This location is only a franchise and not a real Fitness 19. I pay for premium membership with multi-club access as I am often on the road for work. I have used the fitness 19 gyms over the years at Palo Verdes, Covina, Claremont, HB and Hawaiian gardens (before they closed), Rancho Cucamonga, Jurupa Valley, Glendale and even Santa Barbara... This Pico Rivera location is the only one that excludes my membership and says they aren't part of the multi club membership because they are a franchise. Also beware of the high costs. Surprisingly this location is half the size of the "premium" fitness 19's but double the cost. Check for yourself I'm not a member of LA Fitness anymore but there's one down the road that would be more bang for your buck compared to here if you live in the area and are shopping gyms read more

It's now been almost a month since joining this gym. My wife and l had planet fitness for some years and were enjoying the location in Bellflower (where we used to live). Moved and are now in Pico Rivera and transferred to the PF in Whittier. We didn't care for it and decided to give Fitness 19 a try. First plus for us: the location. We are very close and love that it is nestled in between Target and Food4less. It's very convenient in case we need to buy something for that days dinner. Parking is never an issue either, which is awesome. We did the 5 day FreePass before joining and that was nice as well. Upon walking in, we got a tour and although smaller in comparison to PF, we liked the setup alot. The cardio machines facing the windows so you can be people/car watching as you're using them - check. The mirrored studio room so I can do my freeweight workout and watch my form as I'm doing it - check. Hardly ever having to wait for a machine out on the floor - check! All in all, we fell in love. The staff is nice, the machines are great, and the overall positive vibe is there. The gym never feels too packed either (probably because of the time we are there too, that may help). One slight downside but nothing crazy... The women's restroom is kinda dirty every time we go in to change. There seems to always be toilet paper on the floor. It definitely should be cleaned more often. And the locker room is smaaall, with only one bench to put your gym bag on when you are changing. No showers. Ps. #1 William is super nice, always makes one feel welcome and is super accommodating. Ps. #2 we use our earphones but I gotta say when a song ends and I hear the gym music playing in the background - it's some good stuff! Not the same ol generic radio music. Love my gym. It could be full and nobody bothers you. Plenty of equipment to get in a full workout no matter how busy it is. From a plethora of treadmills, to stairs and bikes, to all kinds of machines and free weights. Staff is friendly and helpful without being overly pushy. Facilities are clean and hours are the best you can get without being a 24 hour. Highly recommend for those in the area of Pico Rivera. read more

I highly recommend fitness 19 to all senior citizens. I am a 57 year old female who suffered a stroke in January of 2024. William instilled strength, motivation, and boosted my self confidence. He helps me build strength in my lower extremities and upper body. I am now able to walk without a limp, and I am able to stand up straight due to his personal training. Been going for 6 months & I couldn't be happier with my experience! Clean Facilities, access to latest machines and free weights. Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Currently getting personal training lessons with the trainer named Jason. Very supportive and very accommodating. Not to mention his knowledge on health and fitness is top notch; any questions I have he can easily give me advice and helps me to achieve my fitness goals. Manager is never in. I was unfortunately one of the accounts that got transferred after a Crunch in Ontario closed down. I Have had this memebership for a while and have never stepped foot inside. Ivey tried to cancel so many times. I am no longer (or was I ever) in the area of Pico Rivera and they say they can't cancel over the phone. Only managers can. And somehow everytime I call, no matter the time-- their manager, Daniel, isn't there. They continue to collect my membership fee every month and don't let me cancel it. I can't go in person because I am not in the area anymore and I've explained this multiple times to several employees and over emails. Still nothing. I used to work at a gym. I know they can cancel my membership but are refusing to.. super frustrating. Extremely unhappy with this company and service. read more

I've been coming to this gym since 2017 and the staff here has always been friendly and attentive! This gym is always cleaned and organized. Since the beginning of 2025, I meet with my trainers Will and Liana twice a week for our training sessions and they motivate and push me to go harder on my workouts and even gave me a meal plan to help me reach my goals. I love the gym and it is so close to my house. It's always pretty organized and clean. I hope no one hates me for this but I wish they were open later on the weekends too because they do close at 8pm. I also wish they had a sauna too and showers. This gym is great! I come for the Zumba class Monday- Saturday @ 8am. It has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. Joselín in the front is very nice and always helpful. Also, monthly fees are kept reasonable and affordable. I recommend you try it. read more

I wish I can give minus starts!! After stop coming to this club October 2022, finally cancel membership January 20th 2023, ten days later I have another charge of $74.99. Checked with the club and they said it was the last billing cycle. WTH!! After explained the Staff member why did I cancel he just gave me a business card with the General Manager to lay my concerns/complaints. Heads up this club is a franchise... I figure business owner don't care much since club still looks dirty and after reading so many reviews complaining about how dirty and nothing gets fixed???? I feel sorry for those suckers going there exposing themselves to many germs and dirty stuff. To top it off, staff members are beyond unprofessional, with sayings like... "you can do whatever you want to do sir" line they have already a lame script to what to say.. Have visited a few times with a guest pass and really want to like this gym but Its missing some basic amenities to make them comparable to like a Planet Fitness. Showers Non available in the men's restrooms and small locker room/ restroom stall availability. Towels/Cleaning There is just one station with paper towels for the entire gym. So most of the time machines are not being wiped before/after work out. They really need to install more cleaning stations/sprays for people to clean after their workouts. Machines Plenty of machines from what I can see as never saw the gym over crowded. Few machines broken with no signs on them and not sure if even the gym staff knows they are broken. --------------- I'm currently with planet fitness but not sure I am sold on changing gyms. read more

I hella enjoy coming into an empty gym compared to your average commercial fitness facilities. The crowd doesn't pick up until 5pm and their music is always on point! It's pretty clean and tidy with cleaning stations located everywhere. Price are dirt cheap and average $1 per day for members. I'm more than excited with my new purchase! Just joined this gym about a week ago and so far I'm enjoying it. It's a huge step up from working out in my backyard (like I've been doing the last few months). They have both indoor and outdoor workout areas and have a decent amount of equipment. I think they need to do a better job of spreading out the equipment and weights between inside and outside, however. It seems as if there aren't enough plates (45lbs) outdoors for everyone to go heavy. I'm a little bummed that they don't have a sauna or steam room, but I doubt we'd be able to use those given the current circumstances anyway. read more
