I used to really love the idea of a Five Below. It is a great place to get deals. However, lately, there have been fewer and fewer deals here. Even when they do have a decent selection of seasonal items, most are over the $5 price point. Very few items are less than $5. Service here is decent. At least they have cashiers checking us out instead of self-service checkout. I would love to see a better stock of scurrent shirts. They are always sparse, and those that are there are disorganized. read more

What a crap store. I've seen random drinks placed anywhere on shelves, looks unorganized and employees don't look like they enjoy their job at all. What seems to be like the store manager always talking to another girl on shift every time I come in and shop. A week ago my wife and I were given a flyer for SUNDAY SQUISHDAY. The flyer says the doors open @ 11am on Sunday, 31. My wife and I woke up early to go get a Elvis stitch. As soon as we walked in, the employees were laughing and giggling in secret. We asked an employee and she said that they open the doors at 10am and one lady came in and bought them all in 20 seconds. I don't think it's fair that they opened at 10am. We saw a lot of customers walk in at 11am looking for this squishmellow. And we saw a lot of disappointing faces on children and adults. Not every merchandise sold here is a bargain. Your better off going to Target for some of the items. Example: 24 count colored pencils by Crayola $5 at Target was $1.99-$2.99. ( can't recall exact amount) Many other items I noticed I definitely can get a better deal elsewhere, but hey if your not like me and don't like to shop around. I am I'm shock to say the least. I had gone into the store and was checking out at approximately 3:00pm on 6/25/23. I had purchased several items, but had decided to return a beach umbrella since my husband had purchased one. Two other associates tried returning item, but did not know how. They had asked for the supervisor to step in and help. The second this Supervisor started helping me she started yelling at me, belittled me and said " it's not working cause you used Apple Pay" which I did no. I explained to her that I had tapped my debit card on the card reader and entered my PIN number. She proceeded to throw her hands up and said no you used "Apple Pay" , she has no idea what she was talking about and was extremely condescending. Several consumer's that were shopping looked at her and I was extremely uncomfortable the way she conducted herself was such a bad representation of the company- five below, and herself. She clearly has no respect for the company or her team. I hope that five below recognizes the type of individual they hired and can coach her or coach her out. I will be stopping by to speak with someone as to this horrific experience and the stress this individual caused me, I was blotching from my chest to my face. I like this particular store. Its always clean, fully stocked, organized, and the staff is nice. I'm sadden they have self check out (less staff, less people employed). The kiosk I was using wasn't reading my money. The manager came over and help out quickly. I will definitely come back to this location again. read more

I went in this morning at 11:02. By The time I walked in to the very back where the squish mellows were. I just wanted one for my wife, which was Ariel and these two women and one guy had stuffed every squish mellow of value in their three bags and took all the kids smiles away. My wife and I searched but did not find any leftover that she wanted. Therefore, my wife was unhappy as well. People were complaining as we were walking out that these three individuals had taken everything. I can't blame the three individuals because five below used to have a limit of four, which makes sense because it gave everybody a chance to get the items you were looking for unfortunately supposedly this for item only rule was lifted, per the girl behind the counter she says it's illegal and they've never done it which, in fact they have because I had stayed in front of the store from 5am to opening in the past and then was told I only could have four. I didn't have a problem following the rule, and everybody was happy. Where is the management? Where is the empathy for the children.? This store also has a bunch of teenagers walking through working for them unfortunately do not have the skills that's needed for customer service, bad attitudes, dirty looks and giggling when asking a question. I unfortunately had to give thumbs down to a store with no management. No customer service skills and no care for people that are collecting items not reselling them. This makes me question the Company, five below as a whole. read more

Very nice, very clean store. Well stocked and lots of great deals. The only reason I won't give 5 stars is because not every product here is good quality. Some of the products can be cheaply made and won't last long. If you have kids this store is pretty awesome, you can get a lot of great stuff for them. read more

This place is pretty cool. A lot of trinkets that you probably don't really need but will want to have. They have everything divided into huge sections with signs and bold decor! Most things were $5, I found a few that were bellow. They have everything from clothes to make up to phone accessories to party supplies to kids toys and all in between! I only purchased three items today, two freeman masks that I usually order on Amazon, both $4 each. Also, a set of doggy poo bags that we needed for our camper! These were $2.50!!! Score!! Today was opening weekend, so they have the laker girls coming, .05 hot dogs and prize giveaway. I even received a free tote bag and crumple backpack. The staff seemed energetic and friendly! I can't wait to some back and see how this store does!! I have it 4 stars because it's grand opening weekend, I'll come back when they had settled in and update my review!! read more

I went to this store to exchange a phone case that I had recently purchase because it was the wrong size .the first store employee was cool . The manager on the other hand was rude she was a short butch looking girl as what they call a marimacha in Spanish. She said that I couldn't open the casing for the cell phone case to size on my phone because of the "Covid 19" thing going on . I was at the other 5 below store and they had no problem opening the cases to try the case on the phone . From the get go the manager was rude and wasn't helpful at all. This is the reason I came back to exchange because the first one I bought didn't fit I wanted to try the new case so I don't have to return again to exchange it. As a manager you need to learn to talk to customers and be careful With words you used with a customers. They get one stars because the first employee Did try to help me but the manager try to be ms. super micro manage messed everything up! I will not return to this store again . read more

Best store! I've taken the girls Christmas shopping for their sisters here 3 days running and it's been the best experience. They have lots of cool things but the employees are amazing. A young man was so sweet in the checkout line at helping us (& my 5 year old who wanted to check out her own purchases), and a younger lady the next day so was so sweet and kind. It makes me happy when associates go above and beyond! read more

This place is pretty cool! My boyfriend and I went on a random adventure and walked in on a whim, walked out with a bag of goodies. Stop in! You'll probably find something you need/want. And they have a pretty nice sized candy section of candy you don't see everywhere. read more

My autistic son was doing great in the store until he had a meltdown after we had to wait 15+ minutes in the checkout line!!! This store is the dollar store on steroids!! It's more of a store with tons of gift ideas. Toys, candy, good candy!! Nice store. Everything here is less than $5 or $5, sort of like a dollar tree. I can totally see little kids loving this store because there is so much different stuff here such as Candy, Electronics, Snacks, Posters, Clothes, Sports Equipment, Hats, Legos, Workout Equipment, etc. It is pretty much a one-stop shop. Give each kid $5 here once a week or month and they'll go crazy here. read more
