Top left corner: Peanut butter paradise, maple bacon, sunrise, bacon in the sun, midnight madness, and chocolate explosion

The best part about duck donuts is that the donuts are hot and fresh. The donuts are light and airy with a slightly crispy outside. We ordered the following flavors: Peanut butter paradise, maple bacon, chocolate explosion, midnight madness, bacon in the sun, and sunrise. I love their maple bacon and the bacon in the sun just adds a caramel drizzle on top. Can't go wrong there! Sunrise has a lemon icing with a raspberry drizzle and was the perfect combination. My kids love anything chocolate. You can also get creative and design your own donuts with a wide variety of icing flavors, toppings and drizzles.

Stopped by today for a dozen assorted donuts (TGTG). They were ready and waiting when I arrived and the associate was very friendly. I knew I'd be getting an assortment of their choice, and I was pleased to find that there was only one repeated flavor. The basic set up is that all of the donuts are the same base vanilla cake donut and you can choose various icings and toppings. It's a fun concept if you like to build your own and customize flavors. It's not my favorite donut shop in town, but it's just because I prefer a more old school donut. If you're looking for lots of toppings and even ice cream, this would be a fun choice.

I have driven by Duck Donuts many times and have always wanted to stop in. I finally stopped in last week with my friend after eating lunch. The donuts are made to order, which is really cool. You can watch them fry your donuts and then decorate them. They have a huge menu with so many different flavors and toppings, and you can also customize your own doughnut icing & toppings. The base donut is vanilla cake. My friend and I shared a box of 6 donuts in the following flavors:- lemon icing with strawberry drizzle - blueberry pancake - cookies and cream - maple bacon - cinnamon bun - chocolate icing with sprinkles My favorites were the first three, but they were all really tasty! They are really sweet and fun flavors, but I appreciate that they are a normal size donut, rather than an overly huge one.

On a random Wednesday, I decided that I needed a sugary pick me up around 4PM. I heard about a donut shop that made breakfast sandwiches on a donut, and I needed... in that moment.... To see what that was about! Annnnd I am so glad I did (pats self on back)! The only thing that I hated, was that I experienced this place ALONE!! Bring your friends and family here..... or at least pick up a dozen donuts because choosing just one is difficult, and they are sooooooo good! The location sits in a shopping plaza, and has ample parking, making it easy to swing on in. When you walk in, surprisingly you aren't greeted with a wall of donuts that look like they've been sitting there all day. There's a menu, with all of the toppings and choices that you can add to your donut. They literally make the donuts to order, so your visit may take a few minutes longer than your typical donut shop visit, but I guarantee, it's worth it! I was third in line when I walked in. The cashier took orders and made drinks as quickly as he could. I may have waited 7-8 minutes for my order, from the time I walked in, waited in line, placed my order and received it. I decided to go with the sausage, egg and cheese on a donut with maple drizzle, and bacon sprinkled on top! Y'all!!!!! Just get it, (if your into bacon)!!! I bet this sandwich can brighten up any gloomy morning, instantly! The donut (not overly sweet) sausage patty, egg and cheese were warm, and the maple drizzle that they drizzle on top was just enough, not to need syrup, jam or jelly. I enjoyed every bite!! I paired the sandwich with an iced caramel macchiato. That was yummy too. Since I was alone...... I needed someone else close to me to experience the awesomeness these good people at Duck Donuts put in a box, so I carried a strawberry shortcake and mocha cookies and crème donut home for my fiancée and daughter. This place is a 30 minute drive from my house, but I'd gladly take that trip again. The employees were welcoming and friendly. The donuts were amazing, and the little shop is cute and has a "happy" feeling in it.

Quacktastic! This place will ruffle your feathers in a good way! It's sad that I've driven past this place hundreds of times and didn't know it was here. My gf wanted to check it out and I'm just a lover of donuts. It's located in the Kohl's shopping center next to Mierkos and Chipotle. They have a very large variety of options here, and they use fresh donuts. The best part is they also make your order right there, so no worries of having a day or two day old donut. You can watch them do the toppings and everything. Loved the cheesecake line they offered, plus the powdered sugar and the chocolate caramel crunch. So freaking fresh and moist! We also ordered breakfast sammies. I got the bacon/egg/cheese on English muffin, which was ok. My gf got one on a donut and I surely made the wrong choice. However, if you're coming here, STICK with the donuts! These are certainly worth the money! The only issue we had is that they messed up our order. We had asked for two powdered and two cinnamon sugar, but only received one cinnamon sugar and extra of the other donuts we got. Thankfully my son loved the other ones. Keeping this one on my list as a good place to hit for local craft donuts! You won't be disappointed!

Yummy in my tummy is what I saw about these donuts. I love that they are made within minutes of placing your order and you get to watch the process through the glass. It's truly a beautiful site to see. You get a choice of chocolate or yellow cake bass (I don't remember exactly but chocolate was one option - lol). They have a large array of flavor options for every taste bud.

This was my first time trying duck donuts and they were so good! The donuts were all freshly made and we got to watch the workers decorate each donut right in front of us which was very cool. I thought prices were very reasonable too, I believe it was $21 for a dozen donuts. The donuts itself were nice and warm, and surprisingly not as sugary as I expected them to be. It was the perfect amount of sweetness for me and I loved that there were tons of unique flavor options to choose from. There's also an option to customize your own donut as well! If you're looking for a donut fix, duck donuts is the place to go!

Really good spot! I've tried a lot of donuts places, and these are definitely solid. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because they do taste a bit like funnel cake, and for me, the less oily tasting a donut, the better. Some people love that though, so it's really just a preference thing. My donuts were very fresh and the dough was tender. Also, the make your own donut option is pretty cool. We went with the fan favorites since it was our first time, but the variety of icings they have is nice.

