I am a Kitchen and Bath Designer and I have worked with Raymond for a number of years. He is one of my go to contractors and I can always count on him to follow through in a professional manner. He is an amazing finish carpenter and I have never had to worry about the quality of his work. He also has a great crew of sub contractors that he has worked with for years, even decades. They are all perfectionists and I can rely on their honesty and workmanship also. He also has great people and listening skills which is so important to make sure a project goes smoothly.
I also want to mention that a mutual client brought up the review by Lance K. I was the designer that brought him in on that project. I was at the big meeting we all had to go over the project. I won't answer the accusations directly because that is all open to interpretation. I will say that when we left that initial meeting Raymond was uneasy about the fit between he and the client. Sometimes it just isn't a match and it is better to move on. I should have known better than to encourage him to stay the course because misunderstandings obviously came to the fore. I will say that Raymond would never cut through a floor joist as we have had to fix that problem on many jobs when we have torn out the ceilings and found the same problem. It is also not unusual to ask for a deposit on floors, cabinets, countertops etc. No one will even put you on their schedule unless they get a down payment.
Suffice it to say I feel blessed to have Raymond on my team. I have been doing this thirty years and he is one of the good guys! read more
