There are bottle cap openers mounted on the walls, crates for empties by the trash cans, covered outdoor seating, and prices that are refreshingly affordable. The seasoned meat were so bad I had hard time enjoying it. The bulgogi did not taste like a propee bulgogi and once again, tasted old like it has been in the fridge for too long. The spicy bulgogi was so grainy and not spicy at all, almost like they're using low quality gochugaru. Honestly, you will be much better off buying your own ingredients at h-mart or any asian grocery than going to this place. The only saving grace was the kind server who tends us often. 10/10 will not recommend.

The burger itself was a good size, and there was a generous amount of cheese and onions. However, the Texas toast was extremely soft and had an artificial buttery flavor that reminded me more of margarine than grilled bread. When I think of a great patty melt, I expect bread that's nicely toasted on a flat top with some texture and crispness, not something that feels soggy and mushy. The onions also left a lot to be desired. They tasted like typical fast-food grilled onions rather than properly caramelized onions. Even places like Five Guys do a better job in this department, using onions that taste fresher, sweeter, and more thoroughly cooked. I was also given the creamy pepper sauce that comes with the Patty Melt. It was fine--neither particularly good nor bad--but I wouldn't miss it if it wasn't included next time. Overall, Whataburger is pretty mid. I can see why some people enjoy it, but for me there are better regional fast-food options already available, such as Culver's, and others I'd love to see make their way here, like Portillo's. I'd be willing to give Whataburger another try if I'm nearby, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit.

The waiter was really nice and attentive and brought everything to our table. He even noticed I didn't have a drink and offered me a cup for water. I ordered the Mookie burger on gluten free bun and this is my favorite by far. The caramelized onions compliment the cheese and sauce. They take extra precautions for the gluten free burger. I tried the sirarcha aioli sauce with the French fries and it is great for a spicy addition. I can't wait to try more of the sauces. The rosemary french fries came out fresh and hot. The rosemary is really a nice addition to the fries. This is a very casual dining experience with booths and tables. They have outdoor seating but we ate inside. We were there during a very quiet time and enjoyed our burger and milkshake.

Especially loved the bacon, definitely good quality. Also liked their house sauce. We would definitely come back. They have a lot of other menu items like corn dogs & chili dogs. The counter folks are extremely nice, and it appears that everything is prepared fresh. The burgers are good, nice maillard crust on the burgers which adds to the good flavor! Had the fried zucchini sticks and they were top-notch! The biggest caveat is: don't go there in a t-shirt and shorts, it's literally like eating in a walk-in freezer, it's so cold that it's uncomfortable. But definitely recommended for a quality burger!