E X P E R I E N C E We came on a Sunday around 2:15pm. There was no one else in the store. There were 2 female employees prepping the donuts and there was one male employee ringing us up. He was very patient and soft spoken. F O O D 1 Dozen donuts 4 glazed 1 strawberry shortcake 1 cookies and creme 2 blueberry lemonade 1 peanut butter and jelly 2 pina colada 1 s'mores They make the donuts fresh with this tiny little machine. (See machine in photos). It's soo cute. Then the employees decorate your donuts right at the spot, in front of you. It'll take some time since the donuts are not pre made but it's fresh! We waited 15 mins for our dozen to be decorated. Donuts are made well. Not as fluffy and airy as I like. Definitely tastes like small business home made donuts. Still super yummy. I'd definitely come back. TIP: donut holes need to be ordered prior to coming. P R I C E 16.50 + tip

I won't deduct a star for the extremely slow service. Staffing was low, but the employees were very courteous and positive. These donuts are on point like Iverson. Warm, moist, and rich with any flavor combination you choose. I was really surprised by how good the sandwich was. My family loved it.

I love love love Duck Donuts. Every time I'm in the East Cobb area I stop! The Bacon in the Sun donut is always a go to. But I haven't had a flavor I didn't like. Pro tip: get a half dozen and try a bunch of different flavors!

Duck Donuts is located in the Merchants Walk shopping center between Mirko and Chipotle. My husband suggested we get dessert after ordering dinner next door. I was ambivalent until we walked in. I could smell the goodness through my mask. The store was very clean and the staff was friendly. Everyone wore masks and kept socially distant, which I really appreciated. I studied the menu until I decided on the bacon maple donut. My God. It was wonderful. It was cooked fresh to order. Crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. I hadn't had anything like it. It was topped with maple frosting and chopped bacon. I wanted a second one so bad but employed restraint. I can totally see myself stopping by when I want a treat. Thank me later.

I'm not sure when the renovation happened, but the fresh aesthetic is a vibe--it's clean, updated, and feels like it actually belongs in this decade. As for the spread, we didn't come to play. We went for the turkey sausage, egg, and cheese on a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. Now, I know some people might look at that sweet and savory combo sideways, but that flavor profile is actually elite. It's a sophisticated maneuver, and they pulled it off. We also dove into a breakfast burrito packed with chicken sausage, potato, egg, and cheese. It was heavy, well-seasoned, and exactly the kind of structural integrity you want in a morning wrap. Of course, we had to sample the namesake, so we grabbed two chocolate iced donuts. They were fresh, airy, and reminded me why this place is a staple to begin with. Everything was pretty good across the board. It's nice to see a local gem evolve its look while keeping the food quality on point. If you're looking for a proper Saturday morning start in the area, this is definitely the move. Just bring an appetite and maybe some discipline, because it's easy to over-order when everything looks this good.

I think this place is worth checking out. This review is for the original location in Marietta. It opened in December 2015 and is still going strong. Doughnut Dollies opened two additional locations, both in Atlanta, but they've since closed: 1. The Collier Hills / Buckhead / Westside location on Howell Mill Rd opened in June 2019 and announced its closing in August 2024. https://www.instagram.com/doughnutdollies/p/C-3fWhvuMs3/?img_index=1 2. The Virginia-Highland location on Virginia Ave opened in August 2021 and was reported closed in June 2024. https://whatnowatlanta.com/virginia-highland-donut-shop-closes-another-could-be-moving-in/ Doughnut Dollies appears to change their menu monthly. There were 18 flavors when I looked, six available on weekends only. That said, we were able to get a Dulce de Leche doughnut, marked "weekend only," on a Wednesday afternoon. A couple of the more unique flavors included Raspberry Black Pepper and the Mikey. The latter was described as: "espresso cream-filled brioche Long John, maple, candied applewood-smoked bacon." A Long John is a bar-shaped, yeast-risen doughnut. They also sell a sour cream doughnut called the "Old Fashioned," probably because sour cream doughnuts were made as far back as the late 1800s. Other than that, the menu was pretty standard and not too exciting. There were lots of classic flavors and chocolate flavors. The store itself was cute and modern. Like other "gourmet" doughnut shops, Doughnut Dollies sells doughnuts a la carte. In other words, it's not cheaper to buy a dozen. The store also sells cookies and mini doughnuts. Here's what my wife and I snacked on: * Dollie ($4.00) - creme brulee-filled brioche tossed in sugar and bruleed * Apple Fritter ($4.50) - cinnamon brioche with roasted apple and vanilla glaze * Dulce de Leche (weekend only, $4.50) - cinnamon sugar brioche, housemade dulce de leche milk caramel We both liked the Dollie the best. It must be the shop's signature doughnut because of the name. The creme brulee filling was terrific. Overall, the doughnut had a yummy texture and delectable creaminess, and it wasn't too sweet. My wife and I disagreed on Nos. 2 and 3. She liked the Apple Fritter second best, but it was the Dulce de Leche for me. The latter was super sweet (sugar-coated) and had a rich, sticky caramel center. My wife thought it was too one-dimensional. She loves apple fritters and thought the Apple Fritter doughnut was enjoyable, despite the cinnamon being overbearing. The doughnut was a bit dry. I found that to sort of be the case for the Dulce de Leche doughnut too. I'm glad I finally got to try some doughnuts from Doughnut Dollies. I had it bookmarked on Yelp for many years. Back when I went into the office in Marietta, pre-COVID, I recall a coworker telling me about Doughnut Dollies. That's how long it's been. I look forward to trying different flavors in the future.
