I can't say enough good things about All New Again. We had two properties both hit by water damage near the beginning of 2024. All new again helped clean the water out when it was rushing into our home, moved all our stuff out, did complete remediation, documentation, and rebuild to our specifications. The documentation was especially important because our homeowners insurance did not want to pay. Documentation All New Again created was instrumental in proving the loss to insurance, and saved us from several pitfalls which would have resulted in us having to pay entirely out of pocket had we gone with a remediation provider that was less full-service. Amir, Vas, Alex, Vlad and Igor were our rebuilding team, and they did a great job returning our Bothell house to its exact original condition, as well as building our Kenmore house back to our specifications. We were presented with clear options, pricing, and the end result was fantastic. Johnny, Ryan, and Noah worked on our remediation. This was handled with care and attention to detail that held on to the value of our house and completely out-classed the thinking of our insurance inspectors, who seemed wholly uninterested in helping. Johnny even walked our insurance adjusters through the property to explain to them what happened. The remediation team produced much of the documentation that we are now relying on in negotiation with our insurance. Orfa and Nora Packed and moved all our stuff out, and then back in at the end. We didn't have to unpack or pack any boxes at all! Our stuff just was where it was before, it was like magic. John and Gary both helped us understand what next steps looked like when insurance pushed back and refused to pay. Though All New Again could not be our lawyers or advise us directly, they did educate us so that we were prepared to advocate for ourselves and hire lawyers when that became necessary. CONTRACT SAYS: "Customer agrees to pay All New Again a Project Manager Fee of $3,500 as reasonable damages in the event Customer fails to use All New Again as its Contractor of Choice to perform the Work in accordance this Agreement." THEY PUSH YOU TO SIGN THE CONTRACT ON THE FIRST CALL, WITHOUT EVEN GIVING YOU ANY WRITTEN ESTIMATE. Bad experience started with initial call with Amir, where before even starting any discussion he asked me to sign the agreement (attached) it took him 14 days to come just for an estimate. I thought having such high rating, they will be most polite and knowledgeable person to work with, but I was wrong. They may be knowledgeable of how it all works with insurance, but they will get the money from you, and ultimately it will be your responsibility to deal with insurance, and their contract says nowhere they will deal with insurance directly for the bill. Also they won't give you an estimate with line items, until you signed their contract, and only high level numbers which you can't just submit to insurance. Giving those high level numbers took Amir another 2 weeks. The funny part is, the estimate for 2 times more than all the other 11 estimates I was able to get in meantime. Such a waste of time, be aware of these kind of scamming contracts. Update to Business Response on 2022 Oct 17th: Could you please care to explain how I tried to cheat All New Again??? LOL!! Take me to the court if I did, and I will reply you there. This shows how lowly you could be to grab the money. Bottom line: These are pros that haven't lost sight of the customer's needs - would happily hire again. At the time of this review, I was in contract for a piece of property in Everett, WA. During the inspection it was discovered that there was quite a bit of water under one of the toilets. Some of the flooring in the kitchen was so beat up it was getting into the structure. I was having trouble getting a hold of a regular handyman, so I gave All New Again a call. It's a really down to earth business. The owner personally came to see the site. He had all the necessary equipment to quickly ascertain what the issue was, and gave me both advice, and a quote. Here's the interesting bit - in the end he suggested for the light work I needed done, that I go with a cheaper service. All New Again saved me both time and money, while ostensibly, I wasted theirs. My family suffered a severe attic fire early in the year. I was unfamiliar with home insurance claims and was told to find my own contractor by my carrier. I pored over several companies and hundreds of reviews before giving All New Again a call. I was pleasantly surprised to get a call back from the CEO himself, Jon, who told me he personally manages all fire projects due to their complexity, and he would be happy to help restore my home. Insurance and contractors all agreed the house would be a gut to studs - a daunting and expensive project that would take around 12 months. We chose All New Again for structural fire and smoke remediation but not for contents cleaning or pack out. At the time of my loss, ANA did not offer their own storage facility and I didn't want to have to source my own storage company while dealing with everything else. That was a mistake. My contents contractor caused headaches and I imagine using ANA for contents as well would've made things smoother in the end. Unfortunately, we ran into trouble with my insurance carrier not wanting to pay the bill for hazardous remediation work. Thankfully ANA provides impeccable documentation with each invoice during remediation, making