And they were able to schedule me 2 weeks later. The job took about a week. (The plaster repair requires building up layers and letting them dry at the end of the day). I was told when they bid on the job that I might be able to tell after the job was done where the repair was. But for the most part once I painted I can't really tell. My home was protected with drop cloths each day. It was a very tidy process. In addition to the holes they also cleaned up around outlets and light fixtures. I am so thrilled with the results. We worked with Natali and Yair for our condo kitchen and bathroom renovations. It was a superb…read moreexperience. The initial estimate they provided was over the budget for us. Natali worked very hard to get the price down to something within our budget. Natali guided us in purchasing the materials, she walked us through the options and what would work. The end result speaks for itself. Renovations with condos are more difficult, as HOA rules needs to be followed. We did not hear any complaints or need to talk to building manager at all. Yair took care of dealing with the HOA and his workers all followed the HOA rules. The project finished on time, and looks fantastic. Yair patiently explains what he is doing and why it is done that way. We really appreciated that transparency. Yair often said he wants us to feel comfortable with our home, and by the end of the project we believed that. As with any project, there were some minor issues and difficulties. Yair and Natali were very understanding of our problems and always helped fix the issues. It saved us a lot of stress and headaches knowing that we can count on Yair and Natali. Dec 16, 2020, Hired Mike Howard to repair structural damaged to my home caused by extensive dry rot…read moredamage. This was not a trivial job. The dry rot had compromised a main structural corner beam which supported the second story. The repair would first require building a temporary support to hold up the second story while removing the damaged support beam and replacing all of the dry rot wood. The repair process required first coordinating with a structural engineer to design a repair plan and then with the Snohomish County office to issue a repair permit. Mike was very helpful through the entire process. Mike was confident that he could perform the repair safely and within code without an engineering drawing, but suggested that the drawing would likely be required for the county to issue the permit. I decided to get the engineering drawing and Mike was right. The county flat out said that this repair required an engineering review and drawing. I told Mike I would hire him for the job, but only after I saw and understood what the repair plan entailed. Mike met with the engineer to discuss the repair job and then Mike outlined for me exactly how he would complete the repair. While listening to Mike explain the repair process it was apparent to me that he completely understood the structural design of a home. Having a contractor with this type of experience and knowledge was the only way I would go. Mike was a pleasure to work with. He answered all of my questions with integrity and no BS. I decided to take the 2 days off to watch the work performed. Mike had no issues with this. He discussed the work while it was in process and I always felt comfortable with his decisions and confidence. The work was done in accordance to the engineering drawing and the permit was signed off and closed without any issues. The images show the before and after work, minus the exterior wall board nailed up. I decided to repair the drywall and brickwork myself. Thanks for a wonderful job and experience Mike.

These guys are the most responsive I have ever dealt with. They have finished the deck to MY specifications & it is fabulous. We were initially recommended to a few contractors that specialized in restoration from leaks but started to feel uncomfortable with the process and like they were all trying to take advantage of us via the insurance claim. A neighborhood Facebook group pointed us to Chermak with consistent reports of them having great service, but also a fair price and staying on time and on budget. I was quickly connected to Angel the project manager and she was able to come out to our house that week for an inspection. She immediately built trust with us and showed a genuine care for wanting to get us back into our home (we had been out already for 3 months). We trusted our gut and quickly got to work with Angel and Chermak and getting the ball rolling on the scope of work to be done and approved by our insurance company. And to risk the obvious pun here, Angel was an Angel, there's no way this would have gone how it did without her, for all that she manages and does she's very efficient and good at her job and really absorbs a lot of the stress and difficulty that is common to this kind of work. She also was very reasonable with us in not upselling, offering suggestions where things could be easier or money better spent, which helped with our trust. Fast forward to the working starting EARLY (which was a good thing) and not only completing on time but even a week EARLY than what was planned, so exciting for us. Kim from the design team helped us get our plans together for the bathrooms to achieve what we really wanted out of them and set the plans in place. Tyler was our GC for the 8 weeks of restoration and I selfishly don't want to tell everyone how good he is because then everyone will want him. We were concerned about having so many people in our home and around our stuff, but he so quickly made us feel comfortable and was adopted into the family. He also really listened to us and understood our wants, needs and particular requests as the bathrooms were constructed, he knew it was important to us things be done the right way and was willing to take the time to see it through. He's also just an all-around good dude and we miss having him here. I've given many referrals since our job wrapped to other prospective clients for Chermak and we intend to hire them again when it's time to remodel our kitchen. Our job was not without any issues but they were determined to do the right thing and see us be happy with the end result, which is a really great experience in this kind of arrangement. Customer service goes a long way and is often worth paying for and we are so happy with our new bathrooms. Thank you Chermak team!

The discs are supposed to be installed below the frost line--NOT ON TOP OF THE GROUND. Also, in many places, the posts they used are not even connected to the beams. Either this company is completely incompetent and unaware of basic industry standards, or they knew and did this work anyway. Whatever you do, stay away from this company.
