Croissant donut lover here!! Never leave Ponce without getting "The Purist" donut! It is my favorite one and the layers are so delicious! Must try donut place! Sometimes they are out of donuts if you go near the time they close, so go early! The ambiance is surrounded by other bakeries in the corner of Ponce's Food Hall! Service is always welcoming and sweet!

Sugary perfection! I tried the caramel apple, double chocolate (chocolate frosted and filled), and cinnamon cream cheese cronuts! They were all delicious! Buttery, flaky, soft, pillowy... My favorite was the chocolate frosted and filled one. I liked that the filling wasn't too heavy- it had a lighter, airy, whipped texture. I also really enjoyed the cheesecake frosting which topped the cinnamon cronut. The layers really make these 'donuts' stand out. The caramel apple flavor tasted too much like artificial apple for my liking. I still enjoyed it, just not as much as the others. Overall, I will definitely be returning! Highly recommend!

All of the donuts here are amazing and I believe most of them come with a vanilla buttercream filling. I always get the maple glaze donut. 10/10 every time. I've tried others like the chocolate sea salt and the salted caramel apple as well. These are really good but the maple glaze is a step above.

So first, this is coming from a donut connoisseur. I live for a good donut it's my happy place, it's my vice. So I have to shout out this spot as one of my top picks for donuts in Atlanta. There's always at least 1 flavor per month in their rotating seasonal menu that gives me chills and the cream cheese sticky bun is def one of them. It's like a cinnamon bun mixed with a delicate light pastry. Love this one though I'm still crossing my fingers and patiently waiting for the Vietnamese coffee donut to make its way back. They always have pretty inventive flavors and the staff members know their donuts, so can always rely on an honest recommendation. There's a couple locations but my go is @ ponce city. Def check them out!

Definitely worth getting a couple of delicious donuts while checking out the Ponce City Market. The apple fritter and the vanilla cream were two of our favorites today. The PCM in itself is very cool.

After 5 year I can back to Atlanta and my 1st stop was here! The donuts are big and fresh but the flavor is not good, the Boston cream the chocolate is to dark and for the other donuts are to fatty. The sugar plum has a very artificial flavor and too sweet

This past Sunday, I treated myself to an afternoon delight at Five Daughters Bakery, located on the first level of Ponce City Market. Even with the crowds buzzing through the market, the staff kept things moving smoothly--I was in and out in no time! After a quick scan of the display, I settled on The Purist, Strawberry Glazed, and a Mini Shortcake. Each one was so good--soft, fluffy, and just the right amount of sweetness. The flavors were well-balanced, and you could tell they're crafted with care. One of my favorite parts? The thoughtful touch of a Bible verse printed on the box--a small detail that left a big impression. If you're ever craving a sweet treat in Atlanta, I definitely recommend stopping by Five Daughters. Your taste buds will thank you!

So I'm giving a 5 star review even though I don't actually get to eat what I bought. I bought a pumpkin spice latte donut (because hello fall) and a vegan purist donut (because the regulars were hyping everything up). Honestly, I hadn't planned to buy anything, but the gentleman working was so engaging in convincing that I decided to try a few things. Unfortunately, my husband "misunderstood" my comment to him that I bought him a treat home. By the time I came to eat my pumpkin spice latte donut, there were no donuts in the house, and even the box was already in the trashcan out back. I do plan to try it one day, but it won't be now.

So this particular Five Daughters is located in Ponce De Leon Market. We love Five Daughters. The doughnuts are always moist and flavorful. I can't say I have one that is a favorite because they're all SO good! The service is always impressive as it's a small space but they're always efficient. The cute space is small but gives you what you need.

Ordered the apple cider donut and the apple pie donut which were both vegan. I ate my donuts the following day which I do not recommend but the flavor was good. The icing was balanced. I didn't taste straight sugar which is good. I will say they need to have more dairy-free options. I know it's Autumn but not everything needs to be apple flavored. Where's the pumpkin spice? Or Vegan Caramel?

I tried the Huckleberry Glaze, Salted Caramel Apple and Chocolate Pumpkin Cheesecake 100 layer donuts. Everything about the donut is excellent. The creams? taste exactly as named and the donut texture was layered, airy, and soft. No issues with service. I think it's worth it for the price.

Malted peanut butter and Vietnamese coffee cronuts

I ordered two cronuts from this open market vendor. Vietnamese coffee and the malted peanut butter, both were amazing. Fresh and flaky and decadent. The person working the counter was friendly. Price was reasonable.

My favorite donuts in Atlanta!!! I come here like it's a religion, but I try to avoid it if I can help it. Vanilla - I love the vanilla cream, I think it's a great addition to the donut itself Maple syrup - similar to vanilla because had the vanilla cream center, but on the sweeter side. But complements well Purist - like a fancier version of a French cruller. Cannot go wrong with this. This is my absolute fave. Though I like cream too much to not get the others. Sea salt chocolate - a little too sweet for my tastes, even more than the maple for me. The chocolate center is nice but also really sweet. The monthly ones are so fun to try. One of my favorites is the churro, but some like the smores, pumpkin cheesecake, and lemon strawberry shortcake are good too!!

This location is in the Summerville area which is heavily changing. There's a new Publix across the street and many new things withing walking distance. They have an outdoor patio behind Pete's Hotdogs but also some cozy inside seating if you like the old hamburger shop with countertop service. Their burgers are worth noting as well as their breakfast sandwiches. They add a bit of their own flare with a pepper jam on their breakfast sandwiches, which if you're into putting jam on your breakfast biscuits, that might interest you a bit. I'm not big into that, and I still enjoy it. The burgers and chicken sandwiches are also using fresh buns with fresh ingredients which you can't really find a lot of places in the city making their own buns. Most will use Martins, which i'm not complaining about those, but to find a fresh made bun hamburger in these times is amazing. As I'm finishing up this review, I'm reminding myself I need to go here more often.

The sesame seed bun seems to be made from scratch, and is crusty on the outside and chewy and fluffy on the inside. The pork sausage patty is moist, tasty, and juicy without falling apart, and very well seasoned. The egg was fried to perfection, and although there was a bit of runny yolk, it was not so much that it soaked the bun or made the sandwich needlessly messy. The sweet and tangy Hero Pepper Jelly is the perfect foil to the fried egg, cheese, and sausage, and for lovers of all things sweet and salty (such as myself), it amplifies the flavors of this sandwich to the next level. The croissant was lightly toasted, the egg tasted fresh, and while the sausage patty wasn't as big as the croissant itself, everything still came together nicely and worked well as a breakfast sandwich. Now the bear claw donut? Soft, fresh, and filled with apple pieces in the middle -- easily a standout. You can tell it wasn't sitting around for long.