it very hard for the carrier to actually dispute on any factual grounds. It took longer than we wanted, but I was able to eventually get approval for what I needed to rebuild. If there has one thing that has stood out working with Jon Baer these past several months, it's communication. He is the most effective, thorough, and transparent communicator of any contractor I've ever worked with. A fire loss is scary. Dealing with insurance can be overwhelming. Dealing with a general contractor can be intimidating. Jon has been there to help the whole way to soothe my doubts, and answer any stupid questions I have. If I have concerns or questions about the work he addresses them immediately, and if follow-up with a subcontractor is necessary, he will do so and get back to me in a timely fashion. If I ask him a question he doesn't know the answer to, he finds out and gets back to me. I've been insecure about minor things and asked him to check on them, and he re-confirms details for me without complaint. Their tagline "Start as strangers, finish as friends" isn't for nothing! On the rebuild side of the project, he built up an excellent understanding of the pre-loss condition of my home - materials, finishes, almost every detail - and provided a fixed price bid to rebuild with like kind and quality construction and materials. I was anxious early on about insurance coverage as costs started to add up, but Jon assured me from the beginning that All New Again could take care of me within my available limits - and he stuck to his word. As rebuild began and we started locking down specific choices and materials, Jon was very patient with navigating my stupid questions about "what are my options for new windows, anyway?", or "what are the different types of exterior paints?". As questions have arisen about upgrades and what defines "like kind and quality" for my previous construction, he's dealt with me fairly and honestly and his costs for upgrades have been reasonable. We're in the middle of MEP rough-in now and continuing to navigate the process together. My experience with All New Again has been nothing but perfection. My husband had carefully selected All New Again after reading several positive reviews online and we are so grateful for our choice. My father's house flooded after the frigid weather pnw experienced in January of 2024, there was more than six inches of water flooding almost half of the main floor. The damage was extensive and it was a very big project. We were beyond stressed out about the damage and had absolutely no idea what we were dealing with. We met Johnny first and he immediately made us feel better, he was honest and detailed about the damage but let us know that they would take care of everything. The crew came in and started packing up all my dad's belongings, carefully wrapping up anything fragile and then boxing up everything. Then the demolition and repairs began, they actually found some asbestos in the bathroom and took care of everything, ripping up tons of floor tile, carefully maintaining the kitchen cabinets and moving them into the garage, etc. Moving to the next stage of reconstruction, we met our contractor Amir who also gave us a very honest and detailed description of what we needed in order to get the house back to normal. ANA was great to work with. We started out with needing some mold repair done due to a burst exterior water faucet due to the very cold winter. It leaked into the kitchen walls. The project manager Dakota did a great job walking us through and the team quickly demo'd and removed the mold. They gave great explanations for what was happening. We then used ANA to do the cabinet and wall repair. They came back with a price under the insurance estimate (which is rare and unheard of really). We didn't want to redo the entire kitchen so we just asked for an attempt to match the cabinets, which they did a great job with. The entire team (Albert, Aleksander, Vasily, and Serhii) did good work. The cabinet maker they worked with were really backlogged and it took a while to complete the cabinets, but overall, Albert (project manager) kept us in the loop as to what was going on. The guy did not show up on our first estimate appointment - when I called and left a message, I eventually (after a few days) got a call saying he moved his schedule and someone should have "taken care of" that appointment. Ok, so I agreed to meet up a couple of weeks later, only on this appointment he was over 30 minutes late and didn't even call to let me know -- I was the one who called and asked why he didn't show up (again), then was told he'll be there shortly. Eventually this guy Jon or John showed up and looked around, took measurements, saying he'll send me the quote in a few days. So I waited, after a week, 2 weeks-- nope, never ever heard from him again. So I would absolutely NOT recommend this company. I was referred to Jon at all new again by the water damage people that came to repair the plumbing after a pipe burst in my parents home. I couldn't be more happy with the job that all new again did! They completely gutted and repaired the entire downstairs which was ruined by the water damage. The place looked amazing! Jon's interior design background was a tremendous help when it came time to select the tiles, sink, carpet...etc. The place looks better than it did prior to the damage! Also, they found an area that was growing mold and tore it out and replaced the wall at no extra charge.
