Was disappointed when we ordered a few happy hour items and later found out that they didn't apply where we were seated. Small menu sitting on table had happy hour listed but I guess it said we had to be on patio or upstairs. Called restaurant the next day to question the bill and they explained this. We also ordered off the regular menu. The food was ok but the falafel burger was mushy. I guess it wasn't the best place to order something like that. There were 3 of us, the bill was 70 which included 2 beers and no floats. Don't want to sound cheap but we won't be going back. read more

Disappointing that the Mac and cheese for kids was literally Kraft Mac and cheese dry and unappetizing for 7.99. If you offer Mac and cheese at least try to make it good! The one time we've went that we were able to get a table the staff was very polite and the food was good. The selection of Fitz's soda was great. The other two times we tried to go we did the virtual waitlist and when we arrived we were told the wait would be 3x longer than the app said. read more

We were super excited to eat here. As a family of 9, they actually got us seated pretty quickly. They were a little slow to greet our table and get drinks started. The waitress did a great job keeping us with a cold root beer in hand. The food looked good. Plenty of it. But the burgers were super bland. The gumbo was gross. 5 stars for the fries and side of chili. The jumbo floats were good and easily shared by 2 people. The shakes were pretty small. This place has good service, good food and a fun atmosphere. I really like it. Although there's usually a short/medium wait to get a table. My only issue is they are a little pricey for a family restaurant. You will pay for a family of four, probably more than you'd like. Food was good. Shakes & floats are huge!!! Plan to spend some time here. There was a 20-30 minute wait on a Tuesday afternoon. Great family friendly restaurant. The food is great but remember that the portions are ginormous. However, the real reason to go to this restaurant is the fitz's bottles of soda pop. My all time favorite is the cream soda followed by root beer. And the ultimate root beer float is a must. You can't go wrong with any desert here. The kids will love watching the bottle works in the background and the parents will love the adult beverages. Most importantly go for the St Louis based Soda. It's fabulous! read more

This is a relatively new location but is more open and currently much less crowded than their location. Parking is also a lot easier. Best known for their huge ice cream floats of many flavors and their bottled sodas, Fitz's have great food plates that don't bust your budget. read more

Just like the Delmar location, the food is always better than we even expect (and I don't mean that as a bad thing!). Not worth the trip, we order an appetizer of fried pickles. They brought out the pickles and ice cream brownie at the same time. WHAT? The dinners were t even put on the table. Our experience was great thanks to our AMAZING server Georgia. We came to this location for our daughter's birthday and brought with us her 3 year old sister in the middle of a hysterical meltdown (restaurant patrons love that, I know). Georgia was the only person that could calm her down and bring peace to our meal. She went WAY above and beyond, being so patient and understanding to our crazy child and the rest of us. She turned our meal around and we had a great birthday night for our daughter; the kids loved the menu choices and all of our meals were good-- though I missed getting the delicious fried pickles! read more

We opted to sit at the bar and boy was that a mistake. The bar was covered in dishes and other supplies, making it a very unpleasant experience. The food and soda was what I expected. They had people packed In the entrance to the point you would have a 95% chance of catching covid from walking through. Would not recommend this fitz location. Our drinks and food came fast and everything was perfect for my birthday. Our first time for this restaurant was tonight when indoor dining is banned. We had salads. A Cobb and a Caeser. They were fresh and delicious. I have a gluten allergy and my salad was made with those precautions. Their menu indicates most items can be made gluten-free. We came to this location after we found out the Delmar location had a 45 min wait. When we arrived we were told it would be about 30 mins before we could be seated. There were tons of open tables but I guess they didn't have enough staff? After being sat we made our orders and food came out quickly. I usually do not complain and I understand with covid dining in is different, but our 30-35 minute wait turned into an hour and ten minute wait. Our server was more worried about the big table he had then serving us. Our appetizer never showed up and when asked about it he said he would cancel it. We informed him when we ordered it was our daughter's bday and he told her she would get a free float which he never offered again. My husband had to wave him down several times to get refills and felt like we were a bother to him. We planned on desserts, but was never offered so we decided to go elsewhere. read more
