Over the span of three months, he oversaw the demolition of the house, removing two load bearing walls as well as all of the flooring and bathrooms (tub, toilets, vanities). I would give Simon a 6-star rating if that was an option. His demeanor as head contractor was always calm, respectful and considerate. He guided me through the process of selecting new floors, appliances, fixtures, and a completely new HVAC system. Simon's subcontractors were all very friendly and professional. It appears that he is very careful in who he hires for his remodels. All aspects of their work met my approval in quality. It with great pleasure and confidence that I recommend Simon and his crew to undertake any kitchen, bath and home remodeling that a customer might desire!

April 2025 Seattle, WA…read more Why we chose to work with Simon: 1) We gathered about a dozen estimates. Simon was one of two contractors who offered bids within our budget. 2) Simon spent a full hour exploring the space and asking questions. All other bids completed only a cursory look of the space, and failed to notice details that needed consideration. Simon pointed out a lot of things that were important for us to understand before moving forward with the project. Simon also said that estimate would take a couple of days to fine tune (versus other contractors who seemed to just throw out a number). 3) Simon immediately came across as a person with integrity and good communication skills. Our experience with Simon and his team: 1) Impeccable communication throughout the process. No leaving us in the dark, and always responsive to our questions. Simon responds to texts and emails right away. 2) Consistent work schedule. Once the project started, his team was at the house for 10 hours daily, 5 to 6 days per week. No disappearing acts. 3) Excellent team - Incredibly skilled with attention to detail. The team is also polite and conscientious. 4) Design skills - Rather than hire a separate designer, Simon and his team were meticulous in making sure the design details and colors were aligned with our 1904 house architecture. 6) Beautiful results -- We now have a renovated, upscale master bathroom that even has a custom vanity. I was so happy with the outcome that I also hired his team to replace our 120-year old wood floors. Our house has not only been transformed into an elegant space but we were able to keep both projects to a budget that was less than what most contractors estimated for just the bathroom project! We fully intend to hire Simon again for future projects!

They never answered the response and we never received anything. It certainly looks like they do good work, but we didn't get to find out. The job was too small for their time if I had to guess.

The project manager, Roman, was also very friendly, did a good job keeping us in the loop, and focused on making sure we were happy with work as it was done. A few unexpected things came up, as they often do with old homes like ours, and Roman did an excellent job communicating them to us and getting our input before proceeding. The crew was friendly, on-time, and did excellent work. Overall, we are very happy with how the project turned out and the experience we had with Exterior Crew.

We contacted Chermak when our bathrooms were destroyed during a massive water leak in our home and…read morewe were dealing with a huge insurance claim. We were initially recommended to a few contractors that specialized in restoration from leaks but started to feel uncomfortable with the process and like they were all trying to take advantage of us via the insurance claim. A neighborhood Facebook group pointed us to Chermak with consistent reports of them having great service, but also a fair price and staying on time and on budget. I was quickly connected to Angel the project manager and she was able to come out to our house that week for an inspection. She immediately built trust with us and showed a genuine care for wanting to get us back into our home (we had been out already for 3 months). We trusted our gut and quickly got to work with Angel and Chermak and getting the ball rolling on the scope of work to be done and approved by our insurance company. And to risk the obvious pun here, Angel was an Angel, there's no way this would have gone how it did without her, for all that she manages and does she's very efficient and good at her job and really absorbs a lot of the stress and difficulty that is common to this kind of work. She also was very reasonable with us in not upselling, offering suggestions where things could be easier or money better spent, which helped with our trust. Fast forward to the working starting EARLY (which was a good thing) and not only completing on time but even a week EARLY than what was planned, so exciting for us. Kim from the design team helped us get our plans together for the bathrooms to achieve what we really wanted out of them and set the plans in place. Tyler was our GC for the 8 weeks of restoration and I selfishly don't want to tell everyone how good he is because then everyone will want him. We were concerned about having so many people in our home and around our stuff, but he so quickly made us feel comfortable and was adopted into the family. He also really listened to us and understood our wants, needs and particular requests as the bathrooms were constructed, he knew it was important to us things be done the right way and was willing to take the time to see it through. He's also just an all-around good dude and we miss having him here. I've given many referrals since our job wrapped to other prospective clients for Chermak and we intend to hire them again when it's time to remodel our kitchen. Our job was not without any issues but they were determined to do the right thing and see us be happy with the end result, which is a really great experience in this kind of arrangement. Customer service goes a long way and is often worth paying for and we are so happy with our new bathrooms. Thank you Chermak team!

I want to specifically mention the team that worked on the place since I'm so happy with the job. AnJanette oversaw things and walked me through the job, Gary did a phenomenal job doing the initial assessment and recon, Jack, Craig, Chris, Carson, and John did the work and painting. I don't know enough about the details to give specifics of who did what, but it was all done really, really well and I am ecstatic about it. Adrian was our assigned on-site contractor. He was phenomenal to work with. Lyle is a true professional who was easy to work with, gave us good advice and whom we trust implicitly. The job started with removal of the old tile by the front door. This is a noisy and dirty process, but we weren't bothered at all, as the work was done while we were out of town. We returned to a beautiful new slate entry. We also had linoleum laid at the bottom landing which leads to the garage. They did a very nice job where the linoleum meets the furnace. Care was taken to trim the material around the gas line and other piping. Speaking of garage, one of the springs on the garage door broke when a crew member was gaining access into the house. He kindly fixed that for us, which saved us the headache of arranging repair while we were on vacation. A month later, we left town again and arranged to have Interior Floor Designs finish the job. We had the lower set of stairs rebuilt with new treads and risers and the upper set of stairs sanded and stained. Lyle's crew did a super job tenting off the stairwell and we detected no migration of dust into the living room area adjacent to that area. The sanding and staining was done with no damage to walls/paneling. We are so happy at how well the two sets of stairs match in terms of wood choice and color. We are very grateful to Lyle and his crew for such good craftsmanship. We left our home in their very capable hands twice and have no regrets; only praise for their skill, care, attention to detail and trustworthiness. We wholeheartedly recommend Interior Floor Designs.

They completed a project I'd been wanting to do for years - removing a wall to open up the space between my kitchen and the rest of the living area - and it completely transformed my home! From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive. The entire project was completed in just one week from start to finish. The whole team was kind, hardworking, and paid close attention to every detail. Whenever I had a question or concern, they were happy to address it. The only thing I would call out is that they sometimes worked outside of the usual work hours (up to 8/9pm) - but I'm sure you could discuss timing expectations. I would absolutely recommend Luxury Construction to anyone looking for a reliable contractor. I'm thrilled with the results!

After a previous bad experience with another contractor, working with Sergei was like night and day. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
