Customer service these days is just the worst! By chance I went to Burlington--oh how I regret that decision. There is a manager there who was just alarmingly rude to me and for what?? All I did was make the mistake of shopping there and spending over $150! My apologies, how dare I **sigh** I bought 4 bundles of hangers 30 pk and 20 pks. A huge planter (for a floor!!) and a smaller one and a bunch of other miscellaneous items. While waiting in line I selected a huge bag to purchase. The initial young lady that checked me out at the register was so kind and thoughtful. When some probably innocuous substance rubbed off onto my hand from a product I started to purchase she quickly found a paper towel so I could clean it off my hand. Then she was just kind to chat with as she rung up my items I asked her not to pack too much stuff in the bags because I parked far away, it was hot and the items are noticeably heavy. She obliged. You can't take carts out the store...stupid policy but whatever. As I removed my bags from the cart I was like damn this vase it about to bust through the thin flimsy ass bag. Then the other bag you could see how the hangers pierced through it. I was like I'm not going to make it to my vehicle without this vase falling through and breaking and/or these hangers ripping a hole and falling out of the bag. I kindly KINDLY mind you ask the first worker I saw behind the register counter for two more bags she quickly says she can't give me any more bags. I explained I needed the bags because my heavy items are about to fall out and the handles look as if it's going to snap. She goes on to ramble about she doesn't have enough bags and she can't give me anymore. I'm thinking damn did I do something to you, I just need two of your cheap ass bags. I continued to say I don't want two more bags Ma'am; I NEED two more bags for the heavy items I just purchased. She looks at me like I ruined her day and gives me a bag and she even helps me put my bag into the additional bag. I thank her and let her know I need one more. She starts telling me she can't give me another bag. I sigh exhaustively like oh she's back on that bs again. She crassly explains again that she doesn't have enough bags and then shows me her millions of bags but in showing me this large stack of bags--says she doesn't have enough bags to give me one, just one bag. Lady you are so ridiculous! Why is your problem my problem? I don't work at your f'kn store. You should be a problem solver for customers instead of a problem starter!! If giving me one bag is going to ruin your life or your job as an employee of Burlington Coat Factory then you truly have bigger problems! She continues to tell me she can't give me anymore bags. I'm thinking I'm not going anywhere cause I'm sure in two to three steps I would be back in there complaining that their flimsy bag wasn't strong enough to hold my vases and now they have a bigger problem because I would've returned the fuxkin BROKEN vase and requested a full refund!! She realizes I'm not going anywhere and this biaaatch throws the bag at me or more so tosses it my way. Who does that?! Over a f'kn bag that I need for my many purchases, you've got to be kidding me! Unfortunately this heifa was quite serious. I take the bag and struggle to place the other bag inside of it. Once I'm able to accomplish this, I take my highly frustrated and sweaty self back to the register and ask her if she is the manager and of course she says yeah. I ask her does she make it a habit to throw bags at customers and she says she didn't--she did! More like tossed it but either way she did it without any concern that I was a paying customer who only requested 2 damn bags. Then, as I'm leaving & fussing about how flimsy the bags are and they can't hold my purchased items this friggin bag troll hollers at me that I could've bought a bag I was so angry at this point that I hollered twice as loud as she hollered towards me "I did buy a bag!!" and I left the store just so upset. Why did it have to be that way over something I clearly needed, smdh! I'm going to start video recording the nonsense I encounter--just straight live recording on one of the social media platforms. I hope this crackhead of a manager reflected on the part she played in this whole bit. I mean make it make sense. Was all the back and forth really necessary to behave like she did towards a paying customer, in front of other customers like that's the norm?! I did not ask her for a kidney. I did not ask her for an eyeball--it was just two darn bags. Lord, I hope the powers that be review the video footage of that day on August 7th late morning/ early afternoon and reprimand this ol meanie for her truly disrespectful and horrible disposition. My money is as green as everyone else's and she should've treated me with a bit more concern and hospitality. I didn't deserve to be treated like some scum off the street begging for bags. Unbelievable!! read more

The 8am opening is perfect!!! Yes!!! I prefer shopping during early morning hours. I'm not searching for anything specific, just seeing what grabs my attention. I found a fantastic pair of winter boots, but they didn't have my size available. The staff provided courteous service during checkout and returns. read more

