Loved the place. First time my wife and I have eaten at one. Delicious! I got the Skillet Hash - Parma (Italian Sausage, potatoes, eggs, etc.) and she got the Chia granola pudding with fresh fruit. We also go a side order of crispy, perfectly cooked bacon. Both of us really loved the dishes. We will be back soon. The place was clean, the service polite and speedy. This is the first time I have been here and it was excellent. We walked in and were immediately seated then a few moments greeted by our server Jazz who was fantastic! Came here for brunch on Saturday. We were seated promptly, but sat for several minutes before my husband approached seven employees at the host stand, asking if we could get some service. Our server was taking care of a large table and wasn't able to get to us. Unfortunately no other employee was aware that we were left stranded. After speaking up, service turned around for the positive quickly. The food was tasty! I had the Key West Crepeggs with fresh avocado and bacon and thought it had nice fresh flavors. The food was great but the service was EXTREMELY disappointing. Not worth the $60 we spent. We never got any water, we were not asked if our drinks needed to be refilled, weren't asked how the food was, if it came out okay, or if we needed anything else. No one seemed to pay attention. Once we did flag someone down to get syrup, my pancake was cold and I had to walk to find someone to get me a box. Overall not a great experience. Maybe try another location. read more

First watch is a great place for breakfast or brunch with friends and family. They have many choices to appease even the pickiest of eaters. Lots of healthy choice options as well. Terrible customer service. Got a sandwhich with one egg on it. But the egg was maybe covering .2% of the bread and there was globe of gruyere cheese. I of course tell the waitress I am unhappy with eating a cheese sandwhich and she offers me another egg which she charges me for... I bring up it up the front desk and they say and extra egg costs more even tho the original plate did not have enough egg on it... if you want repeat customers this is not how you treat them. read more

This is a great breakfast place. Everything I have had has been terrific. My favorites are the chicken salad sandwich with tomato basil soup, the eggs benedict florentine, and the avocado, bacon, and tomato hash. You will not find better seasoned breakfast potatoes! My boyfriend keeps coming back for the chickichanga. The staff is generally friendly and attentive. The only time we received bad service was when we came during a rush and had a new waitress. This was a fabulously health option for diner food breakfast. Just went today and enjoyed cheesy grits and fruit, my wife had the triathlete (an egg white omelette packed with veggies). Our kids enjoyed huge chocolate chip pancakes, that did not look over packed with chocolate. The service was excellent, courteous, and quick. The gladly made a few substitutions for one of our party with an egg allergy. I would nosh here again in a heart beat and wish we had one of these where I live. read more

Always greeted with delightful humans, though on a Sunday for brunch I have waited up to 45-60 minutes but their complementary coffee, free wifi and hospitality make the wait go by quickly. I am very sad to write this review because I have dined at First Watch many times and never had a similar experience, but I was really disappointed with the service I had on Sunday. My mother and I went to brunch is is a special treat for us and decided to visit this establishment. We were told that it would be a 45 minute wait which was fine, but when we walked outside we noticed empty tables on the patio and informed the hostess that we would be more than happy to sit outside. She stated that is would not decrease our wait time and that it would still be a 45 minute wait. My mother and I waited over an hour for a table and in the meantime multiple tables outside stayed empty as well as a few tables inside. Once we were seated our waitress, the two times we saw her, was very short with us and slammed our glasses on the table which was very rude. On top of that, my coffee mug had stains on it from the previous drinker... Our food was then delivered by another waitress who then was unsure if we even received the correct dishes. I have to say that I got the AM Superfood Bowl which was very good, but at this point I was completely frustrated with the service I don't think I enjoy it as much as I could have. I believe it is safe to say that I probably won't be visiting this particular First Watch establishment again, which I hate to say because overall I have been happy with every other First Watch experience in the past. read more

My second time here was not as enjoyable as my first. The first time I came to this location the service was slow but reasonable, the food was nicely prepared and the experience was pleasant. This time, however, it took 10 minutes before anyone came over to take our drink orders! The eggs were overcooked and the rest of the food was cold. Very disappointed! First Watch has been around awhile and I hadn't made the effort to try it until today. I nearly didn't make it through the front door thanks to a disgusting man sitting in a wheelchair at the front door having just come out of the building. His injuries were obvious as he was barely covered by clothing. His disability was exposed as he cleared his sinuses and spat RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DOOR. A shout out to that guy--bad manners are a handicap only if you let them be! Ugh. We went in despite the nasty little man. I'm glad we did! The nicest host seated us and a waiter immediately brought menus and utensils. The menu, while not extensive, is varied and interesting. We chose soup and a sandwich. He had Italian wedding soup and a reuben whole I ate a BLTE and tomato basil soup. We agreed everything was very good (especially their tea). We will definitely be back and hope we see a more pleasant entrance next time. read more

My wife and I had a great breakfast at First Watch. I got the standard eggs over easy with bacon, potatoes, and bread, but it was cooked perfectly. The OJ was fresh squeezed. My vegan wife asked for a special breakfast not on the menu and they prepared it. This consisted of kale and carrots with a veggie burger cut up into bite sized pieces with a sun dried tomato topping served on a bed of quinoa with a pesto dressing. It was delicious. Our server was great. She engaged us in conversation and treated us as though we were the only people in the restaurant. I would eat at First Watch often if I lived in Lexington, and will when I visit. read more
