From the moment you walk in, you can look 360 degrees around you and find all kinds of interesting things. Pictures, figures, frames, mannequins, signs, furniture, and the list goes on. The people there are extremely friendly and willing to help find what you may have come for, if they have it. They have wish lists and will keep you in mind if they come across that odd item you just need to have. This isn't like any antique or home decor place you've been to. This place is a feast for the senses. We ended up leaving with 2 signs, an old stained glass window, and 4 display figures. We'll be going back soon since they get stuff in frequently. I was an hour and half south of us but well worth the trip! 1/29/13 - UPDATE Apparently they are going out of buisness? We went down there on Sunday after not having visited in a while. We were sad to see signs on the outside advertising the closing. Nothing on the website gave any indication of this. We tried to inquire a number of times about their status and whether or not they were closing or moving. We got the brush off each time so who knows what they are doing. The "sale" started in November so there really isn't much of anything left. Sad. This place was great and we've bought quite a bit from them. Oh well. :(

EZ Dealz - Deals are priced based on what day it is: Fri/Sat is brand new but $10, Thursday is picked over but only $1.

That said, the key to stores like this are selection, visibility, and price, and this place is only okay in all three regards. Came here at the recommendation of another Yelper who also enjoys deals. The fact that I came straight here after a visit to somewhat-close-by Discount Depot provides a good point of comparison: while this place has a fair number of bins, you can search through everything thoroughly in about 20 minutes due to its size. While prices are fairly standard for this kind of store, they certainly did not have much on the $10 day (Fri/Sat) that merited spending $10 on. Indeed, most of the boxes here are wrapped up so tight with no labels whatsoever that you can't really be sure what you're getting at all. A gentleman informed me that you could take boxes up front to be checked, though how manageable of an approach is that when each bin has a hundred mystery boxes? A better approach would be for them to open them, write on the side what it is, and put it in the bins, though maybe that's just not worth it to them. All things considered, while I might swing by again if I happened to be in the area (especially on one of their cheaper days), it's not worth going out of your way for. If you want a much better volume of options (most of which you can actually see what you're getting), head down the road for Discount Depot. Overall: 3.0 stars ---- Pros: - Lots of parking. - Prices are great after a few days, though on the $10 days not so much. - Store interior is clean and inviting. Cons: - Boxes are wrapped up so tight you won't know what half of the items there are. - Not as much selection as other stores of this nature. - This area has some security risks, so aim to come during daylight hours if possible.

This is one of the best book stores in town. I stumbled upon Aaron on TikTok…read more https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTrRcUmgy/) who recommended this bookstore and I am glad I came. They have a ton of books for adults, young adults, and children. Everything is well-organized by author's last name and genre. It is also very easy to walk through the aisles. I saw a huge collection of CDs and DvDs. Everything is well-priced too. They also sell beads, jewelry, clothes and other cool things you have to check out. My favorite is Skeletina who is sitting at a table looking very happy to be there. By her, there is a cart of books that just came in that is always good to check out. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful. You can trade in books, CDs or movies for credit. If you can't find what you are looking for, you can leave them a list of books you want and they will be on the lookout and let you know if it comes in. Be sure to check them out. They have plenty of parking spaces in front of the store. You won't be disappointed. Just a heads up, this Saturday, November 29th EVERYTHING in the store will be on sale. It is "Small Business Day" and worth getting those good deals. I will include my book finds for today.

If you need help with anything, especially with self check out-you have to go ask for help and they will all look around at each other and argue over who is going to help. The food often rings up incorrectly compared to the signage and when you ask for it to be corrected, prepare to have a full on debate to get it fixed. The customer service is extremely lacking in this store and the attitudes are terrible.

Kroger's Struggles and Customer Relations Issues…read more Kroger, one of America's largest grocery chains, has been facing severe challenges following a failed merger. The company has already been forced to close some of its stores, and even more changes are expected amid continued economic uncertainty. Pressure from competitors only adds to the strain, but many of Kroger's difficulties stem from its own management decisions and poor customer-service practices. Chronic Out-of-Stock Problems One of the biggest frustrations for customers is Kroger's inability to keep popular items in stock. Time and again, advertised sale items are unavailable--either because management fails to order sufficient quantities or because there is a belief that customers will settle for higher-priced substitutes. Unlike many competitors, Kroger often refuses to issue rainchecks on out-of-stock sale items. This leaves customers frustrated and discouraged from returning. Even more frustrating is that raincheck policies vary from store to store. Some managers do not issue them at all, while others impose arbitrary limits (5 items at one location, 20 at another). When customers escalate complaints to Kroger's corporate office, the issue is simply routed back to the same store management, and rarely addressed in good faith. Restrictive Coupon Policies Another unpopular policy is Kroger's handling of its "buy 5, save more" promotions. Customers are only allowed to use the offer once per week, even though the sale runs for seven days. Most other retailers allow repeat use during the promotion period, but Kroger's restrictive rule forces customers to either make multiple trips or miss out entirely. This practice gives the impression that Kroger is more interested in protecting margins than rewarding loyalty. Customer Service Barriers Adding to the frustration is Kroger's limited customer service hours. While stores are typically open until 11 PM, the service desk often closes around 8 PM. This prevents shoppers from returning items, obtaining rainchecks, or resolving pricing errors during evening hours--a significant inconvenience. Shoppers also report that too many locations operate with only one staffed register at a time, pushing customers toward self-checkout whether they want it or not. Price Competitiveness Concerns Kroger heavily advertises "lower prices," but in practice, many competitors beat them. For example, 12-packs of name-brand soda at Kroger often run $10.95 each, with promotions like "buy 2, get 2 free" (bringing the price down to $5.47 each) or "buy 2, get 3 free" ($4.38 each). By comparison, other retailers regularly sell the same brands for $8.55 per pack, or three for $12.00, and also provide store coupons ($5 off $25) plus frequent manufacturer coupons ($2-3 off three 12-packs). The net cost can drop as low as $2.66 per pack--far below Kroger's sale pricing. Kroger rarely offers manufacturer coupons that can be stacked with store promotions, raising questions about whether management is keeping supplier discounts instead of passing them on to customers. Bottom Line If Kroger wants to stop its decline, it must address these deep-rooted management issues. The retailer's top-down approach, dismissive attitude toward customer complaints, restrictive coupon policies, and inconsistent service are driving shoppers elsewhere. Without meaningful reform, Kroger risks losing even more ground to competitors who treat their customers with fairness and respect.

Time does not exist here. This antique mall is HUGE! It's filled with everything you could possibly dream of. Like most antique shops, things are a bit on the pricey side, but there is a range of prices for a range of products with a range of quality. All sales are final. We looked through household goods, posters, toys, cards, and even cute outfits. I ended up purchasing a very cute denim romper and a big glass jar with oranges on it. You really have to hunt through rows of things to find the gems you're looking for, but you're likely to find things you'd never expect to find and fall in love with. I'd highly recommend checking this spot out.

I recently happened to stop in during their open house but I would have been able to plan better had I been following them. Most vendors are priced very fairly as well. Definitely a must stop for anyone.
