I normally really like First Watch and we have been going to the Sunrise location for years. It's usuLly pretty reliable. Today's brunch was so horrible we couldn't even eat it. I got a Benedict and my husband and I both got sides of potatoes. The potatoes were totally burned and some were raw. My eggs looked poached but the yolks were hard. I also got a side of grits and everything had absolutely no flavor at all. We got the gingerbread donut bites and the bottoms were burnt. I never ever complain about food but the server asked about it and I let her know. She was very very kind and brought a new meal but it wasn't much better. It was supposed to have avocado and there was no avocado and the potatoes were burnt again. I didn't have the heart to tell her. It's pretty annoying considering brunch for my husband and I costs $60 bucks these days and it was really the worst meal I've had in a long time. Business standard extremely low here. Restaurant makes error and customer has to return hours later for a refund. If you are not able to easily correct a mistake then you really cannot afford to make errors. Food was wrong and items missing from pickup order. Only correction offered was to return to store hours later just before close to receive refund. So, I don't have my food, out money, and have to return later for refund. I travel to your store twice just to be in the same place I was before ever again even visiting?! Wow, well zero incentive to ever trust this business again. No one even apologized for mistake until I specifically mentioned absence of apology. Seems obvious to me store does not appreciate business and gives impression customers need them more than they need customers. Well ask your company president who pays for your wages. I'm someone who was in the restaurant business for nine years and I especially appreciated his kind service. If you're going there on the weekend i highly recommend joint the waitlist either before you leave the house or on your way there it made the wait for the table less than 5 minutes when we walked in. The service we were given was great! my boyfriend and I both got summer blush drinks which is the perfect refreshing summer drink if you love watermelon, i got the eggs benedict with smokes salmon which is my personal favorite. the salmon tasted fresh and the eggs were cooked to perfection. my boyfriend got the trifecta with scrambled eggs, a waffle, and bacon which he loved as well. our server was very attentive and very nice, she had our orders in fast, drinks our fast and food out within 15 minutes. on top of all of that the other servers also checked in on us which was very nice. all in all a great breakfast. read more

Food is not consistent. I was there once and discovered I loved their cheese grits and red juice concoction. Today I came back and found the red juice is gone (seasonal) and the grits were old and clumpy. The cheese on top I couldn't even swallow it was congealed or something. I requested some fresh grits without cheese on top but they brought out the same thing. I updated my stars from 2 to 3 because the manager Fabien is a good listener and have us a gift card. Thanks. Found this breakfast restaurant through yelp. I was going to Sawgrass Mills for back to school shopping and since it was early snd had not had breakfast we decided to kill time but eating breakfast. First watch is inside a PUBLIX shopping center. Since it was early morning we had no issues finding parking. Wait time was about 15 minutes and it went by quickly. Service was very good, our server was very attentive and polite. After we placed our order the food came out rather quickly. All the ingredients at fresh and made the same day. I loved my son's cinnamon waffle, well it was a plain waffle with cinnamon powder and powder sugar. My salmon & mushroom frittata was very good too I especially liked the dressing on the mixed salad very citrusy. I just recently discovered First Watch for lunch, thanks to Yelp of course! It's a diner type restaurant that serves healthy delicious fresh food at great prices! I love that they have a couple of daily soups always available, I love their Tomato Basil soup, it's delicious, and so far I have only tried the Monterey Club, and it's so good I am yet to try anything else because this is always my number one pick along with the Tomato Basil soup. The Club consists of Turkey, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato, Monterey Jack and mayo on served on a hearty multigrain bread. The restaurant itself has a diner look and feel, I don't feel that their look matches their food offerings. The prices are very reasonable and service is fast, and you pay at the front cashier before leaving. I would love to try the breakfast, the menu for it looks very good. This chain restaurant is very good. There's always a line out the door so plan to wait at least half an hour on the weekends. We went on a Saturday morning around 9:30am and we waited 40 mins. The server came immediately to ask for our drink orders. This location is kept clean and neat. The kitchen is slightly open so you can see inside. The menu is typical breakfast brunch food with some unique things like crab cakes benedict and pecan waffles. I had the bacon and onion hash with over easy eggs. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The seasoned potatoes and Bacon mixed with melted cheddar cheese was delicious. It was overly salted or oily. Just the right amount of gluttony. I drove up to have lunch with my cousin and she suggested we eat here. When we walked up there was a massive amount of people waiting and I won't lie I was rather hungry. We waited approximately 30 mins for a table. Upon being seated we were greeted by Julie. She was a very pleasant lady and was quick with getting my much needed coffee and water. I ordered the pick two lunch special of the ham and Gruyere melt and the broccoli and cheddar soup. The melt comes with tomatoes and Dijon mustard. The bread was nice and toasted and there was plenty of cheese ( and those who know, know how happy that makes me). The broccoli cheddar soup was nice and cheesy, but a tad on the salty side. Now my only issue was the wait. I saw people who were sat after us get their food before us and being as hungry as I was, I was really bothered. The sever didn't apologize for the wait which I feel she should. Finally we got our food, which we had to inhale since waiting for the table and the food to arrive cut into my cousin's lunch time substantially and we're finally ready to pay. I've been coming to this location for year and the update review is overdue. I have a first watch location 3 miles from my home, but I prefer to drive for 20 minutes to have my brunch at this Sunrise location. The atmosphere here is great, there is a lot of light, and management just got it right with the service. Menu options are super healthy, and there is always a new option to try. When the food arrived my order was incorrect: I had ordered potatoes instead of sliced tomatoes (that came with the meal) BUT I got fresh fruit? I just had lunch at the First Watch at Corners Parkway in Raleigh . Upon my arrival a young man name JEAN greeted me and sat me. He was GREAT!!! He was personable, and attentive during my visit. He took my order and said "i'll put this in right away it should be out soon" . My order arrived quicker than he thought and joked " Wow that came out quicker than I expected" . He checked on me numerous times and when I asked for a couple extra napkins he returned with a couple paper towels and apologized for them running out of the regular napkins. I'm a repeated customer her, as there is a Firat Watch located 5 minutes from my house. I wanna say 95% of the time they never disappoint and this is weather you choose to do fine-in or takeout. For the most part the restaurant is always clean and the food is always fresh and tasty! I wanted to go out for breakfast somewhere that wasn't iHop so I decided to give this place a try. I heard their wait could get long so I used Yelp to put my name on the list before leaving home. Unfortunately I still had to wait around an hour to get seated BUT it was a holiday and it was obviously crowded when I walked in. At least the food came out quickly and was really tasty. The waitress mentioned something about the coffee being free, but it wasn't. The price overall was decent and it was a good amount of food overall. As much as I dislike reducing the star count I have to Today we had brunch. Two meals arrived pipping hot mine arrived ice cold. It was even cold to the touch I had the salmon eggs Benedict. After the replacement plate arrived I discovered the problem the salmon is right out if the refrigerator. They need to put it the flattop and warm it up.
