    Bow Wow Bowl
    Helena W.

The only reason this place is getting 4 starts is the horribly slow service. It took more than 10 minutes to order, even though I was the only person in line. Then it took another 15 minutes to make my bowl. The bowl itself was colorful, right amount of sweet and delicious. Also got a Bow Wow cup for our husky, this was a big hit. The sign outside had many specials listed. Will make sure to come back for one of these soon. Decent outdoor seating.

Stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon. The place was not busy. Didn't get an acknowledgement when I walked in. I ordered the Beach Bowl with strawberries. The first few spoonfuls were good and cold but once the fruit and granola was gone, the Açaí didn't have any flavor. It was hard to finish the bowl. The restaurant was decorated cool. They need to clean the restroom and wipe off the tables.

I did not like it however it could be good for you! Huge variety. So all good there. Not a place to stay and hang out. Too noisy when they make a drink. Cannot talk at all. One size. Good to also get a spoon. Very thick.

I tried this place because it was a Yelp Elite event. I couldn't find the event page so I'm posting to the business page. I brought my partner along. There are so many options here and they all look really good. We stood there for about 10min trying to decide what we wanted. I finally went with the beach bowl with blueberries and chocolate chips for toppings. My partner went with the Dali smoothie. The fruit bowls are done differently. Instead of placing all the fruits into a bowl, topping it with the various toppings, and then handing it to you, the fruits are blended together, and then topped. So you're basically eating mashed up fruit with the consistency of ice cream. It's pretty ingenious. And it is surprisingly filling. I was full after eating about 90% of my bowl. I would definitely return and try a different bowl.

I came here because it was on my way however wasn't expecting much because of the negative reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The bowl I got was one of their favorites (the menu indicates which bowl is a top seller) the chai mystique and I loved it !!!! It's not too sweet and was incredibly refreshing. It came out extremely quick and service was great. There is indoor and outdoor seating although not much indoor seating. The ambience is very casual. The only thing is it's a bit on the expensive side. Including tip, I paid about $13 for a bowl that was pretty small. I'm definitely going to come back to try new flavors !

Some of the things i enjoy about Rush Bowls -Its quick and easy but also all my friends with dietary restrictions ( gluten, dairy free, vegan, etc)can enjoy something here. As a mother, I'm super thankful for this place. They have Blended fruit bowls and smoothies but they have blended fruit bowls for KIDS! I have sensitive teeth so i tend to get a smoothie. One of the staff let me know that any bowl can be turned into a smoothie and vice versa Nothing is more stressful than finding a place that accommodates to all that and is healthy. They might not serve any beverages but they are always happy to provide a cup of cold water if you ask! I see other people talking about no toppings but they all come with granola and honey on top? Seating area is on the smaller side but there are still tables out the patio. Looking forward to trying more of the menu!

I also love that the menu strives to be locally sourced. The food is very fresh! The service from the counter is fairly fast, which was especially great for us, as we were short on time. This time ordered the Simply Eggy Breakfast. The marmalade was unique and the eggs were perfectly poached. The portions are standard, so there will likely be no leftovers. For the portions though, I would say the price is a little on the higher end. To finish my friend got a tahini brownie on the way out and we found it to be very pleasant and not overly sweet. I would love to try their coffees and teas!

I wouldn't say that it is top of the line cooking, but it is very delicious and definitely worth a visit this side of town. Parking can be a little challenging, they do share a parking lot with other businesses, but close in, there are not that many spots. Service is always friendly and makes you feel comfortable. Interesting atmosphere with flamingos galore and other things decorating the inside. Gives it somewhat of a party and fun feel. Food comes out in a timely manner even when they are very busy. Prices are reasonable. Give it a try, I think you'll like it. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

(well once in taste, but I'll get to that) They have great in-house made items. Like the Challa bread, the preserves, their pesto. They most certainly know what they're doing. I had unseasoned filet mignon once, I believe it was the omelette. I talked to the manager. Now I wasnt upset, didn't send it back, I just told them what I experienced and mused that I found it odd the cook forgot a simple thing like salt. The manager acknowledged my complaint and that was all; or at least I was fine. Nope, she came back with a to-go box of croissants topped with cream and berries as an apology. They were tremendous by the way. She didn't have to do that. The ambiance is it's only weak point, but even that is minor. Simple black is fine. It's modern feeling and doesn't stand out loudly. They have outdoor seating, which early in the morning is fine, but id avoid in the summer, which will likely mean you'll be waiting, depending on the time. Oh! I forgot to mention, they have very good drinks. They really are intentional about the blend of flavors, they have a little something for everyone. All in all, I cannot recommend this place enough. It's been a shining star amongst Tucson restaurants and I am grateful they exist. Even to how they organize their menu partly by flavor profiles shows they genuinely LOVE food. One thing that stood out during that first visit was the hostess. Since the restaurant is located inside a hotel and can be a little difficult to find, I expected a more welcoming introduction or at least some confirmation that we were in the right place. Instead, the interaction felt a bit awkward and impersonal. We returned a few weeks later (07/12/26) and happened to be greeted by the same hostess. Unfortunately, the experience was very similar. She asked how many people were in our party, I said two, and then she simply looked at her computer without saying much else. Another employee eventually came over and escorted us to our table. Throughout both visits, she never came across as particularly friendly or welcoming. As the first person guests interact with, I think a hostess sets the tone for the entire experience, so this was disappointing. On a more positive note, our waitress was very kind and attentive throughout the meal. The service once we were seated was definitely better than the initial impression. As for the food, it wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything special, especially considering the price. Overall, it felt pretty average for what we paid. The ambiance was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. Overall, the experience was okay, but between the lack of hospitality at the front and the food being average for the price, I'm not sure I would go out of my way to come back.
