Ended up at this relatively new FG's in a round about way. Stopped at 2 other Cary locations, only to find them closed! (Maynard Rd and High House) So, luckily, with the help of Yelp, found the Parkside FG'S off of Highway 55. Arrived during the hustle and bustle of lunch rush and they were adequately stafed. Cashier greeted us with a smile, and was very efficient. Had to order a Large Bacon Cheese burger with all the fixings, and regular fries. Ordered a Bacon Burger with Cajun Fries and a drink. I'll probably skip the drink next time since it was like $2 and I didn't really need that high fructose corn syrup anyway. I do appreciate them wrapping the burger in aluminum foil since it is better at keeping that heat in. The burger was good. I ordered it with all the toppings and maybe I'll order less toppings next time since they kind of overwhelm the burger. The bacon is cooked crispy just the way I like it. The beef patty was nice. The reason that I didn't say that the burger was great was because the bun was all mushy. Mushy buns are no good. Cajun fries are fantastic, that seasoning is just mind blowing. read more

Always great food and friendly service. My husband stopped in on the way home from work today and brought food home. Unfortunately, one of the fries were missing in the bag. I called in and spoke with the manger, Candice. She was super helpful and apologetic. She corrected the order and plus made another meal for my husband since his would be cold for having to return. Some of the Best Burgers around! Fresh ground beef, good basic toppings. Really good fries fresh cut potato's. What I think is awesome. They have for us Eastern shore DelMarVa people, is apple cider vinegar for your fries. It takes longer than all the other chains that serve frozen mystery meat. I used to like this place, but it just disappointed me AGAIN AND AGAIN! I usually order a no bun burger with hot sauce. I don't add any other sauce buy hot sauce, so the burger is extremely bland without hot sauce. However, the people here forgot to put hot sauce in THREE TIMES! When my husband took the order back home, it's too late to go back and change it. It says on the order specifically "extra hot sauce". If the employee doesn't read English, TELL them what to do! I'm disappointed to how I was treated this evening in this location. After a long day I left my home without a mask since our state just mandated wearing masks I was hopeful I'd be dealt with compassion and kindness. That's exactly what didn't happen. Instead of being offered a mask as so many other places are doing I was told to leave. Upon exiting politely a customer began rudely tell me I was making others sick by not wearing a mask. I take responsibility for being forgetful about having a mask but the way I was treated by staff will keep me from visiting this location again. read more

Amazing fries and burgers aren't bad. I got mine in a bowl because I didn't want the bun. I like mine with a1 sauce, lettuce, tomato and bacon. Yummy! Fries are Cajun and regular and they always give u plenty. I don't love the steamed bun. I think it gets mushy all wrapped up so I ask for it unwrapped or in a bowl. I debated between three and four stars but it's not too high in my burger list. read more

If heaven were a place, this would be it. I'm pretty sure in the back of this restaurant there are 5 guys sitting there debating weather a patty is good enough to send to the front for cooking. After they hold a vote, which has to be unanimous, they send the patty to be crafted into a hamburger. Once the patty is sent to the front that's when the burger artisans take over. Every ounce of ketchup is meticulously poured with the utmost precision. Every tomato is perfectly sliced. Every onion flawlessly diced. I'm pretty sure the people at the grill are vetted for years before they are allowed to even flip a burger. These artisans are true heroes of the community. This 5 Guys is the epitome of hamburger bliss. They set the standard by which all other hamburgers should be measured. read more

I'm honestly just writing this to add more reviews to my profile because c'mon, who am I to critique Five Guys? Their burgers are always juicy, seasoned right and cooked just long enough. Fries are outstanding whether you like just salted or cajun seasoned, shakes are always a big hit, (a little pricey though I have to say) the soda machines let you just go regular or experiment with your own mix (Diet Coke vanilla mixed with the orange) and you have to give big props to any restaurant that sets out malt vinegar. The only time I've had a bad experience there with a BLT or burger was my own doing, trying to get fancy ordering stuff on it I've never had on a burger before but decided that day was going to be the day I really started liking jalapeños, grilled onions and relish on a cheeseburger. (sorry if that's your go-to menu item) Giving a bad review to Five Guys is like giving a bad review to the American Flag or bikinis or fast cars or a loyal dog, you get what I'm saying. read more

I would normally give this place a 5 but this time we placed an online order and I checked in with the gentlemen behind the counter that handed me my receipt and told me it would be right out. He continued to stay busy which I can understand but actually looked at my bad sitting on top of the fries machine. I love Five Guys, but this is the worst location I've been to. I understand being busy and having a lot of orders to fill, but in the 15 minutes I stood by the counter and waited only 5 orders were filled. I looked behind the counter, and the most activity going on was one of the employees seemed incredibly concerned about the exact placement of a bun on the foil. I must have watched her rearrange the same bun 2-3 times. After having been in the restaurant for over 20 minutes and facing the prospect of waiting 15-20 more minutes for my food, I finally gave up and left before I even received my burger. read more
