The menu on the counter explains what each add in is for rather than just saying B12. I had already paid for my order when I saw they make a bowl for dogs, so of course I had to grab one for my pup (he loved it!). You can substitute and/or add in ingredients. I should've checked Yelp before going to this place. I usually go to berry divine across the street, but decided to give rush bowls a try. I got one with chocolate whey protein, and question if they even put the protein powder in it because I didn't taste any chocolate. The two bowls had no flavor except for the bites that had granola and honey. Literally blended ice water. Fruit toppings were scarce (only 1 free?) and felt like I was eating a pre-frozen smoothie bowl. If you mixed up the two bowls I had, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference based on taste. The only reason this place is getting 4 starts is the horribly slow service. It took more than 10 minutes to order, even though I was the only person in line. Then it took another 15 minutes to make my bowl. The bowl itself was colorful, right amount of sweet and delicious. Also got a Bow Wow cup for our husky, this was a big hit. Stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon. The place was not busy. Didn't get an acknowledgement when I walked in. I ordered the Beach Bowl with strawberries. The first few spoonfuls were good and cold but once the fruit and granola was gone, the Açaí didn't have any flavor. It was hard to finish the bowl. The restaurant was decorated cool. I was at Rush Bowls for the Elite Event last week with my son. I came back this week with my daughter so she could try it. My daughter ordered the Graham Berry Bowl and I had the Beach Bowl. Both were really good. We actually had them for lunch; they were filling and it felt great to have a healthy option for a meal. Everyone behind the counter was so friendly. The whole space is immaculate albeit a bit short on space for seating. We ate outside on the patio. When I was here last week the frozen fruit mixture seems to melt fairly quickly. I didn't have that experience today. It would be great if free wi-fi was offered, but that would be my only suggestion. Will definitely come back to try other combinations! read more

I tried this place because it was a Yelp Elite event. I couldn't find the event page so I'm posting to the business page. I brought my partner along. There are so many options here and they all look really good. We stood there for about 10min trying to decide what we wanted. I finally went with the beach bowl with blueberries and chocolate chips for toppings. My partner went with the Dali smoothie. The fruit bowls are done differently. Instead of placing all the fruits into a bowl, topping it with the various toppings, and then handing it to you, the fruits are blended together, and then topped. So you're basically eating mashed up fruit with the consistency of ice cream. It's pretty ingenious. And it is surprisingly filling. I was full after eating about 90% of my bowl. I would definitely return and try a different bowl. read more

The bowl I got was one of their favorites (the menu indicates which bowl is a top seller) the chai mystique and I loved it !!!! It's not too sweet and was incredibly refreshing. It came out extremely quick and service was great. There is indoor and outdoor seating although not much indoor seating. The ambience is very casual. The only thing is it's a bit on the expensive side. Including tip, I paid about $13 for a bowl that was pretty small. I'm definitely going to come back to try new flavors ! read more

Some of the things i enjoy about Rush Bowls -Its quick and easy but also all my friends with dietary restrictions ( gluten, dairy free,vegan,etc)can enjoy something here. As a mother, I'm super thankful for this place. They have Blended fruit bowls and smoothies but they have blended fruit bowls for KIDS! I have sensitive teeth so i tend to get a smoothie. One of the staff let me know that any bowl can be turned into a smoothie and vice versa Nothing is more stressful than finding a place that accommodates to all that and is healthy. They might not serve any beverages but they are always happy to provide a cup of cold water if you ask! I see other people talking about no toppings but they all come with granola and honey on top? I came here the other day after a great dinner, and enjoyed my time here. It's a small place, and not ideal as a hangout spot or a place to have a long conversation. Although the prices here are a little more in comparison to their competitors, I can safely say that this is a solid smoothie and acai spot! The customer service here is good. Everyone is upbeat and quick to offer suggestions as to what is best. I got the beach bowl, and added some fruit toppings, which cost a bit more. The portions are very filling. I just tried this place for the first time- would definitely go back! The menu has anything you could want in a bowl on it and they are super laid back if you want modifications. There was only one girl working, but she was friendly and worked quickly. I got the chai bowl and OHMERGERDDDD it was so freakin' good. If I didn't already know which smoothie I want next time I would get it again. They also had cheap little pup cups and my dogs LOVED them. So adorable with a little bowl on top. I've been on the hunt for all the acai bowls in Tucson. Rush is convenient because it's near UA and I've been several times. The customer service is good and they offer a wide variety of acai and smoothies! The price point seems a little higher than competitors. I love the beach bowl, but keep in mind you have to pay extra for fruit toppings. I order the item as is and then add my own sliced banana and chia/flax, etc. The bowls are very filling! I recently tried the evita and Dali smoothies - large portions and tasty! Will return for convenience but it's not my top pick. read more

Honestly, there are much better bowls out there that are much cheaper. I can't believe the description states the fruit but it's actually $1 extra for each item! Just not worth the price at all! Not recommended if you like smoothies. These smoothies taste so bad. All of these great ingredients and all of their smoothies taste like watery and pulpy milk. The smoothies leave a waxy texture in your mouth which is completely disgusting. We had to drive all the way to a Jamba Juice to redeem us of the awful taste these smoothies left us. read more

I was so excited when I saw the signage for a new Açaí bowl restaurant! It's pretty conveniently located near campus and my work so I can take my college student sister here and it's easier than some other Açaí bowl places around town. I was disappointed with the seating they had. They only had one window bar for 2 or 3 people and then these little half circles jutting out of the wall that each had a stool or two at but was unrealistically small for 2 or more people to comfortably eat at. I went with my fiancé and my sister and her boyfriend so we ended up having to sit outside, which was a tad too cold, especially considering the fact we were basically eating frozen yogurt. Then I was disheartened that even though they have all these fresh fruits and healthy ingredients, there wasn't a drink menu aside from their smoothies. I don't think you can eat an Açaí bowl and drink a smoothie in the same meal, so we ended up not having anything to drink. I'm a two different drinks during a meal type person so not having anything to drink really upset me. The selection of bowls was larger than most places and the Dragonfruit one I ended up getting was pretty delicious but it seemed like it only catered to a small crowd. My fiancé didn't really like any of the options so he ended up getting the PB&J bowl. It was good, tasted like a bunch of peanut butter and would have gone down smoother with a glass of milk or juice. My sister got the avocado one and it tasted exactly like avocado, so their flavors are on point. I wasn't a big fan of the bowls they use. They seemed too tall and slim, which made it difficult to get the "perfect" bite and left each of us eating the frozen yogurt/fruit blend/whatever it's technical name is without toppings at the end. All in all, I would go back, but only if I was craving a specific bowl that I knew they had and I would take it to go. Or if they added a drink menu and improved their seating. read more
