burger place. But, it seems I get a different burger at every location I try. They're pretty good most times but sometimes just ok. Tried this burger restaurant because I've heard good things so here's my review. The atmosphere is totally casual , stopped by for lunch with wife. You order at the counter and pick up at the counter. You can see how they process your order if you like. Production line is behinda glass sneeze guard. Our meal was prepared timely, efficiently, and most importantly correctly !! The meal was good but I wasn't exactly jumping up and down about it. The biggest negative to me was the pricing. Their regular burgers are a double and thier "little burger " is a single. Our lunch came to $28. Which included a double, a single, a shake (4.49) and we shared a large order of fries. The food was better than your typical fast food but not $28 better I would've rather went to Red Robin and had table service for that price Will we go back probably not. read more

I'm leaving this review as a delivery driver. I had to pick up 2 orders the other day. They lost one and the other was not right and it ended up with me asking for the 5th time for the full order. It was somewhere in the backed up orders they had going on. I waited 30 minutes. But the 3 people who were working, did not have it together either. They lost one of my orders, so as a driver my money and my stats got hit. The second order was so slow I had to keep reminding them I needed just one more shake, instead they were concerned with putting stuff in the fries shaker and open faced burgers on the counter. They were swamped and had about 20 open faced burgers just sitting there. I'm not exaggerating. Not put together. Just getting cold. I'm sure the crowd growing also did not get their correct orders. I stood there waiting for 30 minutes before I unassigned the one they lost and prayed the got the one I had right. Here is the problem - they were short staffed. They told me. If a location is short staffed it should be incumbent for the store manager to be there helping these overwhelmed workers. This place needs better management and training. As a customer I would not go to this location. As as delivery driver, I have blacklisted this location. read more

Did I just ruin my appetite with too many peanuts? lol, they sure are good, fresh, crunchy, salty. Then I realized there were sacks and sacks of potatoes piled up on the floor (first thought they were peanuts) I was like, woah, these guys are into their spuds, and they are! The fries were delicious, having been freshly fried yet they didn't burn my tongue when I ate them too fast. It's got that texture of what I call "paper crunch" and the fry doesn't just break easily, I like that. The burgers and hot dog were as greasy as expected (a good thing). But while the dog was overly salty the patties were a little under-seasoned. Has anyone suggested to Five Guys to change up their buns? Especially the burger buns, they're not substantial enough to hold the filling and after having soaked up all the grease, they're soggy and stick to the teeth. Five guises food is really good. It is a little bit overpriced. I would say everything's good about it except that their fries are a little greasy. I think that everything is really good and they're flying especially good even though they are greasy the burgers are really big and they will fill you up quickly. This is my favorite location for Five Guys. Having said that, it's Five Guys. The burgers are huge, the fries portion is huge, and the prices are definitely higher than a regular burger place. Had lunch here with my realtor he order a cheeseburger, reg fry, coke and I ordered a hamburger and water. I asked the you g lady how big was the burger and she showed me a little bun. So I said you need to make it both a double. By bill was 28.00 dollars and they put you on the spot by having a tip percentage on the screen. When the heck did a fast food joint charge 14 dollars a burger and have the audacity to ask for a 15% tip? No wonder the place was empty at lunch time. Decided to go to Five Guys instead of In and Out. I love the one in Castle Rock. We chose the Englewood location. Ordered and it took over 30 minutes to get our food. Seems they were taking a lot of phone orders for grub hub or another food service. The inside was messy and clearly needed cleaning. Our hamburgers were over cooked and just warm from sitting. Fries were ok ,some burnt. One beverage machine was out of selections. Ice was building up in the dispenser. Ketchup dispenser was empty so they were giving out the small packets. No trays, food came In a bag as if we were taking out. Very disappointed. Management needs to get it together. read more

With the talk of In n Out getting closer to opening in CO, I thought I would continue my quest for the best burger in town. Despite possibly being labelled a band wagoner, I love Shake Shake for larger chains. I had to give Five Guys another try since my last time there may have been pre-Yelp. Ordered a hamburger with just mayo lettuce tomato and onions so I could really taste the burger. Burger came out nice and hot. What surprised me from there was a lack of flavor. With the veggies, it was bland-so bland I was dipping my burger in ketchup....which I don't do! It was also not juicy at all. Fries were at least awesome...fresh, hot, crisp, nicely salted, slightly sweet from the fresh potato. Great, friendly customer service and clean restaurant. Priced on the high side, just under $14 for a burger and small or "little" fries. I will probably return for an order of fries, but now it's on to some elite, smaller burger joints. read more

Five Guys is certainly good at what they do, with better quality ingredients and cooked fresh as opposed to the usual fast food fare, and yet, are terribly overpriced. They seem to try and make up for this with a forced illusion of value by stocking an overflowing amount of French fries in the bag. The problem with this? Try reheating some of their fries later and tell me if they're edible. So despite my dog being a benefactor of the excess fries factor and the elation experienced from heart palpitations of sodium overload, I'd much rather prefer you lowering the prices to what would be considered fair, and then I'd frequent the establishment more oft. Regarding the service and general demeanor of employees I have no complaints, and they seem to be having a bit of fun compared to other burger joint places of similar design. The customizable topping list is a nice touch, especially if you want to switch it up and try a different combination - despite the fact the only cheese option is processed American cheese. It is a chain, so if you are eating here you probably like it :) This one is at the busy intersection of Broadway and Belleview, but luckily it sits in a shopping center that has its own light and parking area so it makes it easy to get in/out and park. We don't get out too often to eat with our kids at a restaurant and sometimes it can be very stressful. But this five guys has exceptional staff and the food was AWESOME. Our daughter brought her stuffed lion and a gentleman brought her a little thing of water for her lion- this thoughtful little gesture made her day as well as ours! Especially with our little kids, playing into their imagination is so special to them. We also bought a grilled cheese for our kids and our son accidentally knocked his half on the floor. So we split the other half into 1/4's and just kept on eating. Then a woman offered me a bag with a newly made grilled cheese for our kids without so much as a word about it. I have stopped by twice to get dinner. Both times I give 2 different guys at the register a $20 I get my change back that he hands to me then he proceeds to go grab hamburger buns and put them on grill without washing his hands to help out. He then goes back to register and helps a customer and turns around and does it again. I love this food but that grosses me out. Wtf read more

Used to be my favorite burger place. A cheeseburger went from 6.49 to 9.49. They also cheapened the burgers themselves. 2 stars is a stretch
