Can you believe that I have never been to a Meijer before? This was my first visit and I can…read moreguarantee I will revisit whenever I see one. Look at this review as a newbie visiting. When I saw this in the distance I asked if we could come here. I have seen videos and stories about how magical one of these places are. I was not disappointed upon entry. I can't explain it, but this place was clean. I don't mean all neat and tidy, what I mean is that it was bright, welcoming, and white, almost to the point of feeling sterile. However, don't take that as a negative. It was different to be in a store and not feel like you were dirty. The brightness of this place drew me in. I wanted to shop. I also did not feel lost in the least. I would be in a department and have an item in mind and be in front of options in minutes. What I really liked about this is how the grocery store portion of this place wrapped around other departments. Like it meshes in with the store and doesn't overpower your experience. It also did not put a hard divide in the store where you needed to switch modes to shop. I could hop over to the hard lines and grab what I needed right after throwing a bag of cheese into my cart and then go right back to the groceries with ease. I was pleasantly surprised with this store and now I'm a bit envious of those that get to call this your neighborhood market.

They have no customer service whatsoever. I'm not going to go into details. But twice I had an…read moreissue and they act like I was an inconvience.

The manager Tony is a real POS. Bought a chair around Christmas as a present and I was weary about…read moredoing so. Tony pushed the sale very hard. He INSISTED that we had 30 days "no questions asked" to bring it back for a full refund. I told him for that reason only, I would buy the chair. Didn't want a problem if I was to return it. Several days after our purchase, news spread that his store was closing. Well today we had to bring our item back, well before the 30 day marker. Guess who immediately told us he couldn't? Apparently the policy changed because his store is closing. I, rightfully, was very angry at his sudden flipping the script. I told him he can't ****ing change the policy retroactively on past customers who bought before his store was closing. He then said "Well I was gonna help you, but now that you used bad language, I'm not." I told him he would return it and that I was leaving because my BP had skyrocketed. So then why was he telling us immediately that he couldn't return it if he intended to? What, so that it looked like he was doing us a favor? We got our refund and left. Frankly. I'm happy Tony will be out of a job soon. Slimy snake salesmen like him shouldn't be running stores or selling furniture. I'm disgusted.
