9/10! Don't get me wrong, having a women's room is over the top for a supermarket. The handicap stall was nice, and I did like the wall tiles. Only two issues, there was a wet sign and some toilet paper. The stall I went into had the toilet paper on the floor-- that's a customer issue though. read more

Surprising improvement! Last year, I ditched the misery that is Wal-Mart Austintown in favor of the new Meijer's down the road. In my opinion, the typical Wal-Mart is the place your Sunday afternoon errand run goes to die, and this location is emblematic of that. Recently I heard they did some measure of renovation to the place, so I decided to give it a go. I'm not gonna lie; it's still Wal-Mart. But it is no longer The Wal-Mart of the Living Dead®. The good: They opened up the layout somewhat with new fixtures scattered throughout. The lighting seems brighter. We needed help in the electronics department and the associate we spoke to was helpful & charming. Even the greeter at the front door was terrific. (In the past, I remember the greeters acting like they were hostages.) The bad: Still giant, empty inventory holes on shelves. This isn't uncommon in the 2022 world of post-covid retail, but it still looks terrible. And the sprucing up of the location, although an improvement, still looks like a coat of paint on an aging, dogeared toolshed. I'm still happy shopping at Meijer's, but I'll no longer avoid Austintown Wal-Mart like the retail equivalent of a sewage spill it has been in years past. They truly made the place better, which it desperately needed. read more

Significant improvement since they've gained some competition in the area. They've remodeled and rearranged to make larger aisle ways, more selection and even a decrease in their clothing prices. Sometimes I still find the need to stop here for an item or two.. but it's always the go to for Holiday items. Just can't beat their prices there. They've got the hookup on Halloween candy this year for sure!! read more

If I could give 0 star I would. The workers are not very intelligent individuals. The curb side pick up is a joke I could've done their jobs better and faster. They don't work cars very well and all look stoned outta their minds. Highly don't recommend. read more

I placed an online order on Friday it was supposed to been delivered between 4:00 and 5:00 in the evening got a notification that I was going to be a 2-hour delay well 4 hours later it still have not been delivered so I tried using the app for the customer service didn't get anywhere finally got somebody on the phone they were able to get things situated and I would by like 9:00 finally that night well when my order got there the delivery driver was really nice he was awesome but all I had was two bags for $50 and those bags was two bags of chips and a small thing of LaCroix remind you for $50 two bags of chips in LaCroix well I call back to the 800 number the only thing they could offer me was a refund and I explained to them that this was all the money I had I really need the food delivered because if you refund my money it's going to be over 24 hours before I can access that money again didn't try to offer me any kind of something to help me out so they refund it my money so not back in my account obviously so I borrow money and I place another order because I don't have a car so I couldn't pick the food up so I place another order it was supposed to be delivered between 11:00 and 12:00 today on Saturday it rolls around to a little after 11:00 and I get a notification again that is going to be another 2 hour delay so I wait it's going after all the most one I called the 800 number again customer service they don't know what's wrong they try to contact the store nobody's answering that gentleman did offer me a $25 off of my next order which is helpful it would have been a lot more helpful last night when I had to borrow money so obviously last night they could have helped me but they didn't so oh there's just a delay your order will be out there so now it is 5:40 at night still no order I finally am able to borrow a car to drive out to this Walmart to pick my food up because it still has not been assigned to a driver and I see drivers picking up orders so I'm not sure why they can't assign mine to a driver so now I am waiting for my food again read more

Won't honor returns. I bought a pair of shoes for work and they were to narrow so I tried to return them back after 6 days even though Walmart policy is 90 days but they wouldn't take them because they said they don't accept returns anymore. They just lost a customer that spends about $1000 a month over a $40 pair of shoes. read more

This is the 2nd time I have purchased a 1/2 gallon of milk and it has leaked in my car. The 1st time we had to rip the car apart due to the odor. I tried calling and speaking with someone. It took 30 rings before someone answered then I was transferred to another person who said I needed to speak with a manager. After 50 rings and no answer, I hung up. Horrible customer service. Now I am just hoping we don't have to rip the car apart again. I guess we should have learned our lesson the 1st time. read more

