A party of four dinned here recently on a Tuesday evening at 6 pm. Not busy many empty tables. First let me comment about the service. We waited a long time for someone to greet us and take our drink order. Another 20 minutes after we received our drinks , and finally our server came to take our food order. When the waiter poured water, it spilled down my back he offered no assistance snd did not get additional napkins. My friend had to wipe the water spilled from my back. No apology the waiter just said "oh well it's only water". We had to ask for bread and asked several times for our water glasses to be refilled. Now let me comment about the food. The prices were extremely expensive I ordered , a piece of halibut with a very small portion of vegetables that was $56. The halibut did was not seasoned well and was very bland. The other diners in our party agreed the prices were very expensive for what we received. All in all, considering the ambience, service and price we will not return to Fish . read more

We had a wonderful happy hour experience here. Emily was our server and she was terrific. She was efficient, friendly and spirited. The food was great, especially the Spicy Tuna Roll and the edamame and the drinks were generous. A server can make or break a restaurant, they are the face of the establishment and a great deal of what we remember about a restaurant. One of the worst meals I have ever had. I had the grouper at $50+ and it was bland;devoid of flavor. It was served over asparagus which was okay and set atop a strange type of rice that had a distasteful flavor. I ordered the key lime pie in order to have a better experience and it was equally bland as well as small food r the price. The four of us ordered different dishes and none of us liked our meal. I consider it the worst dining experience I have had in the greater Naples area. I have eaten at most of the top restaurants in Naples area and this is easily the worst. Went there for the $12.95 lunch special we liked it so much we went back for the paella for dinner and it was cooked to perfection and delicious. The service was wonderful the waiter even suggested places for us to watch the sunset. I will definitely go back when I am in Naples. read more

Thought we can try it again outside season when they are not that busy but ... boy oh boy... Pasta was too greasy, crab cake was just tasteless, specialty fish was drowned in oul. Love this place, right on the water and great stop for an afternoon of shopping. Service is great and friendly. It gets crowded in season and recommend reservations if you want to eat outside. GREAT FOOD INCREDIBLE MANAGEMENT + WAIT STAF KETO FRIENDLY DOLPHIN SIGHTING(!!) was my third time back at FISH and each experience gets better. The ambiance simply can't be beat - we saw dolphins swimming right next to our table! The oysters were massive and so incredibly fresh. The sesame seared tuna was cooked to perfection and my husband's lobster tails with truffle fries were even better. My girlfriend had the scallops (great size) and the cauliflower rice tasted identical to real rice. This place has excellent options for those who attempt to follow a Keto friendly diet. What TRULY sets FISH apart from the other restaurants in Venetian Village is the staff. The staff are all hospitality gurus. They made us feel so welcome and have clearly been trained very well. Leaving a one-star review because there wasn't an option for zero stars. My husband and I had dinner here with another couple on Saturday, 02/13/16, and after an evening of poor service, multiple incorrect drink orders and mediocre food, we provided him with 2 credit cards to split the total (he claimed he could not provide us with 2 separate checks because of an issue with the system). Fast-forward to Tuesday when our friends checked their credit card statement and found that they were charged twice for the dinner. Rather than the restaurant fixing the issue, they have continued to be evasive and provide excuses of "oh, this happens all the time" and claim to have fired the server (like that was the only issue). The manager, Freddie, tried to bully me into providing payment over the phone for one of the charges before he was willing to refund our friend's erroneous charge. Not only has he failed to provide copies of the signed receipts from the evening, he has decided to make it the customer's problem to fix instead of simply refunding charges to a card that he does not have proof of authorization to charge. Instead, our friends are forced to file a claim with their credit card company to retrieve the payment. After our dining experience, we decided that we would not return. After this week's ordeal, however, I can't think of any reason why this place should continue to profit from poor service and an incredibly unprofessional manager who refuses to correct an issue that is 100% the restaurant's fault. Save your money and your credit card security and go anywhere else. read more

Came here over the holidays for a ladies dinner since our condo is within walking distance of the Venetian Village. We sat outside and the atmosphere was nice but that was about it. Our waiter was pushy on drinks and what to order. He talked my mom out of ordering chicken since the place is called FISH after all, but that was a mistake. We all got fish and none of it was great. Mine dish was way too salty and the others lacked in flavor. Bottom line, don't waste your money here on seafood. There are a lot better options out there! read more

Second time we tried this restaurant. We wanted to like it since it's in the neighborhood, but the food was not good either time. My husband had the beet salad (tasteless) and grilled octopus (terrible, he said). I had the sushi, which was decent. Then the fish was interesting - a decent piece of grouper, but covered in a strange herb rub and sitting in a puddle of tomato sauce with 4 asparagus. Not terrible, but not at all worth repeating. Vacationing in Naples on Saturday February 26 with my family party of 6. As we were finishing our meals our guest discovered a human tooth in her rice complete with a filling in it. Summoning the manager, Max, to show him what was discovered in his food he shrugged it off and made light of it. Said that he had never seen anything like this in his 40+ years of management. He then said he would comp our guests dinner but that was all. He said none of the other 5 had found anything wrong with their meal so that was the end of it. The GM was then brought out, Sal, who said any further action was "not going to happen". I cannot believe the rudeness in which we were treated and total disregard for health issues of this 4 1/2 star restaurant. We will never go back here again and I have reported them to the Naples Health department. Food is subpar for the price. You're paying for the view purely. I used to love going here out of all the restaurants in the Venetian Village as the food was top notch and reasonable prices. I came here for Christmas Day Dinner. It was not too crowded, located on a Bay and had valet parking. Since it was too windy, we moved our reservation to inside. Table was beautifully set and service was excellent. I got the house Chardonnay while my dad had a whiskey and tonic and my mom had the house red. The Chardonnay was wonderful and light. For our entrees, we got the swordfish, fisherman platter and past dish with cheese and shrimp. I ended sharing the fisherman platter and pasta dish with my dad. The truffle fries were amazing and the seafood was delicious. It was not heavily fried. The shrimp pasta dish was also excellent. Food came out fast and service was attentive and on point. read more

