I gave a taste of to my table mates and they ordered their own. My chickichanga didn't disappoint. My table mates had the trifecta and the waffle. Everyone was well pleased. This is definitely something that I didn't expect from First Watch. It had the slightest kick from the hot honey, but overall the flavors were all amazing. If I understand correctly, it comes with the spring mix salad, but if you wanted you could substitute it out for their breakfast potatoes. Great selections of healthy options and fresh squeezed juices. I ordered the eggs Benedict Florentine. I would not order it again because the hollandaise sauce was blah. It was pretty boring like sitting at the doctor's office. It had no flavor and was lukewarm. It was missing acid. It needed some lemon juice. I am a huge eggs Benedict person and was truly disappointed with the sauce. The restaurant needs to re-look at their recipe. Someone who orders the eggs Benedict all the time would be disappointed. I have to say the eggs were cooked perfect and I really like they put it on ciabatta bread instead of the same boring English muffin. It comes with a salad and I substituted fresh fruit instead. Love that they use fresh fruit instead of canned fruit. I will come back sometime but but I won't order the eggs Benedict again. We went to first watch on a Sunday and it was not very busy. We were seated outside. Waiters are wearing mask and gloves and I felt perfectly safe that they were handling the food during Covid-19. Everything is made fresh to order. Our waitress was attentive and tended to our needs promptly and efficiently. My spouse got the French toast and the million dollar bacon which was very good using a nice brioche. I had the multi grain pancake eggs and regular bacon. Our meal was very good and we cleared our plates. The price point is pretty in line with the competitors serving the same or similar products. It will definetely be in our rotation. It was tasty and she seemed to enjoy it, not enough to share much. I ordered the Beefeater. This has been on the menu for some time. It is always good. The potatoes are never really awesome, but they're usually fairly good. This time they came back a little burnt, which threw off the flavor of the entire plate. I should note that I like crispy, but this was charred. Actually, I usually even like charred, especially on something like a steak. But this was beyond that. I'm fairly certain they would have fixed the problem if I mentioned it, but I was in a rush. Despite the occasional mishap, this place rocks. The portions are just filling enough. This was the BOMB!!!! First time here and it was amazing. I'd always heard of comparisons to KeKes or other restaurants but honestly I like it here best and I feel that their menus aren't comparable. After leaving a walk at UCF of course we were starving and I YELPed to see what was around. After deciding in First Watch I realized that we could hop on the waitlist before we even arrived. We just had to check in with the hostess by a certain time but we only had to wait 5min as opposed to getting there and waiting 15. I will utilize this every time I can now. It was very efficient. The restaurant was busy but you did not feel stacked on top of each other. It was very cute and the bathroom was spotless. Our server was so sweet she brought out coffee and water immediately and helped with any questions we had on the menu. I decided on the veggie burger with mixed greens, the hubby got the Chickichanga and the bestie got the traditional breakfast. Food came out fresh and fast. I loved the veggie burger. It's arguable competition for the top 5 veggie burgers in Orlando. Fresh avocado and the mixed greens made it to die for. My hubby and bestie enjoyed their food as well. Avocado Toast. It's so simple. Its just avocado and toast but its so good! That is my absolute favorite breakfast in the world right now. They make it right by adding a touch of acid (dash of lemon), salting it right, and drizzling of evoo. The bread is it is soft but sturdy enough to hold up all the chunky avocados. It comes with two basted eggs which are cooked in water. I think they need to get hang of this cause sometimes it undercooked where the white is still runny (I hate that) or over cooked (yolk is solid, I hate that too). To pair with this, I usually order a side of bacon and right now they have their Millionaire Bacon dish which is basically candied thick cut bacon. Put this on the avocado toast and take a huge bite. So GOOD! You're welcome. I think the rest of the First Watch menu is okay but that really put them on the 4 star mark for them. They also have their App which allows you to 'get in line' virtually if there is a wait. There is a free birthday thing if you desire to sign up for their program. Came here because I received a free entree of my choice for my Birthday. This is located on the UCF strip of eateries. Parking was pretty full so I assumed great things about the place! The wait time was 5 minutes for a table and the cafe was pretty packed of diners. Got seated and was presented a menu along with the regular menu is a seperate summer menu items thats limited. Im into anything eggs benedict so I opted for their summer special of BLT Eggs Benedict! The young lady was pretty nice. I noticed she always wants to make sure I want anything extra with my order felt like it was a commission sales thing lol! As I got my eggs benedict I noticed a few things that Im not used to from other areas Ive gotten eggs benedict from .. 