Love this place! We just discovered it through a Google search. It's not an antique store, but…read morerather a place where retail displays go for a second chance at life. From the moment you walk in, you can look 360 degrees around you and find all kinds of interesting things. Pictures, figures, frames, mannequins, signs, furniture, and the list goes on. The people there are extremely friendly and willing to help find what you may have come for, if they have it. They have wish lists and will keep you in mind if they come across that odd item you just need to have. This isn't like any antique or home decor place you've been to. This place is a feast for the senses. We ended up leaving with 2 signs, an old stained glass window, and 4 display figures. We'll be going back soon since they get stuff in frequently. I was an hour and half south of us but well worth the trip! 1/29/13 - UPDATE Apparently they are going out of buisness? We went down there on Sunday after not having visited in a while. We were sad to see signs on the outside advertising the closing. Nothing on the website gave any indication of this. We tried to inquire a number of times about their status and whether or not they were closing or moving. We got the brush off each time so who knows what they are doing. The "sale" started in November so there really isn't much of anything left. Sad. This place was great and we've bought quite a bit from them. Oh well. :(

EZ Dealz - Deals are priced based on what day it is: Fri/Sat is brand new but $10, Thursday is picked over but only $1.

I love deal stores, especially ones that handle mostly Amazon/retail returns since you can usually…read morefind some near-new items for a great price. That said, the key to stores like this are selection, visibility, and price, and this place is only okay in all three regards. Came here at the recommendation of another Yelper who also enjoys deals. The fact that I came straight here after a visit to somewhat-close-by Discount Depot provides a good point of comparison: while this place has a fair number of bins, you can search through everything thoroughly in about 20 minutes due to its size. While prices are fairly standard for this kind of store, they certainly did not have much on the $10 day (Fri/Sat) that merited spending $10 on. Indeed, most of the boxes here are wrapped up so tight with no labels whatsoever that you can't really be sure what you're getting at all. A gentleman informed me that you could take boxes up front to be checked, though how manageable of an approach is that when each bin has a hundred mystery boxes? A better approach would be for them to open them, write on the side what it is, and put it in the bins, though maybe that's just not worth it to them. All things considered, while I might swing by again if I happened to be in the area (especially on one of their cheaper days), it's not worth going out of your way for. If you want a much better volume of options (most of which you can actually see what you're getting), head down the road for Discount Depot. Overall: 3.0 stars ---- Pros: - Lots of parking. - Prices are great after a few days, though on the $10 days not so much. - Store interior is clean and inviting. Cons: - Boxes are wrapped up so tight you won't know what half of the items there are. - Not as much selection as other stores of this nature. - This area has some security risks, so aim to come during daylight hours if possible.

I am trying to reach the…read morecorporate office with a complaint. I just got off the phone with the Regional/General Manager from K&G in Maryland. Nothing was resolved by the Regional/General Manager of the White Oak store. Just a bunch of hot blown air to the customer. He promised me something out of the store as a compensation for the hardship that I faced in his Richmond store and then when I asked him about it later he acted like he knew nothing. You, see, apparently he is not in Richmond but in Maryland. I see why the subordinate leadership in Richmond is just as bad as he is. K & G needs better leadership. I faced a very difficult time over the years dealing with the manager in the Richmond store. She is very rude and follows customers around the store and makes the shopping experience very uncomfortable. Because of this I have not been in the store lately because I am in fear of harassment. I hope that someone from the corporate office reaches out to me soon so I can fill you in on what was promised to me in compensation for the Richmond store management and employee behavior. I am truly dissatisfied to have been lied to by the Regional/General Manager. This review only shows a little bit of the problems with your Richmond store.

Plenty of parking, which is helpful. Bath & Body Works, JCPenney, Petsmart, Target and other retail. McDonald's, Panera, Qdoba, Red Lobster, Friday's and Panera. It appears the clothing stores around here seem like they're completely missing the demographics of local neighborHOODs like of Seven Gables, St Paul's area and Varina. Doesn't seem like much is here for guys.. at all. Either way it doesn't matter it's usually dead here except for the restaurants like Olive Garden, Chik Fil A and Red Lobsters. What is strange is that everything here ..and near here seems to be a mini version of their West End counterparts. The Best Buy across the street, The Red Lobster.. all are noticbly smaller. There is a roundabout for some odd reason, and 70% of the area is empty parking lot. You'll ask yourself "wow do people around here know how to drive?!" the answer is likely no since two high schools are about 15 minutes away and the international airport is also close by..plus it's still new so you're getting a mix of newbies on the road dealing with a roundabout. Long story short I would not be surprised to see this place go the way of this area's last mall, Eastgate aka Fairfield Commons that's only 5 or so minutes down the street. People here are very rude except for Chikfila or whatever. I will never go to the GameStop here again, it' was my first time experiencing a ghetto GameStop. The employees wear urban clothes, du rags howeer you spell it.. kids are always in here and it's the size of a closet with maybe 2 bins of used games that are still fairly new and from this gen. Short Pump is still the best shopping center.
