Food was amazing, felt like I was eating at home. Service was also amazing, food was reasonably quick and staff was nice. I also enjoyed the appearance of the 50's type restaurant. But the food was pricey. Would leave 300 pounds heavier again.

This has got to be the cleanest Five Guys I've visited. I stopped in to get my son lunch after a day of errands and shopping. This location was incredibly personable and I got to swap cooking stories with one of the hosts, Delphino. My order came quick and hot. I ate some of my son's fries on the way home, they were delicious, and he loved his shake and burger. I'm sure we will revisit.

Love five guys! I have nothing negative to say about this place at all! The burgers are absolutely awesome and nothing like them! The French r Fries are simply the best I have ever put in my mouth! I have never had their milkshakes, but would like to try them once the quarantine is lifted and I am able to go out and enjoy eating out! Five guys is very unique in how they prepare their burgers and they are very customer service oriented everytime I have gone into their establishment for lunch or dinner. Whenever I crave a hamburger, five guys is my first choice because they just know how to do it right! Everyone should experience five guys once in their life!

Five Guys will always be my spot for great burgers! The Carmel location on a cold winter evening was packed, but the staff was ready and worked like a well run machine. Definitely not a spot for vegans...but a great place for those who are Keto. They are really good at making the bunless burger and making sure there's plenty of "lettuce" bun to keep the fully loaded burger intact for a fulfilling bite! Five Guys is the spot for devouring amazing hamburgers and fries, chilling with friends and enjoying the day!

Each meal at Five Guys is enough food to feed five guys. So I guess the name is apropos. A regular order of fries can feed my family of four easily. We accidentally got two orders, and we were eating fries for the rest of the day. The food is served to you in a sack, regardless of whether you're dining in or carrying out. It's not the most aesthetically pleasing way to serve food, but no one besides me seemed to mind. I guess you just make a DIY surface on which to lay your burger and fries out of your paper sack? Sure, why not. The burgers have a lotta beef in them. My beef is that it's too much beef. Then, if you get a double burger, you're just getting a ridiculous amount of beef. I like to stick to single burgers. You can customize your burgers with any toppings and condiments for no extra charge. I got grilled onions, ketchup, mustard, lettuce and tomato, and all of that stuff made for a huge and sloppy burger. Don't get me wrong; it tasted great. It just required a couple dozen napkins. They offer free peanuts here. They're salted and in the shell, so you get the pleasurable experience of cracking them open and munching while you wait for your food. I don't get any because who knows whose hands have been in the peanuts, but I'm sure you'll like them.

I ordered a cheeseburger and had food poisoning for the next two days. Shouldn't have got a burger that causes projectile vomiting all day

Not spectacular, but good. The Sidewinder fries were nicely cooked. The star of this show was unexpected; the Caesar side salad was presented beautifully and was an unusually large portion (being that it was just a side item). Ambience: They're in a relatively small space. It's a burger bar, so it is what it is, but at least the building is in a nice place in Carmel. Service: You order at the counter/register, and they bring the food to your table. Service was prompt. Those three categories were all good, but I think this was just a case where the whole seemed less than the sum of its parts. They do appear to offer boxes of sliders as a take-out item, so I may try that in the future.

This was a great burger place, and we would highly recommend in the future!…read more We arrived for a late lunch with a party of 5, and even though the restaurant was full we were seated promptly. Service was great and we started with the soft pretzel - three came in another and it was served with beer cheese and spicy mustard. They were the long pretzels and our teens loved them. They mostly have burgers but you can sub chicken or impossible burgers for any option or create your own. They also had a few chicken sandwich options. We ordered the pimento jalapeño burger (bacon, fried onion, pickled jalapeño and BBQ) with fresh cut fries and chicken sandwich with fries. The fries are fresh cut and were fresh and delicious - would probably go back just for the fries! The Chicken tenders was the real show stealer - it came with 6+ tenders and was a huge meal. We will definitely be back!

I have now made my husband a fan too, and he doesn't even like chicken tenders. I also enjoy the Garlic Three-Cheese Burger, but the tenders have my heart. I keep returning for this sole reason. I often order them to-go and the carry-out process just isn't as smooth as it once was. You can place your order for curbside pick-up, but the two times that I've done this, nobody ever came out. When I go inside to pick-up, I'm sent to an area near a door and a carry-out sign. Often times, there is nobody manning this "station", so I've stood there hoping that someone would ask me if I've been helped. Years ago, the bar handled to-go orders, and this was a much smoother process. I've dined in a few times and the service, and our experiences were just okay. The bar is generally kept very dimly lit, and the main dining room feels quite bright in contrast. The decor, or lack thereof, is blah. I maintain, however, that the chicken tenders are still the bee's knees!

The Brussels sprouts are an absolute triumph: perfectly blistered with a caramelized exterior and tender interior, dressed in a harmonious balance of bright acidity and savory depth. Little crunchy bits and a subtle smoky char add texture, while a finishing sprinkle (and a hint of something sweet-salty) elevates them from simple side to a show-stealer. The Korean salmon is equally impressive. The fish arrives flaky and moist with a richly glazed crust that carries sweet, spicy, and umami notes in perfect proportion. Layers of flavor -- gochujang-forward heat, sesame brightness, and a touch of citrus -- play against the salmon's natural richness without overpowering it. It's plated thoughtfully, with complementary sides that keep each bite balanced. If you're at Big Lug Canteen, don't pass up those two dishes -- they demonstrate skilled technique, bold yet nuanced seasoning, and a real sense of care in the kitchen. You can get a large sandwich for $10.95 or an extra large for $13.95. They have over 20 different condiments to add to your sandwich. For sides, they have french fries, onion rings, mac & cheese, baked beans, and chips. They are priced separately. They serve Coke products, which we really like! Our tenderloin sandwich was served hot and fresh. We got it with lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onions. They have a variety of sauces you can add as well. Since the seating area is small, my wife snagged us a table while I went to the counter to order. This was probably our mistake. Our order was priced incorrectly in that we only got the tenderloin Tuesday discount on one of the tenderloin sandwiches. We probably both should have gone to the counter and ordered separately. We got sauces on the side and my wife got the ranch and I got the fiery ranch. However, when we picked up our bag at the counter, my sauce was not included, although it was on the printout of our ticket. So, technically you could say both our order and our bill were incorrect Although the bill, you could say, was also our fault since we did not order separately. That being said, we have gone to other establishments on Tenderloin Tuesday and had one bill and we both received the discount. The tenderloin sandwich was OK and fairly priced given market conditions. Would we return? If we were on the far east side of Carmel, we would stop in again. However, we would not drive all the way here from the far west side of Carmel just for the tenderloin sandwich. If you are near their location, stop by and give them a try. They were definitely busy and the staff was friendly.
