Late lunch/Early dinner at Five Guys on Bethesda Row. I had the Bacon Cheeseburger. The rest of my crew ordered the Kid's Cheeseburger. Excellent service and good food!

Greasy fry bag. :(

I was short on time and allowed myself to go here rather than to by usual 5guys to come here. The person who took my order was basic, then hung up before I could say goodbye. The purple haired person was there in body but that's it. They all seemed tired at 9 pm. You can be tired but fake it a little for the customer maybe. There is a fruit fly problem here with many of these bugs swarming around the ketchup dispenser. Not sure why I thought they would be gone by now. Just nasty and unappetizing. Fix this problem! Also please drain the fries before putting them in the bag. Fries were so greasy they made my stomach hurt. Next time I will detour out of my way to the 5Guys near Home Depot (across from Montgomery Mall). My home 5Guys.

Yay! Five guys and all kinds a milk shakes. Staff is friendly, food is fresh made, great milkshake flavor selection, clean except for all the peanuts everywhere...but you get free peanuts while you wait so that's a bonus! Winning. Parking stinks though, there's paid parking nearby but if you just want to run in & go it's annoying.

My husband loves fries and when we came here we got the mother load of fries. We ordered just one order of medium size fries because we just finished dinner but my husband wanted to snack on fries. Let me tell you a medium size is more like an extra large size. We didn't just get a medium size container of fries but we also got half a paper bags worth of fries as well. Inside the bag was the medium container and a mound of fries on top. You definitely get more than what you pay for and the they taste good! There are also peanuts to snack on while you wait for your order.

Based on good reviews we end up in five guys. NEVER AGAIN! What a horrible experience! Bland, dry double layer meet, with bunch of tasteless toppings you can choose from the menu. Talking about toppings: they do no good to the obnoxiously bland Burger. No flavor, just smell of meat on a soggy bun which was not even toasted. Don't get me started with Fresh cut potatoes: oily and crumbling! Wait a minute someone said crunchy and healthy potatoes....huh...I would say, be ready to get disappointed! Gosh, this is my first and last time in five guys! People giving 1 and more stars to this restaurant might never tasted good juicy burger with flavor on a well baked bun! Meanwhile, you frowning East Coasters, if you really want to try fresh cut fries, do your self a favor, try it in any backwood of your choice in California. Ready for the photo? Seriously? Aluminum foil?

A chain is a chain is a chain, for the most part. Granted, I feel a bit different about Five Guys because they started in the DC area and they have yet to reach the gargantuan size of McDonald's or any other such burger chain. And if they do, I pray that their quality doesn't degrade. If you've been to one Five Guys, you've probably been to them all (unless the one you went to was particularly awful). At long last, Bethesdans who rarely venture into the scary world of DC or Virginia can see what they've been missing out on. This location is conveniently placed on Bethesda Avenue amidst a myriad of different restaurants and more upscale stores. Considering the other options in the immediate area, this is a great option for cheap, greasy food. If you don't know, Five Guys prides itself on simple tasty burgers. Thin-style patties, two to a bun, coming only with cheese. They offer a good amount of various toppings, all for free. Onions, pickles, ketchup and mustard, A-1 sauce... it's all good. The fries are also delicious, really truly great stuff. Be warned that even the small size has enough spuds to feed two people. But if you're incredibly hungry, a burger and some fries will fill you up nice. Just be warned: it took me a few minutes to get a burger when the place didn't have a line. It can take a lot longer during peak business hours. Oh, and you might leave smelling like a diner.

multiple problems and inconvenience with the simple order at one of the Five Guys locations. Online ordering for some reason is not available at that time . called in an order . first call was disconnected . second call a young lady put me on hold , and then took my order said it was already in 7 minutes . I arrived 10 minutes later to find the pleasure of reordering as my order was never placed . I waited an additional 7 to 10 minutes in the store to receive my order . where is 9 red shirt employees at this location at that time , and I was the only customer . 9 to 1 employee to customer ratio for substandard service! there was no greeting . there was no order to be picked up . I finally took my order home and to my surprise found my burger , of which Five Guys has thin patties , to be undercooked with raw meat in its Center ( see picture) . by far the worst service I have ever had at one of their locations .

Three gulps and I'm full.

