Came for breakfast with my mom and aunt prior to finishing last minute Christmas shopping. They were busy as it was Christmas Eve and a lot of people were out and about, we put our name on the waitlist and were told we would have a 15 minute wait. They switch up the menu with the seasons so there are constantly new foods to try. I have never disliked one of my meals from First Watch. I also never feel gross and greasy after eating here which is how I feel sometimes leaving other breakfast restaurants. They offer breakfast and lunch - I've gone for both and it's allll tasty. I'm addicted to the Million Dollar Bacon, but there are a lot of really yummy, healthy choices on their menu. Both the Ham and Gruyere Omelet and the Ham Gruyere Melt are wonderful, and I especially like the Classic Benedict. The Avocado Toast is also quite good. They also have a really nice selection of fresh juice combinations. My favorite is the Kale Tonic. I tried my boyfriend's bloody mary and it was also tasty. He inhaled the slice of million dollar bacon that came with it so i cant comment on that this time but it seemed great! Cons: -the food, all of it unfortunately. Everything was bland and lacked flavor. We asked for the potatoes well done & extra crispy and they looked pretty much like boiled potatoes with no seasoning. Additionally it cost almost $2 for cheese to be added to scrambled eggs, although we went to the other first watch on Beale and it was free. -service wasn't too good. Although initially she was attentive she (nor anyone) came to check on us once we got our food for over 20 minutes until we went searching for the check.
