Brilliant's approach looked significantly more customized, and that's exactly what we needed to highlight key features in our home. Meeting Kate during the initial consult, it was clear that this was THE staging company we needed. She noted so many details throughout the house and yard, offered a wide variety of design suggestions, and was already thinking through strategies for each room. They were able to accommodate our need to still live in the house (with a dog), and their pricing was extremely competitive. Every dollar spent had an amazing return. Though we knew their team would do a superb job, we were still completely blown away by how the house presented when they were done! Colors, textures, wall art, furniture and rug selection, and even angles of decor all worked cohesively to make our house inviting for all who toured. We know that market timing had a lot to do with our listing's high interest, but we're absolutely certain that Brilliant Staging's work was what captured these numerous buyers' interest, first in the online photos and video, then in person when they toured, and hours and days later for the multiple buyers who loved imagining themselves in our house and prepared to write their offer.

They provided guidance, creativity, and follow-up every step of the way. Their computer-generated kitchen plans and visual images were very helpful in assuring us that the design they described is what we wanted and in the price range we were looking for. Adrian was our assigned on-site contractor. He was phenomenal to work with. His knowledge, skill, reliability, and "easy-to-work-with" personality made the process from demo to project signoff a smooth and stress-free experience. Adrian and Vered never let any unforeseen or unexpected situation alter or delay project progress. They worked together to offer solutions and resolution in a timely manner. Adrian and one or two other helpers did most of the work themselves, so we were never waiting on subcontractors. The project started on time and finished on schedule. We could not have been more pleased with the results. We are very happy to have selected Lux Design Builds and highly recommend them for your upcoming remodel.

I can't say enough good things about All New Again…read more We had two properties both hit by water damage near the beginning of 2024. All new again helped clean the water out when it was rushing into our home, moved all our stuff out, did complete remediation, documentation, and rebuild to our specifications. The documentation was especially important because our homeowners insurance did not want to pay. Documentation All New Again created was instrumental in proving the loss to insurance, and saved us from several pitfalls which would have resulted in us having to pay entirely out of pocket had we gone with a remediation provider that was less full-service. Amir, Vas, Alex, Vlad and Igor were our rebuilding team, and they did a great job returning our Bothell house to its exact original condition, as well as building our Kenmore house back to our specifications. We were presented with clear options, pricing, and the end result was fantastic. Johnny, Ryan, and Noah worked on our remediation. This was handled with care and attention to detail that held on to the value of our house and completely out-classed the thinking of our insurance inspectors, who seemed wholly uninterested in helping. Johnny even walked our insurance adjusters through the property to explain to them what happened. The remediation team produced much of the documentation that we are now relying on in negotiation with our insurance. Orfa and Nora Packed and moved all our stuff out, and then back in at the end. We didn't have to unpack or pack any boxes at all! Our stuff just was where it was before, it was like magic. John and Gary both helped us understand what next steps looked like when insurance pushed back and refused to pay. Though All New Again could not be our lawyers or advise us directly, they did educate us so that we were prepared to advocate for ourselves and hire lawyers when that became necessary. John and Gary's combination of experience and connections were invaluable to our process with insurance.

She built everything out from there in a way that felt cohesive, elevated, and still deeply personal to us. Her communication, efficiency, sourcing, and design aesthetic are truly outstanding. She handled a large, complex project with impressive speed and attention to detail, and the end result exceeded our expectations. What stands out most is how livable and enjoyable the space is. We've hosted many gatherings since moving in, and both we and our guests consistently appreciate the design. We've received countless compliments from friends and family, and it's genuinely a pleasure to experience her work every day. We wouldn't hesitate to work with Gwen again and are already looking forward to the opportunity!

