Food always comes out so quick and fresh. Got seated really fast, server came quick, love the free wifi. Bacado is always my go to.

Honey caramel crunch

First Watch has had quite the rebrand since I last visited years ago. We had one in my hometown I use to frequent growing up, but I was surprised (and impressed) to see the new design and menu. It's very clean and simple while still feeling welcoming and homey. It was a nice day so we sat on the patio which was lovely. To drink I ordered the honey caramel crunch iced coffee which was seriously a dessert! It's sweet, but not in a sickly way -- it was really good! For my meal I went with the million dollar breakfast sandwich from the fall menu. A grilled english muffin is topped with sausage, bacon, over-easy eggs, Wisconsin Gouda, arugula, and hot honey. The hot honey really tied the sandwich together, and everything tasted so fresh! The potatoes I got on the side were crispy and filling. Would absolutely come back for a delicious, fresh breakfast!

Brunch perfection! We were in town for a wedding and looking for a reasonably priced brunch spot that could accommodate a group -- First Watch absolutely delivered! They seated our party of 7 with only a short wait, which was impressive on a busy weekend morning. The service was top notch from start to finish: friendly, efficient, and on top of everything. Our food came out quickly and every dish was delicious -- fresh ingredients, generous portions, and beautifully presented. You could really tell they take pride in what they do. Whether you're local or just passing through, this place is a solid choice for brunch. We'll definitely be back next time we're in town!

I quite like First Watch! We don't go often but it's always been good! It's super packed on weekends though!

Wonderful meal and service! Be sure to get the pecan chicken salad! It's fabulous! Have it with a non alcoholic purple haze for a special treat!!!

Bacado Omelette

Best breakfast ever!! I loved the variety on their menu. It wasn't easy to make a choice, but I had the Bacado Omelette, which consisted of crispy bacon, loads of avocado and cheese. This was accompanied by the tastiest pico de gallo I have ever had! You get to pick a side and I had the fresh fruit along with their freshly baked bread. The service was great and I can't wait to return!

Million Dollar Bacon

Great food at reasonable prices. Who would have thought it possible. Apparently the owners of First Watch do and put it into practice. Service super friendly and attentive. If you don't try the million dollar bacon you're missing nirvana. Nice ambiance, large inside and outside tables too.

Million dollar harvest hash

Big First Watch fans, such a reliable chain establishment! We frequented a location in Arvada, CO when we lived there and it's comforting to step into the Mequon location and receive the same aesthetics and experience. Service is never urgent, but the quick food output makes up for it. I always get the Morning Meditation juice, it's the perfect balance of tart & sweet to quench your thirst. This visit I tried a seasonal item, the million dollar harvest hash, and it was 10/10!! Keep up the great work.

First Watch offers a lot of fresh options, and the service was attentive and quick. The restaurant has a farmhouse feel and is worth the wait during busier times. A nice option they provide during high volume times is the online "join waitlist" feature, which allows you to add your name to the list ahead of your visit, which once you check in at the restaurant puts you ahead of those who simply walk in. The Avacado Toast is my constant go-to. It's a healthier option in a perfect serving size.

First time at First Watch and I'm excited to go back. I tried the pick 2 lunch - got a half sandwich and soup. The tomato soup was pretty spot on and the roast beef with horseradish was delish. Very cute interior - very farm to table. The tables were pretty spaced out and it wasn't too busy at lunch. Our server was friendly and attentive. You pay at the register at the front so it seems much more like a breakfast place. Can't wait to go back and try something new!

When i walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff seemed super nice, and were diligent about helping all orders ahead of me pretty fast paced. I've been dealing with a lot (hence the appointments mentioned) so finding new food places (and food places that are GOOD) always serves as a pick-me-up. I ordered a tuna melt, muffin, and hibiscus iced tea...that tuna melt was so good I completely forgot about taking a picture of it. But the banana chocolate chip muffin and iced tea were also some of the best morning goodies I've ever had. If it wasn't so much of a hike from where I actually live, I'd probably be an everyday regular here. Definitely delicious and would recommend visiting.

