Service is terrible! Sat at bar got a beer within 2 or 3 minutes after I sat down. I had planned on eating but was never offered a menu! So, I left. How does a bartender in a resteraunt NOT offer a menu to anyone that sits down at the bar? If someone buys 2 drinks @ $10 the math is simple $2 tip. Nicely remodeled inside, still quite loud when busy as they removed the wall between the bar and the dining area. Food is decent, not exceptional. Service is usually good, depends on who you get. I really wanted to like this place because the atmosphere is genuinely great--comfortable, welcoming, and a spot you'd want to hang out in. Unfortunately, the food didn't come close to matching the vibe. I ordered the honey mustard chicken wrap, and it was honestly laughable how little chicken was in it. There may have been half of a single chicken finger total, and the rest was basically all lettuce. It felt more like a salad wrap with a hint of chicken rather than an actual chicken wrap. For a place with such a good atmosphere, the food was very below average and a big letdown. If you're looking for a good meal it will not be coming from Fitzy's. read more

Should have read the reviews before coming here for the first and last time. We came in with a group. The hostess was clearly annoyed even though the restaurant section was empty. She said we could have the back room, when we asked if we could stay in the front to watch the Pats game she (again, extremely annoyed) that "taking two booths would take up an entire servers section" (again, not sure why that was an issue given the fact that the section was empty when we walked in and when we left). The new renovations and decor were nice, food was ... "eh" but we won't be coming back thanks to the rude service. read more

We've lived in the area for well over a decade and I have to admit, we have not taken advantage of this place nearly enough. We made our way there with our two hungry growing boys a few weeks ago.... Fitzy's Pub has been around forever. Stopped in today LouAnn had the shaved steak sandwich and I had the Fitzy Burger. LouAnn loved the steak. The meat was delicious and tasty. the Fitzy Burger is 8oz Angus burger cooked on a flame grill with caramelized onions. The burger was delicious. I had a draft of Guinness too which was sufficiently cold and delicious. read more

Tried this place for lunch since they had great deals listed with their online menu. However, when we arrived those specials were nowhere to be found, until I asked the waitress about it, and she begrudgingly went and got that other menu. I had the meatball sandwich with a French onion soup. My buddy had steak tips. Both the sandwich and the soup were tasteless as they had no seasoning whatsoever. The steak tips were overcooked. I took a steak bomb sandwich home to my husband and that was their only saving grace as he enjoyed it. The whole experience was disappointing. read more

Went to Fitzy's last night. We were happy with our appetizers but had a terrible experience with the staff. There is one particular server that we get in the bar area that has such an attitude. He often charges us incorrectly and we have to have him update the bill, it's starting to feel purposeful at this point. The bartenders were eating their own meals while working which isn't very classy. We were charged for an extra drink and when we asked her to correct it, she said "I'll take it off because I don't want to fight with you". Asked to speak with the manager about our experience and saw him and the server laughing together before he came over. He didn't seem to care about losing us a customers. read more

Very Tasty My wife and I went there last night for dinner because we were in the area. We hadn't been there in many years. We thought the food was outstanding. Best pub option in the immediate area for sure. Fitzy's was my first exposure to pubs here in the southeastern mass triangle. This is your local pub, locating in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Fitzy's has a large menu and a large selection of daily specials. Pub fare, twin lobsters, pizza and steaks. Try the potato soup which is my favorite. You can get a large ice cold draft beer and play keno as well as have a decent dinner and spend very little. In the word of the famous coach of the Foxboro football team likes to say Fitzy's... My guest got a turkey melt which was pretty tasty also and came with some of those delicious Irish "chips". Overall an OK place to stop in, but not worth traveling to. We stopped in for a quick beer and what we knew would be pub food, what we didn't know is how awful the pub food would be. We ordered 2 appetizers, nachos and calamari. The nachos were completely burnt, to the point of being inedible. The calamari was swimming in some mystery sauce that was just not good at all. The waitress was very nice and attentive, but she couldn't make up for the terrible food. The only down side is their take out, you can order anything from the main menu but the portions seem to be smaller. The food is still excellent but just smaller portion. We ordered their food through DoorDash. The loaded potato tots that we ordered to share was actually just a single baked potato. $13.00 for a potato. The Buffalo wings we ordered came dry and plain with a small drop of sauce under the wings in the container. The sweet potato fries were cold and soggy. I know fries don't always deliver well and I wouldn't have mentioned it except I spent $72 for an order where fitzys put zero effort into trying to make satisfactory. My work held our annual holiday party here this year. They do have a nice size room for functions like a shower or party. Plenty of space set off from the main restaurant area. We had stuffed mushrooms (topped with cheese! yum!), chicken skewers and chicken tenders for apps. The meal we had consisted of: warm rolls, salad, baked fish, green beans, pasta, meatballs, lasagna, chicken parm. Some of us really like the parm while others like the meatballs. I found the baked fish to be very good. The only complaint we had was that it took a really long time to get drinks. If management was aware of a holiday party on the same night as trivia (?? not sure exactly what was going on... I am just guessing!) maybe an extra bartender on that night would have been a good idea. All in all we had a great time and enjoyed the atmosphere and the food! read more

Have recently been to this spot now 4 times. I was very impressed and happy each time. After reading previous reviews I was surprised at the comments. I found the staff very friendly and helpful, bartender ( even on one occasion very busy) serving drinks in a timely manor. The food ..being a local pub and all was way past expectations. Tonight in ordering dinner I asked "Shepard's pie" was it made fresh or frozen, no fresh. Real mashed potatoes or ?? No real mashed potatoes. "Chicken cordon blue", frozen or ?? No made fresh here. Both dinners arrived hot and as ordered. Both meals had in my option been created on site and with care very well done. After years in the food service industry I was impressed. The staff Moe the bartender and our waitress tonight..experienced, professional and wearing a green shirt are to be commended. I would recommend Fitzy's Pub to my friends and neighbors, a nice clean place to have drinks/dinner. Observations would be that it seems like many of the negative reviews are based on organization and service ? As friendly and nice as waitstaff is training on things like introducing themselves to clearing empty dishes goes a long way, its hard to schedule staff but a well trained busy staff is a happy and loyal staff ? The restaurant side is very bright and could benefit maybe from some changes in decor ?? Again just an observation. For me it seemed like sitting in the bar area I felt part of things ..comfortable . The restaurant side..not so much ? At end ...please if nothing else have staff encourage patrons to post reviews here and on other sites as they visit Fitzy's. I had steak tips, which were placed on a plate with a big pile of mashed potatoes in the middle. Looked like a kindergarten project gone wrong. They need help. I keep coming back to Fitzy's hoping for some changes that make me WANT to come back more frequently then once a year. Today a simple order once again was screwed up and my sandwich was delivered to me wrong. Never fails my meal comes to me incorrectly, ok..I could possibly live with that as they did correct it very quickly. My issue today was my waitress looking at my party as dollar signs (her tip) We were asked more times then I can remember "Do you want an appetizer and then do you want dessert". I have no problem being asked but her tone was so pushy and when we declined it was like then please leave as you are taking up space too bad your not done chewing your meal. I just don't know about this place, I do like supporting the local smaller businesses, but this place is just fair and visiting often is not for me.
