There were no surprise extra charges and he finished on budget and within the promised timeframe, even though I had him do a completely unrelated garage window replacement in the middle of the job! I wouldn't hesitate to hire Kay again for any job big or small, and I will be recommending him to anyone who is looking to do a home project.

They dropped by that Friday afternoon to assess the situation. Great attention to detail. I learned for example that you don't want vertical seams lining up. Quick but thorough. We recently had them do, among other things, some drywall work, painting, security camera and Nest thermostat installation, mounting/hanging and wiring (behind walls) of a TV, adjustments to uneven and sticky doors throughout the home, repair of a non-functioning power washer, and work on a leaky toilet (again, among other things). Their range is impressive, and their craftsmanship is top notch. VERY high quality, high-grade professional work product. They even bring all of the necessary tools and materials to support whatever the need is, including materials for painting, etc. Very low lift for us as the consumer -- we really didn't have to lift a finger. The best part? All of them are incredible human beings, who are very easy to work with. Their customer service is great -- we provided our requests and instructions, and they ran with things from there and delivered exactly as we had asked. The work is clean and seamless and definitely worth the price. We couldn't ask for a better team, and we'll certainly be using Bill and his family in the future for all of our handyman needs.

I contacted 4 roofers and had mixed success in getting either an estimate or even someone to come out and look. I guess everyone is busy these days... Two of the roofers who came out didn't seem very confident as to what might be causing the leak. Both of them said they didn't repair/replace soffits. That was a non-starter for me. When Premium Solutions Exteriors came out to evaluate the situation, their representative (Rafael) immediately diagnosed the problem and also said he'd replace the 3 soffit boards that were now water stained and warped. I hired them because of how knowledgeable and confident Rafael was. He told me which date he'd be out and said I didn't even need to be home. They showed up as scheduled, did the work on the roof (which entailed replacing about 50 shingles on the roof as well as the starter shingles at the edge). They came back a few days later and replaced the damaged soffits and facia board. Clean up was impeccable. Today was one of the hardest rains we've had in a long time. Actually it's been raining for a week it seems! Not a drip! I highly recommend Rafael and Premium Solutions. They were fantastic to work with, did quality work, and were super-prompt and responsive.

My partner and I bought a 100-year-old home in Seattle that needed a lot of love: total overhaul of electric and plumbing, an extensive kitchen renovation, and I won't even tell you about the smell. We got quotes from a number of different contractors, and from our first interaction, Carlos was the most organized and personable. He also struck the right balance between hearing what we wanted in the house and offering his expertise and advice. During the project, he and his team put in long days and did careful, beautiful work (the kitchen is the gem of the place! we always get compliments on it). They also went out of their way to help us while we were doing our own projects on the house. You should choose CSC, LLC for your projects because of the excellent work that they do, but the bonus is that you will not find a team with more integrity and pride in their work. We had a couple of issues--more than reasonable given the scope and time frame of this project--and Carlos was a phone call away, and went above and beyond to resolve everything. We will definitely be calling him for any future projects.

If for some reason you do decide to hire CSC, LLC understand you might be going back to fix lousy work later on down the road. Below you will see a break down of work that needed to be fixed or replaced and the cost associated. This left my property unlocked and exposed) -While doing drywall, sheetrock, and paintwork, there were no drop cloths used in the process which resulted in paint splatter, mud, and drips of unknown substance all over my home. His team did clean up the mess but was one of the sloppiest drywall jobs I have ever seen. I interviewed one of his employees the day before they started and he tells me, "My specialty is drywall, sheetrock, and paint work." -during the installation of the garbage disposal, there were large drops of an unknown substance under the sink. -City violation for working on an ECA Critical slope. He should have known this before starting the project. (Extra fees associated with the violation are close to $10,000) -Response time to any detailed text or email would take anywhere from a few days to a week. I even flew out to Seattle from my home in Reno to review the remaining scope of work and he pretty much forgot that we were meeting. I called him after he was half an hour late and reminded him that I flew in for the meeting and he was late. I was a solid customer and paid all of my invoices on time. I would even provide the team some lunch, drinks, snacks, and donuts in the morning. I would have expected to receive a higher quality of work after spending over $40,000 with CSC, LLC.

My original review is below: We hired Unique Northwest Building for carpentry and drywall work to upgrade the interior design of our home. We installed some wooden slats and installed a new door. It's very rare to find contractors who go above and beyond and Daniel from Unique Northwest was one. We are extremely pleased with Daniel's work (refer to photos). While the photos speak for themselves, for those interested in learning more about our experience, read further. From the get-go, we were very pleased with Daniel's responsiveness. Due to Covid and some logistical issues on our end, our request was conducted via phones and photos. Daniel was prompt, communicative and addressed our concerns. We were concerned about project scope as we couldn't conduct an in home visit (again, due to an issue on our side), however, Daniel had scoped it correctly and there were no last minute bait and switches in pricing, which we appreciate a lot. During the job, Daniel went to great pains to understand the details of our requirements and did a walk through the house to made sure he had got it all right. On the job, he was quick on his feet, yet thorough and precise in his woodwork. When necessary, he went by himself to procure the wood and other materials we needed and ensured he had it all right. If there were any issues he found while doing the woodwork, he would let us know immediately to confirm his proposal, and we mostly deferred to his expertise - which he had in plenty. In three days, he transformed our house from a mediocre place to a gorgeous layout. We had some other minor issues that needed fixing in the house (fixing some plumbing), which Daniel took care quickly as well. He had to come for an extra half day to finish some paint work as it needed time to dry, which he did meticulously again. We are extremely pleased with our result, and all of our friends have loved the new design. I would 100% recommend Unique Northwest Building and Daniel for any of my contracting work and would definitely hire him again. Thank you again Daniel was doing a fantastic job!

Our home remodel took over 2 months to complete and he single handedly did most of the work, and only subcontracted the electrician, plumbing, and custom glass shower door. He came to our house on time and worked on the rooms sequentially. He left the work in progress rooms and our house organized and clean all the time. He worked on a few weekends to ensure the project ended on time, and this was also because I added scope along the way.