Could there be a better reason to stuff your face full of bread? Friendship Cafe and Bakery hits like home with a mixed staff who are warm, friendly and really are overjoyed to be at work. Some of which are actual graduates of the 12 month employment training program Friendship runs for adults with disabilities to get placed in amazing work environments to support themselves and make (guess what) FRIENDS. The cafe makes coffee drinks, refreshers, teas and other beverages along with every baked good you can dream up. Muffins, cake pops, cookies, cakes, bagels, strudels and delicious loaves of bread. This place also caters any mealtime and touts being able to provide menus that can be: nut free, Kosher, gluten free and dairy free. Customization is key and what they're there for! The distinguished Head Pastry Chef, Tara Forosisky-Benito, puts all her passion into her baked goods and breads. She's worked on this particular sourdough starter perfecting its makeup for a little over 5 years! And to make sure that the kitchen is always performing at the highest quality and speed, she's always 20 steps ahead in terms of prep and early mornings. I got a peek inside the kitchen after I heard all about their nonprofit mission and you could see the creativity popping and the drive to support some of the fellow employees was apparent. Oh, did I mention there's an art studio space, too? As if they aren't doing enough, they host art and little workshops like the popular "Art and Baking" for kiddos in the Fall. This cafe is remote work friendly (free WiFi!), has delicious drinks and baked treats all while supporting an important cause. Will definitely be making a bunch of trips back!

My husband joined me on the trip and picked up some high-quality cinnamon. This will not be our last trip. Hope to see you soon, Lisa! Points for the name, borrowed from the nearby trail and surely eliciting squeals of delight from the old school train crowd! Front of the house staff were very friendly and patiently explained the different pastry options on offer--many of which looked amazing. First we went with breakfast; my brioche egg sandwich was quite good though my husband found his english muffin sandwich to be bland and unremarkable. Unfortunately, their food system needs some work. I ordered the sandwiches for dine in with my name. The kitchen staff prepares the orders, hurriedly mumbles a name on their way out of the kitchen and unless you are standing in the right spot to hear him, you don't know if that's your order or not. Making matters worse, our food was prepped to go. Staff did offer to plate it, but it seemed silly to also dirty dishes and plastic containers so we declined the offer. The pastries are really where Interurban shines! I had half of my husband's cinnamon roll three days later and it was amazing. Like Costco cinnamon roll amazing. And my roasted pineapple cheese danish was phenomenal the next day hot out of the toaster oven! I was going to take a picture but I devoured it before my wits were totally about me, so you'll just have to take my word on that one.

Food: I checked online before coming, and they have an impressive list of drinks, both hot and cold. We ordered a couple of lattes. Mine was a London Fog Tea Latte (a little lavender, a little vanilla) in a mug, and hers was a Coffee Vanilla Latte with almond milk. They did a great job with both of them. My London Fog had great flavor, well-textured foam, and was a good temperature. They did leave the tea bag in, which might be their standard practice, but I prefer the tea to be fully steeped and then have the bag removed. Otherwise, removing the bag later messes with all the wonderful foam (next time I would ask). Each of us got a scone. Mine was blueberry, and hers was white chocolate raspberry, warmed up and plated. Both were very good. If I had to be completely honest, these scones are more like muffins than traditional scones. However, they were both delicious. Service: As soon as we walked up to the counter, it was nothing but friendly vibes and helpful service. They stepped us through the details of the order ("whole milk okay, how much flavor, etc."). They didn't rush the orders and took their time getting them right. When the bakery items were heated up, they brought them to our table. I always got the feeling that they truly appreciated us being there. Atmosphere: The building is a quaint, wonderfully maintained historic brick building. There are café tables outside that would be great on a warmer day. When you enter, you are taken back in time. The vibe is authentic and relaxed. Much of the interior looks like it may be from long ago. It's a bit cluttered, which could be distracting, but I think it fits. There are enough windows to bring in a good amount of natural light. The counter has a large array of pastries, muffins, cookies, etc. The main area doesn't have a lot of seating, and I did find it a bit loud. There is a separate seating area toward the back with several more tables and much less noise, which is where we sat. A very good first visit. Would definitely come back again.