Too much Too fast! The store is way too large and it's lost a lot of variety in product selection. At one point a very curios dog wandered in, and he apparently was being nosy around a skunk prior to entering the store. So the sales associates had to chase him down. It has also drawn in another variety of customer. Now as far as staff; I have never encountered so many strange cashiers. One of them had a song stuck in her head and decided to share. Another one decided to tell me about her upcoming hysterectomy. OK!? read more

I went to the jewelry counter and asked for assistants and they called for assistants. I waited, waited and waited, and waited. It took 30 minutes for someone to show up. I have NOT SHOPPED any Walmart since July 2019. I previously gave a 5 star review from great service in past (in Oh). BUT after I bought online from Walmart....I'm done. I was home in Ohio for my grandson's birthday in NV. He is a budding artist at only six. So I ordered an art desk for 1/21/19. It arrived at son's house and he told me by looking at box that it was too small. So he put it aside til I came to lasVegas. Upon getting back in July I found UNOPENED ART DESK. I took it in to Walmart's service desk. To be fair gal tried her best to help me "trade up" to bigger (at least$20+more) BUT was refused. Told I had to return within 3 months for online orders. Took me 6 mos to get there. So I was stuck w/brand new, unopened, useless $32 present. I saw neighbor and gave to (friends sitting outside their house in car) the desk for their kids or others kids. Out the money for new one. Found one online much bigger for $8. Yippee. And seriously, in past (as long as receipt, in box, still tagged) and bought from Walmart in store....they always took back for refund OR exchange. BUT THIS NEW ONLINE.....NO. SO I and my close family/friends DO NOT SHOP AT WALMART. We may not be "big potatoes" BUT OVER a year of ALL no longer buying groceries weekly, clothes, big ticket....it still adds up. hello , I would like to explain my experience at the Austintown Walmart store #2063 Me and a friend were browsing through walmart in the clothes section and we had come up a manager named alicia or something she had red hair im not sure but besides that it was a power outage or something and i heard her swearing it another associate on the floor and she doesn't seem to be a quite person she seemed rude and up tight so we leave and come back later hoping she wasn't there and we were looking again and i heard some associates laughing and i looked and it was a few girls putting things away and i thought it was funny because they were super friendly and was putting stuff away and they asked if i need help finding any of my items and i said no thank you i was laughing and i had asked one of the girls if it's okay if i have something back to her to put away because i decided i didnt want it so she said, "ya i don't give a shit " and she said sorry" i said no worries i thought it was funny and the rude manager from early in the day said, " who doesn't give a shit" which i thought was rude to call her out in the loud voice she has and she continued to say how it was wrong i meant to go up and confront the so called manager but didn't find time to but she called a group huddle 3 lanes away. and was saying how they were standing there and not doing anything when obviously they were putting clothes away i thought the way she thought it was ok smiling at me was desturbing like find something else to do and get more associates that can do what these girls are doing because they are creating a happy work environment caring for there job and there respectful customer service and not to get called out for a little slip up and the manager had no right to put her in front of customers she was the one that should watch her tone and language. read more

10/11/16 at 10:15 pm I go into Walmart to buy bolts for toilet. Simple transaction right WRONG. Not ONE register open. So I go into a lane where a cashier is checking someone out and said "there are no registers open ". She replies "Nope". I say " how am I suppose to purchase my items ". She said "I don't know". Now I'm pissed. If I had not needed them I would have walked out Then she yells " guess you have to use self check out" well I prefer not to use those so you can have your job. I was forced to use the self check out because I needed the bolts. So I say to the woman in the area " I don't know how to use these because I prefer a checkout lane". She comments well it's not that difficult. Do as she is showing me I made her ring out my items. I cannot wait until there is another area store to compete. I am done with there bs. read more
