In reality, there is no indication of matcha outside of the color. If I didn't know that there was supposed to be matcha in it, I would have attributed the color to something like kale alone. It wasn't bad, but it definitely is not what is advertised. Something I was also baffled about was the general poor service. The cashier didn't know what was in the smoothie when I made sure it was dairy free, and it was exponentially slow considering that I was the only person there. I can attribute both of those to training issues, but there's also the matter of the topic of conversation very loudly being held by the employees, which kind of ruined the vibes.

Great Downtown Juice location. They are very vegetarian and fruit oriented with acai bowls,…read moresmoothies and juices. I'm doing keto so you have to request subs, and only coconut water, coconut milk, and almond milk options for smoothies. There were no issues with subs and staff was very friendly, helpful and understanding. It was a little after noon on a weekday late summer, and there were few people there so it was very calm and quiet. There are a few inside tables and a counter facing the street, so a little limited in seating but sufficient for the customers. Very mellow, and health oriented. I wish they could lean a little more keto and have at least one or two options, as healthy can mean a variety of things. Specifically, whole milk would be good. I would return for smoothies if downtown.
