I've always received great service and yummy food coming to this location. I enjoy the variety in the menu and think the pricing fits both what you're getting and your portion sizes. The location is easy to find, however, parking and navigating is quite the struggle on a busy morning. My wife and I rarely go out for breakfast - usually the day's most unimaginative meal. Going to this restaurant has opened up new possibilities. Jennifer took great care of us. My wife had the Modern Croque Madam which she shared with me. This was simply amazing, featuring a sunny side up egg over Challah bread with fresh tomato slices, two cheeses and crispy bacon with a modicum of Parmesan cream sauce atop. I had the Brisket Corned Beef Hash topped with two sunny side up eggs. This dish had lots of meat along with perfectly cooked potatoes and peppers. I also have to give props to the management staff. Went to breakfast with my family. We ordered breakfast tacos, Homestyle Hash, Million Dollar bacon, kids Greek yogurt and kids waffle. Each dish was very flavorful, not over powering and made you so full you felt like you needed to roll out. The person at the front was very welcoming. Our waitress was very nice and kind. Horrible customer service. Have placed orders here and they are consistently wrong/somehow lost and they wasted an hour of our time waiting for a to go order. Today I called to try to place an order despite this happening in the past and they wouldn't answer the phones for 30 mins, I finally get though and they tell me that we can't place any orders even though they don't close for 3 hours?? First time here and it was yummy! Monday around 11am was a pretty full place, but I was seated right away. Food took a little long to arrive and the waiters were rarely seen, but that was OK. Love that the Yelp app lets you know how long the wait is and that you can get on the wait list without having to be there in person. It was 9:30 am on a Sunday and we were driving around looking for a place to eat. Initially we thought we'd try out a brunch place that doesn't have a location in Tucson for something different. As soon as we drove up to this place though we saw a horde of people waiting outside. Nope - not worth it. We were hungry! Searched on Yelp and saw this First Watch location had a 14-20 min wait so I got on the wait list online right then in the car. When we got to the restaurant I checked in with the hostess and got a text 10 min later that our table was ready. What a painless way to get a table for Sunday breakfast! This place has always been on my bucket list to try & I'm so happy I did! It was hard to decide what to get because of all the options to choose from. I ordered the banana foster French toast and it was SUPER yummy a little on the sweet side but that's to be expected lol, a family member of mine ordered the lemon ricotta pancake it was HUGE honestly it was big enough to share!! Had good flavor, fresh fruit & the tart yet sweet ricotta on top. My other family member ordered the savory pesto chicken quinoa bowl it was bomb!! Love this place. They are always quick. We've gone a few times since moving to this area and love it. The servers are always super quick and attentive. Never have a long wait. I do order the same thing every time I go. The eggs Benedict. It comes on a ciabatta bread and is just so different in a good way. The ham is thinly sliced and the sauce is soooo good. It has a really great hint of lemon. There entire menu has a artisan twist to it. It's not your standard dinner food - it has an upscale clean eating twist. First watch is always our go to breakfast- from simple two egg breakfasts to decadent crab avocado toast. Yesterday, Hubby and I had mid day brunch and it was sooo good. We both ordered waffles and omg, YUM!! The waffles are so airy and crisp with a side of nice warm maple syrup. We also ordered the million dollar bacon, extra crispy of course, and loved it as well. Our favorite server, Amber, is one of the best servers we've had in years- she never misses a beat and goes out of her way to make sure we're enjoying our food. Saturday mornings are for mimosas and brunch. Too bad this place does not serve mimosas! We came to First Watch after receiving a coupon in the mail for. BOGO free special. Since I got up early on a Saturday and we had nothing else going on, we stopped in for some juice and for some eats. I had good the Root Down (a mixture of beets, ginger, and other stuff) and the BLT Eggs Benedict. My juice was gingery goodness that woke me right up! All signs of drowsiness was gone. As for eggs benedict, they were okay. The eggs were overcooked and didn't ooze and delicious yolk when cutting in half. It failed that test completely. The hollandaise also wasn't as lemony or creamy as I prefer but I did enjoy all the fresh greens on the plate. They were both served on a piece of toasted buttery bread instead if the traditional muffin which I enjoyed since it gave it some texture. Bacon was cooked perfectly and I was satisfied. All in all, I wouldn't mind stopping in again but they definitely need work on the eggs benedict. 3.5 stars! read more