1) The portion was like an appetizer sized portion 2) Wheres the hollandaise sauce?!! It was so little I barely saw it and tasted it! 3) the ciabatta bread was so hard I was afraid I may break a tooth chomping in it! 4) The poached eggs were NOT RUNNY but soft boiled?!!! WTH?!!! 5) Too much greens that covered the whole experience of eating the entree! I pointed out the above flaws and I sent it back to the kitchen to have it redone! I requested runny yolk on my poached eggs and softer ciabatta bread please! I shouldve requested more Hollandaise sauce! Ugghh!! The entree came with a fruit bowl which consists of pineapple, watermelon bites and grapes - my bowl in particular consists more of grapes n some still had stems on it! When the server took my 1st entree that was sent back she also took along my other utensils - She never offered a new utensil packet back so All I had to work with is a fork to eat with! I had to request a new set of utensils so I can use a spoon to eat my fruit bowl! Thank god this entree was FREE because I was not a happy camper! Before this experience I've never had a toasted muffin but from here on out I will never eat a muffin any other way. *Drink: Morning Meditation The morning meditation is like a hangover/cold/allergy reliever. The drink is strong and tasty. If you love ginger and fresh juice try this be careful while you drink though. The drink does stain. Overall this restaurant deserves an A+. I tried the hibiscus limeade and I liked how different it taste. I can see myself drinking it whenever I visit, but since it's a summer menu I'm not sure how long it will be available for. For entree, I had the elote Mexican street corn hash. If you are not a chorizo person, know that you can substitute for a different item. I chose bacon instead of the chorizo and it was worth it. I came here for the first time with my friends and my Big. We came here on Tuesday noon. The place had a good enough people but wasn't super super busy. I got BLT Eggs Benedict with side salad. Compare to the photos, my dish looked like they just threw my stuff together. My salad was place over my eggs benedict. Looked like it was part of my salad. Towards the end of my salad, it had a strong taste of the dressing. Looking and tasting the salad kinda made me wished I got potatoes instead. The eggs benedict was pretty good. The bacon was crispy and not too hard. The white whip was nice and bouncy soft. My eggs weren't really runny. They were more towards kinda cooked with a slight of running. I only two small avocado slices but they look like they were getting old soon. Kinda disappointed with the display of dish after I saw other eggs benedict photos on yelp. I hope next time, my dish won't look like this. My friend next to me got the works, it looked pretty good and tasted pretty good. My two other friends liked their skillets but wished the cheese wasn't all the way in the bottom. The day glow and kale tonic was pretty good and fresh. Kale tonic tasted really fresh and sour tangy on the side. You definitely taste the ginger in day glow. Two really good drinks. The server spilled the day glow a little bit on my friend's chair and little bit on table. Took awhile for the server to get napkins after we asked three times. First, I love First Watch. Every one that I've been to has top notch service and the food is always good and consistent. This location though....! I hadn't been to this FW location, which serves the UCF community, in months because it's always so crowded and the wait is eternal -- it sounds like a bad thing but that's really a good thing. I mean: who would wait around and/or come back for bad service or food?? Exactly! Our plan was to get to FW by 8 AM (UGH!) so that friends who were visiting from Atlanta could get on the road ASAP. Since we got there so early, I was able to reeeeally see the room. It looks very different from other FW's. They all pretty much have the menu specials on their chalkboard but this one has detailing on the walls reminiscent of an HGTV remodel and nice hardwood (or they at least look like hardwood) floors. There were 8 of us total and I went in and got us seats and we were able to get the 10 top with bar stools. I almost didn't take it because I thought that the bar height was the average bar height but this was like a "junior bar height" it was pretty cozy. So the food: I got the shrimp and grits minus the sausage...again and it was good AGAIN which kind of scares me because I really don't want to get hooked on them because there is a very real possibility that I will stop by and order them for lunch since FW -and I believe all FW's- closes at 2:30. We actually checked into the waitlist on Yelp about 15 minutes prior to arriving, checked in with the hostess, and were sat immediately. No waiting, because we did that while we were driving over. ;) The service was a little slow, but it was Sunday brunch time. Understandable. I had the avocado toast with a pitcher of coffee. I can't think of a better combination for late breakfast/brunch. The eggs were sunny-side up, and done well. There was a little too much avocado on the toast for my liking (like actual full, in-tact pieces of avocado) but after taking some off and mashing the remaining up, the toast was great. The bread was really good too - hearty, not too toasted. My boyfriend had the Elevated Egg Sandwich and tomato basil soup. I did not hear any complaints from him, so that's definitely a good sign. It cost us about $30 total, including tip, which wasn't bad at all. If you want some healthy choices at reasonable prices, I would certainly try it for breakfast or lunch! read more

Having come here for years, they recently redesigned the interior. Taking the farm to table theme to their decor, it has a more rustic feel. Tables are now wood topped, and they even have a communal table. I like the new decorations, its less iHop-y and more trendy. Our wait was not long, they took my phone number to text me when ready, and we waited no more than 7-8 minutes. The free coffee pot at the front is still there too. Once seated, I enjoyed their menu. They have a new item, Millionaire bacon. So amazing! Its crispy, covered in a maple glaze. Must try! The blt benedict I ordered was tasty. Topped with bacon arugula tomato and avocado. Very fresh. The side can be field greens or potatoes, I chose potatoes. They are breakfast potatoes. I would prefer them to be crispier , but they had a nice flavor. Overall, always a good experience there. WOW, we had a great lunch. A former work colleague and I always meet at First Watch, every few months, for lunch. Today, we both got there early; and, were seated immediately... just before the lunch crowd! The store still looks great. This time, we both got the Morning Meditation, which is a Tumeric-infused Lemonade - I had mine sweetened with Beet Juice; but, my dining companion took a pass. Our server gave us plenty of time to talk and decide on lunch; and, we both ended up with the Two for You -- half of a sandwich (Grilled Ham and Cheese for me) and a cup of soup (Chicken Chilli for me!) Pricing is similar to other eateries; but, portions are a bit small. Still, the meal was very satisfying and very very tasty. The drinks command a premium price, running half the price of our lunch - and, no refills! We just had a great time catching up on old times and current events. read more
