This store in particular sticks out from the rest because of it's shelf space. Now there are a fee that have gone to that have great shelf space and because of that minor detail are one of my favorite locations. It literally just depends on the area that I am in. And for those of you that don't know the importance of "shelf space". The more shelf space the more stuff they can stock. If you are a frequent shopper of the Dollar Tree franchise, you would know first hand that they all don't carry the exact same items. Needless to say, I bout a bunch of junk that I probably didn't need at the moment but wanted and became useful down the line. Other than that, it is your typical Dollar Tree. A little more organized in a sense. The had rows and rows of items and unlike other locations had enough cashiers to keep the lines moving. Would definitely come again when I am in the area. I had never heard of Macy's Backsage and the girl that rang up my purchase said "Macy's Backstage, it's an "off-price" (aka discount) concept that sells clothes, housewares, shoes, cosmetics, and other goods at discount prices." Being that Macy's at the Fall's Mall always looks like it's two clicks from going out of business, it seems they are doing the right thing in trying to find or redefine themselves in the South Miami are. It was until recently the stuff of nostalgia, but now recently renovated back to its original glory! The lovely waterfalls flow again, the restaurants are a mix of local top notch and trendy establishments, the clothiers are aplenty, the gaming establishment is super fun and all inclusive, cool coffee shop Mr Bean, high end beauty salons, plenty of fun treat/ice cream shops, a good true classic department store Macys, fun sports bar, kids rides and play area, luxury gym...and even the movie theater is tops as a luxury cinema again. It wasn't just about walking around--we were actually engaging with different spots, completing challenges, and discovering places in a whole new way. One of the highlights was getting to sample bites from a variety of restaurants along the way. Bulla Gastrobar definitely stood out with its flavorful Spanish-inspired offerings, and it was a treat getting to try something from their menu in the middle of all the action. We also stopped by GameTime, where the arcade energy added a playful break to the night--games, lights, and a great atmosphere made it hard to leave!