I had the scallops.. which can only be served with cauliflower.. Scallops are good everywhere so nothing special abt them here in this place. You cannot substitute ur sides for anything else, you can only pay extra for ur desired sides.. so i got the Parmesan truffle fries, which sounds so exotic abd fancy, and all i got was a plate with dry ugly fries and some parmesan here and there.. The second plate we had on the table qas the redfish.. Horible, starting with the presentation and finishing with the taste.. It was extremely spicy and impossible to taste the flavor of the fish.. and i spent 27 or 28$ on this ate only to taste the redfish, which i couldnt. That's the server's job to let you know that this is a spicy dish. It had some dry coleslaw, which just didnt look good on the plate. Just to sumarize, i convinced myself that this place is good only for it's location. If you wanna spend money in a good restaurant, go to one with French cuisine, at least you won't be sorry for spending.. I can't say other seafood places are bad.. Just don't let yourself fooled by the name or the location, it's really not worth it. If you wanna eat on the water, look carefully on internet and find something maybe not that good looking ( like Joe's crabshack, or Kelly's Fish in Tin City ) , at least you won't spend tons of money on smth you get dissapointed in. read more

Wife's black grooper was the same size, with maybe a quarter cup of potatoes. Red fish was fishy and unpalatable, I wouldn't recommend. Service? What service, water glasses went dry, and service was nonexistent, when asked for more water only two of the six glasses were filled, the other four were ignored. I had a craving for the fish soup and looked it up on line. In the past it was delicious especially with dipping the bread. The online menu had the soup listed for $38.00. Drove a long distance and learned the soup was actually $54.00. The real disappointment of the night was when we asked for extra bread and was told they were charging $5.00. Ohhh but it's not, this place is worth rubbing elbows with Naples whoo's who that just want to be seen at the newest place in town. Located in an upscale strip mall, this place was probably an Ann Taylor a few weeks ago, now it's a place I would gladly rob banks to frequent. From the grilled octopus appetizer to the incredibly fresh grouper & snapper, the entrees we had showcased the FISH. The freshness, the taste, the awesomness of FISH. There were items on the menu that appeared to be about the the preparation, like the bacon encrusted Walleye, but the majority were simple amazing dishes. Oh and they have sushi / sashimi too. Water views were fantastic, the space is very well done for being in a mall. The bar has outdoor seating in the walkway of the mall, the "hot" kitchen is an a "suite" across from the restaurant with floor to ceiling glass so you can see what is going on, and there is a "cold" room behind glass that the FISH is prepared in. Sounds a bit strange as I write this but it is really well executed. Service was extrodinary. Well done chaps. read more

They recommended this place especially because of the summer menu. 1/2 off most menu items which sounds awesome but it's NOT true First we ordered drinks from happy hour menu. Five minutes later we were told no luck it's only at bar. At this point I think you should at least uphold what we've already ordered as a "oops, sorry"- but they didn't care Then we order our food. Some items were shown to be full price so we looked at the discounts. Then surprise when the bill came - up charge for asparagus vs spinach. Fettuccine Alfredo is half off but get anything in it and it's double the price. Also my mothers crab cakes which were touted to be the best were so mediocre and they just said on its the lemon sauce. Whatttt? If your lemon sauce is mediocre why smother your crab cake in it? We ate at Fish Restaurant on Saturday November 9th after getting a recommendation from the Ritz-Carlton concierge. I am trying to be fair in this review, and almost put down 2 stars, but on reflection this place is deserving of only 1. 1. Sushi was good. Nothing special, but good. I've had comparable sushi in Hawaii at what would be described a fast-food sushi joint. 2. Pork Belly entree was undercooked and didn't have the crispness that really is the point of that particular kind of dish. It was very close to getting a big chunk of undercooked pork fat in a pot of beans. 3. "Blackened" Grouper was cooked well, but the delicate flavor of the Grouper was overpowered by the herbs they used to blacken it. Even worse, the fish was swimming in a sauce of what appeared to be canned tomatoes. The sweetness of the tomatoes was not at all in balance with the rest of the dish. It was a really weird combination, and I was surprised they'd think to do it this way with so many other ways of cooking Grouper. 4. Crabcakes were fishy. 5. Filet was a nice piece of meat, but once again wasn't cooked properly. Maybe it was an off night, but most of the cooking wasn't technically proficient, let alone remarkable for taste or imagination. I'd stay away from this place, as there are plenty of better options in that area. read more

The setting is great! Waterside, lovely setting. We were greeted by a fairly rude hostess telling us there wasn't any outdoor seating, which was fine by us. The hostess standing next to her pointed to a high top table outside with a great view of the water and offered that to us. The other hostess was clearly annoyed. Our waitress was adorable (she reminded my of Kristen Wigg). My husband's martini was terrible, he ordered the sushi and was not fresh and the roll he ordered was cold (it was a fried roll). We ordered oysters on the half (delicious) and a few Oysters Rockefeller (terrible). My red snapper was absolutely delicious! Had our First visit last Friday night. (4 adults and 3 kids) We read the reviews (old ones weren't the best but the most recent were great)and decided to try it. We were extremely happy from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly and eager to make us happy. Our server was Borji and he was great! The Manager that night was wonderful also.
