Guy seems nice and it was my second time using his services. Big heads up, his current rate is 2hr for 200$ not including travel time. I had booked him for services to fix my toilet and install a garbage disposal. He had mentioned he was working another job at the same time and said he'll come back for the garbage disposal. He never did. He billed $270 total for 20mins of his time. I had expressed my concerns that the job was not done and asked if i could get a discount. He refused. Although i liked his work, he couldn't help to reduce the cost. I'll take my business elsewhere. We all get screwed over at some point i thought this guy would work with me but nope. We were looking for a handyman to do some touch-ups before putting up our condo for sale. Sent out messages to a few places and Leon responded immediately. I really liked that and told him what we needed (some touch up paint, some small edges that needed repairing, drywall patching and maybe a toilet repair if that was possible). He set up an appointment with us right away with Shawn for a day later. The day comes and Shawn arrives right on time, even early I dare say. We show him what we need and he gets to work. He updates us on time and things he's completed and that time he would need left. When we come back at the end of the day, he explains to us the toilet would probably need replacing instead and we asked him if he could install it if we went out and purchased the toilet right away. He said sure even though it was about 6pm at this time. We quickly went to Lowes, grabbed one and when we got back he had been sweeping up the place and even unbolted and removed the old toilet, getting it ready for us. He never stopped working. He helped us install it and all was well. He even went above and beyond and matched the paint to some areas we weren't sure what to do about, and it looked amazing. We wouldn't have done that ourselves. The prices were very affordable, Leon and Shawn were both very professional and honest and I really appreciate the hard work Shawn put in. On time but ended up with a $300+ bill for hanging a closet rod and attempting to fix my leaky faucet (including a 1:45 minute trip to a hardware store, and then without permission, to another hardware sore, all of which I was billed for). Giving them a break because once I expressed my concern, they did cut the bill in half. Still... ended up paying $165.15 to hang two closet rods, one of which had to be redone by someone else after it fell. read more

Forgot to leave a review when this was done, so catching up on it now that I'm stuck at home. (The date should tell you why.) When installing a TV Wall Mount, I had something happen I wasn't expecting. While drilling holds for the mounting bolts, the drill bit snapped off below the surface of the wall. We had Leon out to get that broken drill bit removed & finish putting up the TV mount. He did it faster than I had expected and was great to chat with, too. The TV is still hanging on the wall nearly a year later, so I'd say he did a great job! read more

After discussing the cost we decided to go with him. After a brief weather delay entirely due to the legendary 2019 winter snow storm Leon and Shaun came out and expertly performed the job over one day plus a second morning stint. This included some very minor demo (removing a wall tool rack), fixing the wall behind it, replacing a light fixture, installing blinds, painting the entire room, and a few other odd jobs. When unsure they asked me a few questions to make sure the job was done right. Throughout the process Leon was good at communicating, first through Yelp messaging, then later through text. Leon and his partner did a phenomenal job in installing two glass shower enclosures for my new remodel. He was responsive in correspondences, providing a quote and sticking by the quoted cost and was also prompt and on time on the day of the installation. Upon completion of the installation, Leon and his partner did their due diligence to vacuum up the debris from the material cut off that was required as well as cleaning up the trash that came with the items. He showed me the completed work prior to departing and sent me an online invoice that was payable with credit card. This is a great feature as it allowed me to look back at the work and reconfirm the quality and completion of it in it's entirety prior to making payments. I would definitely have Leon and his associate assist me again in further projects. Leon and his company was actually recommended by a real estate firm out of Tacoma, Keller Williams so I didn't have to go to home advisory or any other maintenance service provider to the fix the issues in my house. The company did not charge for the extra things like most other maintenance companies so i was pleasantly surprised when i received my bill under my anticipated estimate and half the time to fix everything.