Food quality, flavor, and creative menu: 3.5 - 4 Stars…read morePricing, 2 Stars Overall: 3 Stars Delish and unique hot dog/sausage dogs, unique burgers, fries, fried onion wings, chicken tenders, huge chicken wings, and massive chicken sandwiches. I ordered the Fonz Italian Sausage layered with pastrami (seemed like lunch meat) and melted cheese on top. I think it was provolone. Served on a toasted bun. Filling and satisfying, good flavor. The hot fries was a regular order of fries served with an imbalanced sprinkle sort of dumped on the top layer of fries and not distributed all the way through, which had an extra cost of $2 for the sprinkle of spices, which was an annoying difference in price in my opinion. Solid options for beer and a few ciders. Full bar as well. TVs on the walls only showing sports. You get a table number, order at the counter, pay, and they bring it out to the table number. Casual spot. My immediate thoughts...this place is overpriced. My sausage dog, fries and cider came to $26, plus tax, so about $31 bucks. I repeat, $31 bucks. I honestly felt as though the place was price gauaging. A few other people at my table mentioned the prices and thought they were overpriced. Not much service received, just them bringing the order out. Food was yummy, but I'm not convinced about the value. I have had sausage dogs, hot dogs, fries and beer around the world and I feel this place was overpriced. I like the atmosphere because its a perfect place for casual dining and decent for groups.

Some of the servers are super great, and some are not so much. When a burger without certain ingredients was ordered, one waiter rudely said "then what do you want on the burger" however, the burger still had plenty of ingredients listed, that the person ordering didn't ask to be left off. It's difficult to order a plain burger with the only burger on the menu has bacon and cheese. The food is standard fare. Burgers, sandwiches, salads. The chef pays attention to allergens. I've tried the shrimp roll, the Caesar salad, and the turkey club. All of these can be made gluten free, although the menu doesn't denote it. Another in my party enjoyed the shrimp tacos and the burger. Being inside the Marriott, it is a little overpriced, but the food is good, just hit or miss with service. Great for a quick bite if you're staying in the Marriott.

Before heading to the airport for our flight, we had a few hours to spare and decided to grab some…read morelunch. My husband did a little research and found this burger spot. From start to finish, I have absolutely no negative feedback at all. 1. The Food Everything we ordered was completely divine! Here's the rundown: -Sandwiches: My husband got a Bogan Bun. My son a Mumbo Bun chicken sandwich and listen, he didn't speak a single word the entire meal because he was enjoying it so much! I ordered the Lucky Bun made with an Impossible patty. It was everything! Best I've had at a restaurant! In fact, my son, who loves beef burgers and claims he doesn't like plant based meat, ended up eating the rest of my burger! He tore that plant based meat DOWN! -Thick cut chips & Queso: The waiter let us know that their portion of fries (chips) could easily feed 3 to 4 people. He was not lying at all. The three of us shared one basket. I don't know if the sandwiches or the fries stole the show. These fries were seasoned to absolute perfection!!! SERIOUSLY! Not the typical sprinkle on top, but seasoned on every single side like someone picked up each fry and hand sprinkled each fry. Think I'm fibbing look at my pic. We ordered a side of queso for dipping and it was so good I wish I had some right now. If you're reading, hear me out Lucky Bun....add tortilla chips and queso to the menu please!!!! I would buy it just to scoop up that delicious cheese. -The Garlic Aioli: why am I highlighting a condiment???? Because!! lol!! It wasn't just standard mayo mixed with garlic powder. You could tell someone actually finely minced fresh garlic and herbs into it. It was so good I couldn't decide whether to dip my fries in the aioli or the queso! So that's why it's in my review! 2. Service The service was exceptional. There was no wait time at all. We walked straight in and were seated immediately. The food came out extremely fast which surprised us since we all ordered completely different proteins. They were speedy but all of our food arrived perfectly warm. The host, a slim gentleman, and our waitress, a lovely young lady rockin locs, were both incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. I'm telling you good service makes the food even better! 3. Restaurant Look and Seating The inside of the restaurant is fairly small, but they maximized the space with multiple tables and a full service bar. They also have outdoor dining and a front waiting area with outdoor furniture, which would be perfect for a nice summer day. You don't even have to ask me because you already know the answer. YES!!! The next time I am in DC, I will specifically make time to go there. Even if I'm not staying in the immediate area, I would gladly take an Uber just to eat here again and so will my family! Make sure you get there too!

Stepped into Lucky Buns DC recently (I have not been here for several months) and wow, what a meal!…read more I went for the classic combo - a patty melt and fries - and both were absolutely on fire. The patty melt was perfectly cooked, juicy, and hit all the right spots, and those fries were crisp, seasoned just right, and seriously addictive. Service was great. Young bartender Noah with braids held it down. Young man was raised right! Go Commanders lol. Go Wizards! Restaurant was comfy, dark and chill. Inside and outside dining options. The mosquitoes aren't out yet so enjoy the patio. But honestly, the real star of the show, the one that truly stole my heart and taste buds, was the Antigua Bound drink. It was so good I had to get it twice! Seriously, this drink is a game-changer. It's got that perfect balance of refreshing and delicious that just makes you want to savor every sip. You know a drink is special when it outshines a stellar patty melt and fries, and the Antigua Bound definitely did that. Do yourself a favor and get to Lucky Buns DC (18th Street location) for some amazing food, and whatever you do, do NOT leave without trying the Antigua Bound. You'll thank me later! You're welcome!
