First Watch is one of our regular spots and it's always solid. This location is super consistent, right behind Disney property. Food comes out hot, service is quick but not rushed, and everyone is genuinely nice. It doesn't feel like a fast diner, but you're also not waiting forever, which is the best combo. Space is always clean & great for groups! Over time I've tried a lot of the menu, but I definitely have my go-tos. The BEC is my favorite whenever it's available (still mad it's seasonal). I usually add the loaded Million Dollar Potatoes as a side, which are unreal. Million Dollar Bacon is addicting! I also rotate between the Strawberry Tres Leches french toast, raspberry ricotta french toast (seasonal), AM superfoods bowl, the chickichanga, and the chile chorizo omelet. On days I'm not in the mood for breakfast food, I always go for the half roast beef sandwich with the daily soup, which is such an underrated option. I always get the kale tonic fresh juice. Service and food at this location are always consistently great. You are always greeted as soon as you walk up by someone holding the door open for you. Such a nice welcoming touch. The fact that you get a carafe of water and coffee just for your table is such a nice touch as well. Took my mom for breakfast she had the salmon eggs Benedict that she said was fantastic. Coffee is served in your own tables pot so refills are easy; btw the mugs are a good size which is nice. We ordered off the seasonal menu which was a vast selection; we got "The B.E.C." Sandwich which was nice but the bread was a little on the greasy side. Came with a side of spring mix which I didn't eat as salad for breakfast is not my thing, would have like a choice for an alternative. This particular visit was my first time at this location, and while it looked and felt just like the others (which is a good thing), the service experience left a little to be desired. When we arrived, the restaurant was pretty quiet--only about three other families were dining in. Despite that, we ended up standing at the hostess stand for over five minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. It wasn't busy enough for that kind of delay. Our server was professional but very straightforward--none of the warm, welcoming vibe I've come to expect from First Watch staff. That said, our food came out quickly and tasted great, just like I've come to expect from the brand. Prices are about average for breakfast/lunch spots, which is fair given the quality. But, here's where that part ends and the delivery story paints a very different story. TWICE, I've received an incomplete order. TWICE, I've had to return to complete my own order which negates the tip and convenience of delivery. ONCE, I was promised they would make amends or give me a couple bucks off (that's literally all that was offered). Second time, no call back from the manager. Said they were too busy and were sorry. It gets even worse. I gave my number to the manager from the first incident. She said she noted it for my next visit. We went in for that yummy coffee and pancakes. I asked for her and she literally responded with, "DoorDash orders are not our responsibility. I don't have anything saying we made that mistake." I told you what the pros are because they are pros for sure, but why 1 star v 2 or even 3? Think how arrogant or just plain ignorant a restaurant manager must be to think, "OUR FAULT, NOT OUR PROBLEM." You will enjoy the coffee and pancakes, you WON'T enjoy the potatoes which are coated and buried in salt. You will enjoy the hipster vibe of the restaurant. You WON'T enjoy the delivery service. So my eggs Benedic was why I did. I'm glad I didn't do anything spicy. My bread was extremely burnt. I couldn't drink the water had chlorine in it. Our server was not checking in on us. This was the most embarrassing part, one of the servers, claimed as we sat in the car, that we didn't pay yet I did right before we left online, i saved it didn't close it. Came here with some coworkers for a quite bite before we started. We all tried something off the seasonal menu- the modern Croque Madame for me, the corned beef hash for one other and the pumpkin pancakes for the last. We also all had to sample a bite of each other's.... Wow! These were all so yummy! The hash had a good balance between the corned beef and additional herbs, and the Parmesan sauce was wonderful. The pumpkin pancakes (which were available alone, as my dining companion happily learned after inquiring, as she wasn't as hungry this visit) were loaded with flavor- a very good balance between spices, though very cinnamon forward; the maple syrup definitely added to how delicious this was! My croque madame was requested to have no tomatoes, and they accommodated wonderfully. The challah bread was soft and pillowy, but held up well even when it had absorbed some of the runny egg with every bite (exactly what I love about a croque madame!). I also really enjoyed the purple haze drink I got, which was a refreshing yet comforting drink with lemon and lavender in a good balance without being overly sweet or cloying. The side salad with my sandwich was lightly dressed, and good though admittedly I left most of it. I did add a bit of the greens to bites of my sandwich, which allowed the greens to stay crisp instead of getting limp on the warm sandwich. All in all, a great experience. It seemed that our waitress was stretched a bit thin, but we did go for a 10am breakfast on a weekday so I doubt it was expected to be busy. There were also quite a few larger groups which I understand demand more attention. Since my daughter and I had an early breakfast, we chose to share a plate. I don't know if it was because of us sharing a plate or another 'mis-characterization', but our server HANNAH treated us so poorly. She rushed the entire experience, didn't ask if we wanted more water. Dropped the check and didn't ask if we needed anything else. We had to stop her as she was walking back just to ask for a box. As my son's breakfast bowl was clearly untouched, any server would have seen that and offered. She came back w/ a small bowl which she hastily put on the table and then quickly walked back to the kitchen as if we were a bother. We were all in shock as to why she was acting this way. We then see her in the kitchen talking to the staff, they all look our way and start laughing. My son had to grab another box himself to box the rest of his leftovers. Haven't been for a few weeks. Not sure if management has changed or what, but it was really off yesterday. Weather has been in the forties, but they had the a/c blasting. We had to change seats to try and get out of the draft. Server just commented, "Well, it is a restaurant". No kidding, but really didn't want to eat in the freezer. Asked what the soup was. Italian wedding, husband's favorite. Orders that and half a sandwich. Eventually, a woman comes over to inform us they are out of the soup. He wouldn't have ordered had he known. Ends up with vegetable. Not a happy camper. Now, the entire time there is a group with three small children. There is silverware thrown all over the floor, they are allowing the baby (maybe 18 months) to slide all over the floor and the two boys to have races from the front of the restaurant to the back. They nearly ran into two of the servers. Management just ignored them. Lucky that they didn't plow into any of the several elderly people sitting nearby. Probably won't go back to this one.