First watch is a consistently good breakfast spot. And for me consistency is everything. I had the bacado which is an omelet with bacon, cheese and avocado with a little dollop of sour cream on top. I think it is really tasty!!! The potato's it comes with is perfectly cooked meaning all the potatoes are soft and no hard spots and it has a really nice flavor. They have really good toast too! Their wait staff is so so but nothing to stop me from coming back here again. I would highly recommend this place. read more

Well, I stopped in on my way back from an appointment. I had been wanting to try this place for some time, so I thought I should give it whirl! The greeter was not that friendly! It should be a poached eggs, Canadian bacon, England muffin with hollandaise sauce. No tomatoes! No brioche bread! No shaved ham! IJS! Back to the food, my eggs were over cooked! The best part of any Eggs Benedict is the runny egg yolk and these poached eggs were more like soft boil eggs! Ugh! Also, my bacon tasted old, like it had been cooked about an hour or so before and left under a hot light. The only part of my meal that was good was the potatoes! They were quite tasty!! Stopped in here with a friend for a quick breakfast before getting back on the road again. I ordered the lemon pancakes and he ordered the super food bowl. Both meals were very tasty and just the right size. The lemon ricotta pancakes were just the right portion size. Taste was great - nice and fluffy with both lemon and ricotta flavours coming through. My only complaint was the lemon curd spread on top was very artificial in look and flavour. Otherwise it was a great meal. It was about 3-4 months ago when I first went to a first watch for brunch. It was pretty good and freshly made, I figured I would give it a try since there's is a location so close to our house. This weekend I ordered breakfast for my kids and myself to share. We did order to go food, but living about 3 minutes away...I figured it would be perfect and we would be able to get on with your afternoon activities quickly without me needing to mess up the kitchen. WELL I SHOULD HAVE JUST MADE MY OWN FOOD! We placed an online order at about 8:30 - says it will take 25 min... We arrive by 9 and it was "still not ready" the front was crowded and the host was busy. He stated "yeah they are all waiting on to go food too , it's coming" - meanwhile did not even take my name or look into the system to assure my order was even in there. Had he done so I wouldn't have been waiting for an extra 15-20 minutes only to realize that , they allowed Someone else to take my order of the shelf !!! How do you not monitor the to go food? Anyone can just walk in and grab it and go? I get it you're busy, we all are. Hence the reason to place a pick up order. Fast forward another 10 minutes when they realized they gave my food away. The middle aged gentleman at the host stand was not apologetic or concerned, he appear to care at all. They re-placed my order and it was another 10 min of waiting to get the food. By the time we arrive home its 10am!!!! Our event we planned to be at started at 11!! This place is only 3 minutes away and we waiting basically an hour to get to go food we ordered an hour and a half prior. Only to get home and have overly runny eggs and par-cooked bacon when asked for crispy and over medium eggs. Forgot the additional notes we placed with the original order - their outlook was just make the food on the fly and get them out of here. Needless to say I am extremely disappointed with the customer service, the food and their processes to insure customer satisfaction for guests NOT dining in the restaurant. We are still guests too. YES after allll that ; I ended up still paying FULL PRICE for our meal and wasting almost an hour and a half waiting for sub par food. I could have come to Albertsons and made better quality in the time it took me just to wait. Very disappointed and I will not be returning. Especially to this location, the lack of concern or desire to even inquire on my order upon entering should have been red flag enough. I will be sharing my experience with others and hope to see changes to your procedures to provide better service to all guests. read more
