Love this place for a quick delicious bite. A great restaurant to take your whole family, grandma and kiddos alike.

Loved the first time I went to this place. Thought we had found our perfect spot. Went again a couple more times and huge disappointment. For some reason food doesn't taste the same. Cocktails are still amazing but, for lunch or dinner, just go somewhere else. read more

Came here on a Wednesday at noon with two friends. After waiting an hour and a half for our food (eggs), we just left. Our waitress was terrible and they seem to have a staffing issue in the kitchen. read more

Had an amazing first experience here with my family last week. Came in for an early dinner. Exceptional friendly service, free appetizer hand delivered by the talented chef himself, and an overall tasty affordable Michelin star like experience. The brussel sprout appetizer and ravioli is to die for! Also try the hibiscus margarita! Best restaurant downtown Glen Ellyn. Add it to the top of your list! read more

The food was not over fried for tacos and the flavors that marinated the entrees were really lovely. For a new restaurant this had a wow factor with the drinks mixology and real mint, thyme, and unique flavors were wonderful too ! The ceviche I would rival the Caribbean ceviche and the fresh fish was truly fresh considering we live in the middle of the country. The ambiance and decor were very unique and cool as well. read more

We've been there two times and both times we had issues with our order coming out correctly and the food was not good. In addition, the food was overpriced for the quality of food and service. The ambience was good, but that's its only redeeming quality. read more

We were excited to finally try 504 kitchen. I took the family for dinner last night, for my wife's birthday. When we waked in, there was a faint mold smell (water damaged building?), several flies buzzing around (gross), and there was only one other couple there (why was it dead at 6:15pm on a sunday night). After ordering dinner, they brought my daughter's drink with a straw already inserted into the cup top, which had an ant crawling on the straw. While waiting for our dinner, we noticed the wait staff had their water bottles on the prep area (not sanitary) and were on their phones (phones are one of the dirtiest things you can touch). I didnt see anyone go to the restroom to wash hands before delivering our food. The wife and I ordered the salmon dinner, which we both thought was not very flavorful (there are two local restaurants that have a better, more flavorful salmon dinner). The kids ordered fried chicken, which was good. We were going to order dessert, but were so turned off by everything, we declined. Lastly, I asked the server what the "additional charge" on our bill was and she didn't know. I then checked the menu and saw they charge 3% when using a credit card. The server should have known what that charge was for. Overall, not a positive experience and we will not go back. I feel bad my wife spent her actual birthday there. read more

Great potatoes! Cocktails were amazing too. Service was super friendly. was a little expensive though

To crowded,to noisy to busy with not enough staff. Also suggested to staff not to chat while patrons are waiting to place orders. Provide extra napkins when delivering meal. On the Saturday night of our visit, our party of 3 had to wait because we didn't have reservations, there were clearly empty tables, that remained empty even after we were seated, served and left. Maybe I will chalk it up to growing pains and try them again on a week day read more

Super cute place. Beautiful decor. Serious whiskey options. Bar area is cool and drinks are fantastic. Service is excellent. Can't wait to come back to try the food. read more

Met two girlfriends here for brunch. None of us live in the area but we picked it based on the reviews. I had high hopes but didn't have a great experience here. the service was slow slow slow, leaving coffee to go cold repeatedly. 45 minutes after we ordered the waiter told us they had run out of fruit for the fruit crepes two of ordered. The alternate options offered Weren't great. I basically paid 14 for an empty crepe with whip cream on it and left hungry. The place is cute and the server was nice so maybe I will give it another try if I'm in the area. read more

Been here three times and really want to like it, menu is all over the place. Doesn't really have a theme and the food is mediocre for the price, nothing innovative especially for the lunch/breakfast menu. The ambiance is nice so I wish it was better, it's a cute little place and haven't had any issue with service. Just wish the food wasn't such a miss. read more

Love helping the little guy! Not disappointed at all! Had the 5 BLT with scrumptious potatoes! Omgoodness the sandwich was huge and so delicious! Mimosa was good, and water refreshing! Delicious food, friendly atmosphere and staff. You should definitely try this place! Was here for lunch, coming back for dinner! read more

A large group of us went in November of 2023 and it was absolutely amazing. $40 for chicken parmesan probably sounds ridiculous but I'm telling you, it was the most delish I've ever had. I had been wanting to try their brunch menu so a few of us went last weekend and I was really surprised to be so disappointed. The server was great - but the food... the food was quite like cafeteria food. I figured, it's an off day, I'll try to go back for dinner next week. Thursday evening, a friend and I are seated and provided menus. There were only 4 main dishes being offered and none sounded appealing. I asked about the chicken parm and we were told they changed the menu. We ended up leaving without ordering. I don't know what happened - heard there's a new chef, heard there's a new owner. Eitherway, pretty sure this place won't survive. Such a shame. I thought our community finally had the right fit for that spot. It must be cursed. read more