I don't remember when Burlington dropped the "coat factory" part of their name but I'm here for it :). I love their selection. It is much smaller than other Burlington's I'm used to, but the nice thing about is that they're able to keep their store more organized and cleaner than the bigger ones. Staff is nice. They can be super friendly or just meh, but never rude. They started some sort of security checkpoint where they rope off the entrance area where you walk in. I'm guessing it's to prevent grab and dash thieves. Understandable. I love coming here to look at their selections and almost always leave with a deal. read more

This place sucks it's super tiny and it doesn't have that much inventory and the bathrooms are never opened

This was my first time coming to this store since it opened and I will not be back. As soon as you walk in you have to wait for security to allow you in the store. It's the most odd thing and unwelcoming experience. It immediately turned me off. I was lied around store looking for a specific item. Store was not fully stocked a lot of empty shelves. As I decided to leave the I then had to wait for security guard again to allow me exit. I went next door to marshals instead and had a much better shopping experience read more

As of today I had a bad experience at Burlington , never had any issues at this location. The white lady in the front rudely denied me entrance saying I couldn't bring my dog into the store , could've said it much nicer. Even though the family in front of us had just walked into the store with a chihuahua?? My dog is a service pet! Felt racially profiled. very rude and unfair. read more

Security tag wasn't fully removed. I posted the picture of the receipt to show proof that I in fact did make a purchase. Covered the employees name because at the end of the day, we all make mistakes and we're not perfect but thankfully, I found this on my floor before me or my children stepped on it. Employees, please be more careful. read more

Burlington is a good place to shop. Even if I don't find what I'm actually looking for, I usually do find something. The store is usually clean and organized although, sometimes, it does get a little disheveled. Don't expect much help from the staff. It's not that kind of store. Checkout lines can get long and slow. Staff is generally not aware of the stock nor where to find things. read more

This is a clean store, good prices, nice area, & even the customers are nice. I love this place.

I like coming to this store. So much selection to choose from. People who left bad reviews are stuck up. Pretty much the people who shop here come for the selection but want VIP service. Like relax it's Burlington. But anyways they always have a great amount of things! I drive 15 min extra just to come to this one. And target is across the street :) read more

Went here in search for an outfit for my civil wedding. So using the outfits was a must. My first trip to the fitting room three employees were talking amongst themselves, didn't bother to acknowledge me for 3-4 mins. Only when I took my phone did one get the keys to open the door. Second time the lady helped me out in a timely manner. Third time I used the fitting rooms no one was there. An employee that helped me out the first time (the one with the group of ladies) walked to the stand I was standing next to grabbed some stuff and left without assisting me and then she walked to the back room and then came out and left home I assume. Waited for 8-10s until I decided to seek someone out on the floor. The lady said" I'm sorry yea we don't know where they're at." And I responded with" a lady was just helping me - couple of mins ago. She had black hair and..." then she cuts me off with " everyone has black hair. -_- first of all no. And I simply just walked away because what she was saying after that was not helpful. She couldn't simply redirect me to someone that could help. I go back and wait until I decided to call the store and only then was someone sent to help me. The lack of urgency to help a customer out baffled me. Will not be returning to this location which is unfortunate since it's close by but I'd rather driver farther to get better service. read more

The team absolutely needs training. I won't come back to this location again, how unfortunate a new store in the area has horrible customer service. I can go on about the entire experience but I had to waste enough of my time there already tonight. read more

I was excited to see this store opening up in my neighborhood so last night I went there to buy a sweatshirt. As soon as you walk in the first thing you see is the security guard and there is as another lady at the front - like a supervisor or something. They were friendly enough but still the whole set up felt very ghetto and not befitting the really nice area where I live. Let me be clear it's not the security in of itself. I mean Ross across the way has security but you just don't feel like they are literally guarding the door and scanning your face as you enter and filing you away in some database. The store at Renaissance way in Rialto and even at the outlet mall in Ontario does not give off this vibe so what gives? read more

Very messy & unorganized location... I was just there yesterday & there seemed to have been 4 important ladies who work for the Burlington district just standing around observing the store & speaking to the store manager but not once greeted customers who walked in nor tried to make the store presentable. Very poor. read more
