After booking my appointment weeks in advance (he couldn't get me in sooner than that?), he was a COMPLETE NO-SHOW. Apparently, even my texting him earlier on the same day of that first missed appointment didn't make him realize that we had an appointment that day. After he didn't show, I called him, & he rescheduled for the very next day (why did it take him weeks to get me in before?). And then he canceled the SECOND appointment an hour or two before the appointment window was ending, so effectively, a no-show 2 days in a row. (I had taken 2 days off work for him.) He told me he "didn't do" the floor repairs I needed an estimate of, though he had scheduled me for exactly that in the first place, & prior to the FIRST missed appointment, he already had photos of my flooring. Then he never texted back after just telling me he wouldn't help me. His communication was consistently slow or absent. One of the worst parts was that when I wrote a complaint about him on Yelp, he had the nerve to reply & say he had never heard of me & that we had never done business together, not realizing I've got ALL the receipts--incoming & outgoing phone calls to his phone number, and texts showing exactly what he said to me & when he said it--he even signed his name to those texts. When I called him out on his outright lies, telling him I could prove it, he literally immediately deleted & rewrote his reply to me to be all sweet and apologetic, which REPLACED the answer where he basically called me a liar & said he had no idea who I was and that we had never been in contact. (He replied that to someone else awhile back, too. Makes me think that was a lie as well.) Ilya is a DOUBLE NO-SHOW, an outright liar, & a real piece of work. SUPER shady. If i could give Olek and his crew 10 stars i would. His crew does excellent work and pay attention to detail. They are prompt, courteous and on time. They are honest in their pricing and never upcharge. My only hesitation in writing this review is my concern that, because of all the excellent reviews City Bee will get to busy for me. HIRE them. You won't regret it. I feel so lucky to have found them. And, after completing multiple projects at my home, there is not a single negative thing i can say about them.

What an amazing experience we had with City Bee Deck & Railing! Not only did they install a beautiful custom made railing on my interior stairs and the bridge that connects both sides of my upstairs, they also coordinated with their subcontractor, Prymych Home Services, to replace my carpeting with LVP flooring. City Bee ran both the railing and flooring projects so I had one quote, one contract and one project manager. Their price was very competitive, they did high quality work, and they finished in a timely manner. Oleksandr, the owner, project managed everything and made himself available all throughout the project. He was very responsive to all my questions and provided thorough answers so I could understand the technical aspects of the work. Have always received good reliable advice and recommendations from different staffs on tiles, LVP's and carpet. It has been several years we are still SUPER PLEASED with the amazing Italian tiles we used for our woodstove hearth and the laminate vinyl planks for my kitchen floor. The kitchen floor is slightly sloped in an uneven way the guy who helped us knew his LVPs and he even used the same product and answered all our concerns for the slope issue. Several years later, the LVP is still on perfectly and you couldn't tell there's a slope on the floor. The one he suggested sidestepped the problem and he was right! As for the Italian tiles, we get so many compliments on our wood stove area and we used the tile remnant for some homemade furniture piece for a friend it turned out so gorgeous. They have some really cool designs that most places don't have. They let us really take the time to decide too I never feel pressured here they are so laid back. Prices are very decent here too! This is something we refuse to buy online or at chain hardware stores. We came to learn the product you get here is way more superior and inadvertently, you end up getting good tips and advice since we install ourselves. We haven't been back for awhile and the staff remembered my husband. He could sense we just wanted to browse so we just took our sweet time and the staffs didn't hover over us. When we are good and ready, they were beyond helpful. Today, we were just there for carpet remnants for our stepvan remodel. They have a decent selection and what really prompt me to write the review was how COMPLETELY FLOORED we were when they told us the price. Probably less than what I would of paid online. It's 1/4 of what I had in mind so you get the picture! For the amazing deal, I am thinking why not redo the living room carpet!
