Avocado Toast
Amanda S.

We met family visiting in town at First Watch on Broadway this past weekend. We arrived at 8:30 and there was plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. First watch also has high chairs and stands for infant carriers - both of which we used! The menu featured your standard breakfast/brunch options & also offered the nutritional information which is helpful in making dining choices! I had the avocado toast with 2 eggs - it was great and a good portion size with plenty of avocado. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their breakfast as well- our 2 year old particularly enjoyed his HUGE biscuit and cheesy eggs!

We decided to go here for breakfast (I've been wanting to go for the longest time). When we first walked in I thought we're going to have to wait to be seated but no we were seated right away. The hostess was very friendly and so was the server . I ordered the pumpkin spice pancake platter and when it arrived I thought to myself I can't eat the whole thing but I did ! The server came with a warm bottle of real maple syrup as well . It was sooo good ! My friend had two eggs over easy , breakfast sausage and potatoes (she said the potatoes were really good ). For as busy as it was the dining room didn't seem to be loud at all.(I think everyone was enjoying their brr as much as we were ). They do have outdoor seating which I would have been just as happy to sit outside as well.

Traveling from Dallas. Fantastic service all around, server was Jade. Food was fast and good.

Ordering here will lead your taste buds to doing the happy dance!! I ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The lemon and strawberries made the perfect mix of sweet and sour. It was so moist and a perfect compliment to the pancakes. The Chicken Apple Sausage was perfectly seasoned and so flavorful.

My 1st visit at this location. I really recommend taking a look at seasonal menu. There is usually some really good stuff there. Mine came with a cup of fruit & it was summer right of the vine fresh. Never go wrong with breakfast here.....

Came here for a quick brunch with my husband and daughter. Very family friendly environment. Had indoor or outdoor patio seating. Tons of different craft drink options both alcoholic and nonalcoholic. My husband went with an iced Mint Mojito type coffee and I got iced coffee. His mint coffee was very delicious with lots of flavor, not overly minty, you can still taste your coffee. My iced coffee, I had to verify it didn't have alcohol in it, because it tasted like it had some. I'm thinking they use a coffee concentrate because when I added more water to my iced coffee that weird alcohol flavor went away. My husband and I both got French toast with the berry jam on the side (definitely use it, it's delicious). And my daughter destroyed her blueberry pancake which ended up being ginormous. Overall a great experience, the coffee thing put me off a little bit. The service was great and very attentive! Hoping to come back and update a review!

What a delicious find. To get both quantity and quality is rare but First Watch offers both. My Lemon ricotta pancakes were magical.

We like. First Watch is a small chain in KY/OH. Hoping they emigrate to TX soon. Great menu. Great service. Great food. Cocktails are a little weak.

Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. These are amazing!!! The customer service is always excellent with amazing food!:)

Amazing food and customer service. Their variety is such an amazing far stretch. I would highly recommend coming here!

Went there this week for a business meeting at around 11:30am. My colleague ordered French toast with a generous sprinkling of sugar. What came was a very boring looking platter with extra sugar dumped on it. The French toast looked very dry and not appetizing at all. I, on the other hand, ordered their pancake with lemon curd. It was very good! Right balance of sweet n sour in the curd. Now for the negatives... even though not that full, the service was slowwww. The place could've been cleaner... looked very strange to be that littered at 11:30am on a Tuesday morning. The young girl serving us never brought fresh coffee. We were there for almost 1.5 hrs and she never bothered to refresh the coffee until I asked her to do so as the old coffee in the carafe was cold as ice! Also, I observed 2 servers freshening up the tables and the way they were handling clean glasses (touching them on the top) grossed me out. The FirstWatch in Richmond Road is a much better bet...

Fresh and tasty breakfast food. Good selection and great ingredients. Friendly staff and clean restaurant. We used to do the breakfast thing when visiting the inlaws, at Denny's but now this is our go to spot.

A good place for brunch. There are a lot of healthy options, their fresh preserves are really good. It is a little pricey for what it is.

We had reservations but ended up getting there early and just had our dinner at the bar. We both had cocktails which we enjoyed along with the deviled eggs for an appetizer. The eggs were okay--a bit spicier than I would have preferred and I would probably try a different app next time I go (there will be a next time for sure!) My shrimp and grits were great but honestly the bourbon glazed wings that my fiance had were the show stoppers. Large sized wings that were smoked perfectly with the right amount of crunch topped with a sweet but not too sweet bourbon glaze. I will definitely get those next time I go. The vibes were casual and chill--the perfect place to pre-game before a game or event or the perfect place to meet friends for a drink. I'd definitely recommend!

The fried duck rangoon is a delicious option (unless you just don't like cream cheese), but the fattiness carries the sauce so well. Also, tacos are always a good option - Taco Tuesday specials are so worth it. Lots of service options (to go, at the bar, sit down service). You can even get a delivery to Beer Trappe! Everyone has been super nice every time we've gone and very helpful even with silly questions. It can get kinda loud, especially on event nights, but outdoor seating is great when the weather is nice!

I must admit when I saw the size of her donuts I laughed because they were so big. Long story short what she got was a cronut not the traditional cake donut. Previously I've had the raspberry filled donut there and it was really good. The caramel turtle is also a cronut. She asked what kind of dough it was my guess was brioche because of the texture. I could be wrong. I liked my donut although it was a little messy to eat . My friend on the other hand didn't care for the cronut. The coffee though is always on point and it didn't disappoint. As for customer service they really are on point. I've been there a total of three times so far and every time they've been friendly and patient. Plenty of seating indoors and on the patio. I think after 1 pm they do donuts made to order (I didn't see the sign when we first walked in until after we placed our order). I just thought they sold out but the woman at the counter told me they do made to order.

Fair warning to anyone with even a shred of restraint: you will lose it the moment you take your first bite.