I found Gwenn on an internet search. I interviewed a few other designers but hired Gwen after her receiving her detailed follow-up email from the initial visit. In that email she clearly articulated a vision for how my house should be furnished and accessorized. I was sold: "Based on what I gathered from you and your home, I imagine the design of your space would fall somewhere in the realm of warm contemporary, comfy, understated but a touch swanky, masculine, PNW natural / rustic. Neutral and subdued colors, varied natural textures, layered and homey, soulful. Furnished with timeless and quality elements that could work in future homes too." Gwen has executed on the vision perfectly all the while taking my feedback and taste into consideration. Gwen selected furniture, carpets, lighting, art, plants, and décor for my office, living room, bonus room, master bedroom, kitchen, outdoor patio, and hallways. She helped me accessorize my kitchen with all new cookware, knives, silverware, gadgets, etc. Saying that Gwen selected all of these items does not do justice to her work. The pieces selected were of the highest quality. Quality observable to the eye and to the touch. Most the pieces selected are themselves a work of art that give me joy just to look at daily. Some of the pieces were custom made to be the perfect fit for the space. Gwen found the craftspeople and helped design these custom pieces. Gwen was a consummate professional throughout the entire process. She did all the coordination of ordering and deliveries. Gwen found electricians to install the lighting and spent all day here making sure that a custom light fixture was installed. Her punctuality is something that I must comment on because when she told me that she would be at my house at a certain time I could set my watch to her arrival. I sincerely appreciated this punctuality because I believe it speaks volumes to how she cares about her clients and her craft. All of this work and sourcing was during COVID shutdowns when lead times on furniture exploded which made the project more difficult. All of the accounting and billing was online and easily accessible. In summary, Gwen designed the spaces in my home in a way that bring a smile to my face ever day. She did all of the work and minimized the amount of effort needed by me. I couldn't be happier with the result.

After living in the home for over 21 years, it certainly needed something substantially different. There were some things about the original design of the home that had to go. After having the kick-off meeting, reviewing my wish list, meeting with Ken and then Shana, they were able to come up with a perfect new plan right away. Pretty sure Shana just read my mind, since I wasn't entirely sure what I was looking for. The design phase was fun, selecting materials and reviewing plans and specs. The attention to detail was spot-on. Moving through demo and construction is what it is (not the most fun) but I was fortunate to meet some individuals that were fun to work with, thought outside of the box for some last minute solutions and truly wanted to make my project a success. They certainly did all of that. I love my new spaces on the main level, enamored with the sleek, open and efficient kitchen and lovely refresh in the powder room, laundry room, entry, family room, living and dining rooms. All of the EH team reached out during the process to make sure things were moving ahead to my satisfaction. And if things were not, there was a near immediate course/detail correction. We took this in stages because we still needed to reside in the house during construction. NWHPs worked smoothly with everyone involved (designer, engineer, building inspector etc), and introduced us to some incredible sub-contractors, plumbing and electrical being high on the list (full disclosure ~ I built spec-houses in the 90's). Patrick's eye to detail is unsurpassed. He can see an awry 1/64th of an inch from across a room. His advice is solid and sound. We ended up replacing, rather than trying to salvage, parts of the kitchen oak floor (not part of our contract with NWHP, but with our own flooring guy) at Patrick's urging. He was right! This was not a project to patch the floor. Patrick, obviously, is extremely busy and gave us the time we needed on our site, and the phone to make us feel confident both with our choices and how the job was proceeding. He is also very personable, fun and easy to get along with. NWHP's main finish carpenter and cabinet whisperer, Alex, is a pleasure to work with. I don't know if there's anything he can't do. When the (island) cabinet's arrived, without absolutely correct sized finish pieces (after supply chain delays and a custom color...), Alex made it work! He made sure our interior vacuum returns were rerouted (something I stressed about) before walls were closed up, did amazing custom cabinet work in order for our (reused) cooktop and (new) oven to cohabitate, coached me on how I could help forward the project using materials we had on sight, and is also kind, respectful, and a delightful human. We then sent requests for bids to Blind Alley, WesCo and WindowWares. BlindAlley and Costco was by far the most expensive (even our realtor thought it was too much). WesCo and WindowWares were more competitively priced (WindowWares was actually cheaper by a couple hundred dollars). We spent a couple of hours in WesCo and WindlowWare's showrooms. Both sales people were knowledgeable. We liked WesCo because the sales person was honest in determining our needs. The sales person at WindoWares was more passive, but presented us with the details that we needed to make our decision. In the end, we took some of the recommendations from WesCo and purchased our blinds from WindowWares (mostly because of the price). Measurements. I think one of the owners of WindowWares came out to do the measurements. He made some very good recommendations as to color, placement of cords, and types of window coverings. Time. It took approximately 3 weeks to order the blinds. I think this might be standard, even if a company calls themself 3-day blinds. Installation. Installation took a few hours, as it was just one person installing +20 window coverings. Cons.
