Gina at Fitzgerald tile is the friendliest and most knowledgeable sales person. My first experience was overwhelming in their showroom, until I went another time and we were lucky enough to have Gina help with our purchase of tile for two bathrooms. She knew exactly what we wanted and was able to guide us in the right direction. She made the decision easy and not a stressful process. Gina was so good, we even went and had her assist in picking out a back splash for my parents' kitchen. It was as easy and stress free as the first time Gina waited on us, and she remembered who we were and greeted us with a smile. For tile I would highly recommend them; we came in with our plans and within 30 minutes Gina showed us a whole family of related tiles which my wife loved. Our contractor wanted us to go here and I wasn't looking forward to it based on the reviews I had read. I was so pleasantly surprised. They were so helpful and friendly. The place was swarming with children that were very annoying and I didn't see any of the staff loose their cool. We came home with many samples and will most likely purchase from here. They give you full size sample tiles which is very helpful. Maybe they have changed there attitude based on the negative reviews but we could not have been more satisfied with the service. read more

Customer service here sucks. I'm a contractor who does high end work. I was looking for a simple border or thinner bullnose tile for a backsplash. I was scoffed at before I could even really ask for what I was looking for and a standard white bullnose tile was shoved in my face and I was told, 'that's all we carry' as if I'm some kind of moron. DO NOT go here unless you're a builder who wears black framed glasses and drives a Mercedes van or you're a homeowner looking to spend thousands and have the appearance that lets the salesperson know this immediately. read more

I thought picking out our tile for our new kitchen would be difficult, but my sister in law goes to Fitzgerald Tile in Woburn and told me that they had a huge selection and the staff was extremely helpful. I loved her tile so I decided to go there. She was correct. They helped me select a beautiful porcelain tile from Italy for my floor and a Turkish travertine for my backsplash. They helped with the grout selection and explained how to maintain the travertine. Our beautiful floor and backsplash is now my favorite part of our new kitchen. I recently bought tile at Fitzgerald tile, after visiting the big box stores and not finding anything I liked. After picking out a tile we were helped by Gina who quickly coordinated 4 different tiles 12/12, 6/24 , beautiful glass tile and bullnose tile. Gina was experienced and knowledgeable about the tile. I have never gotten better help in any other store. I recommend Fitzgerald tile to anyone who is looking for tile or renovating a kitchen or bathroom. This if the fifth time I have purchased from Fitzgerald and it was, as usual, a great experience. This is our fifth major tile project and we were have a bit of a difficult time finding exactly what we want and we also live three hours away. My wife called and spoke to Stephanie who, with just a few words out of my wife's mouth, knew what we wanted and made suggestions including web sites to look at. The next day we drove the three hours to visit the show room. We were immediately greeted and were promptly introduced to Stephanie. She is very knowledgeable about their product line as well as installation tips. We left with samples and suggestions of grout. We are building a new home in seacoast New Hampshire and had many flooring and tile decisions to make. The task became much less daunting once we found Gina at Fitzgerald Tile, which has an expansive display of products. She exuded incredibly positive energy and showed a genuine interest in our project. As important as that was to us, her most impressive quality was her extensive understanding of the inventory coupled with a sense of style. She listened carefully to what our vision was for the various components and rooms, and then selected options that with few exceptions were exactly what we were looking for. She even took time to review wall paint considerations to make sure they worked with our selections. Throughout the process, however, she made sure that the decisions were truly ours and not hers. I had a very good experience, visiting Fitzgerald Tile recently for the first time. I have visited several tile stores over the last month and this place has the best selection and prices. It was crowded on a Saturday with a lot of customers but they had a lot of sales people too. Wayne helped me and he was very nice and knowledgeable. I wanted to browse on my own and I think he realized that instinctively so he just gave me a pad of paper and a pencil to take notes as I walked around. I came back with 3 tiles that I liked and he gave me samples on the spot. How nice! They have everything in stock too so there was no wait time, once I made my selection. Definitely visit this place before buying anywhere else. They are good and it is a no pressure environment. read more

I made a large tile purchase over the last month and was guided through the process with Andre. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and nice. He help me figure out exactly what I wanted, how much I needed and what I should expect from each product I bought. I would highly recommend using Fitzgerald Tile. We visited Fitzgerald Tile 3 times trying to pick the perfect tile for our backsplash. Our first visit was okay - we felt a little rushed. But the next 2 visits we dealt with Gina who was fabulous! I have had the best experiences at Fitzgerald Tile, thanks to Gina in the sales department. She has helped me with several projects over the last few months and she is exteremly knowledgeable, attentive to budget and very friendly. She knows the products in the store really well and makes excellent suggestions without pressuring you to make a decision. The store has samples of all of the tiles on display (actually tiled into the walls and floors) so you can get a good sense of what it will look like when actually used in your space. It's also very convenient that you can carry many of the products away with you the same day, as they have a warehouse in the back. My contractor recommended that I check out Fitzgerald tile in Woburn so I did. WELL I WOULD NEVER recommend this tile company to anyone. I was greeted kindly as I entered but other than that it was down hill from then on and on my own, I was looking for someone to really help me walk through the tile and show me samples of flooring that would match wall tile etc and Every time I had a question the sales staff would just answer the question with no follow up help! To make matters worse 2 sales non helpful sales associates snickering and talking about me behind my back, when I finally turned to look at them to see what was so funny to them, they immediately stopped and looked in the opposite direction. So I ask IS this how a tile company wants to run their business? Snickering and talking about potential customers? So with that being said I made sure when I got home I LET everyone know about my experience with this company family, friends, neighbors, and the contractor. Word of mouth seems to work doesn't it? If I was you and were thinking of buying from Fitzgerald tile do yourself a favor and check out other tile places, ask yourself do you really want to do business with a company that 1. worst customer service 2. poor selection 3. find better prices on the web and or another tile company 4. talks about you? What's so funny anyway? My money is not funny my money is just as green as everyone else's. My plans are to renovate 2 Bathrooms and a mud room with all new tile. My wife and I were shopping around for tile for our bathroom reno and we had heard that this place had a very large selection, so we decided to check it out. We could not believe how rude the people here were! They certainly do have an excellent variety of tiles to choose from, and the layout of the store is great with the different tiles being installed throughout the floor and on the walls, but it does not make up for the terrible customer service. We are a young couple, so that may be what provoked it, but all we received were snobby stares and brush offs. Not once did someone try to ask us if we needed help or were looking for anything in particular. When we finally asked someone else for a second of their time to ask about two different tiles, they told us they were busy (although they were just standing around) and then they approached a different customer and asked if they needed help! We ended up going to home depot and finding a tile for more than half the price that we loved. These people are ignorant and snobby, my suggestion is to head elsewhere. read more

For the record, this is my first review!!! I don't take the time to do these but I felt so strongly about the service I received, I had to share! Gina in the Sales Department is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! She is very helpful and accommodating. She truly goes out of her way to make sure you are happy with your purchases. She did not pressure me at all. Also, there was a product I needed to get my job done (which, was being worked and I literally had to make three stops within three hours to get all the product my guys needed!) and she made sure I was able to get that product when I needed it!! I can't say enough about how helpful she was! I loved my choices and am so happy with how everything came out on my project! I look forward to working with Gina again on my next job. Further, I thought the prices were pretty fair. The linear tile panels were $7 cheaper per sqft than another place I looked at. Excellent service and a great price! :) read more