INCREDIBLE food...no words for all the flavors and the presentation is exquisite. Wait staff were wise and charming, hostess was often checking to see if all was well and the chef even came out to talk to us. Cannot wait to go back, I want to try everything on the menu. An absolute delight, the entire experience. We had a peach and beets salad (mmmmm) salmon with a delicate sauce and unique vegetables and a hisbicus roasted chocolate dessert that was to die for. A small place but attractive design and a comfortable arrangement. read more

My wife found this place in Glen Ellyn and decided on dinner to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. I must say that we were pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the locally sourced food. The ambiance was quiet which should be expected for a Sunday. The dinner menu is limited and portions small but I assure you that you will leave satisfied. The cocktails was very good and innovative. I ordered the 7 course Chefs tasting menu and my wife had the Tetela appetizer and Branzino as her main course. The presentation of the food is like being served at a five star French restaurant. The food was the right temperature and the taste played symphony on your palate. It's that good folks. From the server to the chef, everything was on point. I can't wait to come back to taste their fall menu but will come back soon to try their breakfast menu. Talk soon. read more

Pitiful sized portions for the price. Twice as expensive as it should be. Cup of coffee was $5 alone.

Food is amazing, don't understand how this place is not fully packed every night!!! Hidden gem .

We were really excited to try this place out today and what a disappointment! This is the worst experience I had in a long time. I went with my girlfriends and when the order came they only dropped off two dishes and left without telling us anything about the third dish. The two dishes were barely warm. 15 minutes goes by and still nobody approached our table about the missing dish. We had to flag our server down who had no explanation for us she said the food was coming. Another 10 minutes goes by and the food arrived and everything was wrong with the order which also included the food allergy product melon that we told the server about. They remade the dish and it was still wrong. The manager did not handle this right and customer service was just awful. I would never go back. read more

You can't have one server during Sunday breakfast service. (I felt bad for the poor server). Took too long. The coffee is awful.

The attention to detail of appearance of the foods and the flavors of the food was phenomenal.

Delicious food and fabulous service. Watching the trains go by was also fun! Definitely recommend - at least for breakfast!! (That's all we tried, so can't comment on anything else.) read more

Went for brunch and got a breakfast sandwich. It was delicious and too large for me to finish. My friend got a wild mushroom crepe which was rolled up like a burrito but she still enjoyed it. The service was great, our waitress was kind and made great recommendations. The place itself is very cute. Will have to return to try more food on the menu. read more

Glen Ellyn needed a restaurant like this. Cocktails are amazing and the food is excellent. Highly recommend the braised short rib appetizer.

My husband and I decided to try this place out and it was highly disappointing. The cocktails were okay but the food was mediocre. We started with the Korean short rib buns and it was a miss. Overly salty and the flavors did not mesh well together. I ordered the pad thai with chicken for my main course. I am not sure why they decided to call this dish pad thai, but it did not look or taste like pad thai. The noodles were thin and not your traditional wide pad thai noodle. The chicken had zero flavor and had a strange texture. The whole dish was very bland. I took 2 bites and could not even take another because it was just that bad. We asked for the check and the waitress did not ask how the food was or ask if I needed a box, which was fine because I wasn't going to take the leftovers home anyway. Maybe it was an off night or we ordered the wrong thing, but I would not come back to this place. There are much better options in the area! read more

Great bathroom, I was nicely greeted once I walked in and shown the bathrooms when I asked. They have like 3 all gender bathrooms and when I went in there was hand automated soap and paper towels, but no automated toilets; which is great because they usually flush before you're done or even get near it. The bathrooms are so clean I could lick the floor(not sure why I would) and not get sick, I love a good bathroom and they have it, so if you don't have anywhere to do your business go here! read more

My wife and I had lunch at 504 kitchen. The space is nicely laid out and tables are not crowded in. The turkey club was excellent and the veggie skillet was tasty. Our waiter was very attentive and kept the beverages filled. This is an excellent addition to the Glen Ellyn dining choices. We will be back. read more

We had a party of 8 for breakfast. Every single person said their dish was phenomenal! We had to sit in the bar area due to our large party size (kids at high tops, adults at the bar), and the bartender was delightful and gave us great service. I see they've paused due to the construction, but when they reopen, please support them! They are an amazing contribution to our downtown restaurant scene! read more
