For the record the food, coffee and drinks they have here are great. However this last experience I felt like there may have been changes to what I use to be accustomed to when it comes to First Watch. As well all know most of the time there will be a wait in the mornings which was about 30 mins for us. It was extremely busy. Drinks wise we had the Morning Meditation and two other drinks which were from a brunch like cocktail menu. One was like the Purple Haze and the other a cinnamon ice coffee drink which were all very good. The food itself, underwhelm in size. The Trifecta I had which I wanted with sausage with it. Literally came with one sausage link and the scrambled eggs seemed like it was one egg that was used vs a normal portion of two eggs. The food was great but I was disappointed on the portions. However the Belgian Waffle never fails! Something else that was really unusual was that we found food on our new spoon when unwrapping it from the napkin. We asked for it to be replaced and we were given plastic utensils instead as they mentioned that they do not have any clean cutlery at the moment. To add to that, I ordered a second coffee and it was given to me in a plastic cup which they then stated that they didn't have any clean cups. Im not sure if this was due to being short staffed as they are always steadily busy which I have experienced but running out of clean utensils and cups is something new for myself at First Watch. read more

I love this first watch. I always go to this location or the Coral Springs one. We usually go on Saturday mornings around 10am. Sometimes there is a wait and sometime there isn't. The only issue is the parking area is a little tight. I recommend to park on the side of the restaurant instead of in front. It will be easier for you to leave. My go to is the Tri-Fecta. It usually comes with eggs (your choice of style), waffle or a multigrain pancake but I asked them for the French toast (no extra charge). Plus your choice of bacon, chicken sausage patty, turkey or pork sausage link. My go to has got to be the bacon. My sister got the farmhouse hash. It was flavorful. Overall the price is good, not to expensive. We always spend less than $30 including tip. The service is very good, they are very attentive and nice. I love this place. We have come here a bunch of times and the food is always good. This Sunday I tried the seasonal Banana Fosters French Toast. It was good, but too sweet as a meal. The Million Dollar Bacon is always a great starter. The elevated sandwich is delicious and their basic egg breakfasts are filling. The coffee is really good too. If it's too busy the food does take a little longer than normal, but First Watch is always a great option for Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch. Normally my fiancé and I eat inside but it was so packed we decided to order takeout. We a BLTE with a salad and a Monterey Club with potatoes. The BLTE bread was burned to a crisp, there was a single slice of bacon and the lettuce was mushy. As for the Monterey Club, the bread was not toasted and it was lacking in flavor. The potatoes were charred (which is typical it seems). I had to remake the food. For the price it was, it should have come properly made. As I mentioned earlier, we normally love to eat here. Yes Friday me and my friends went to first watch on commercial very nice. My first time one of the ladies in our group had a birthday and we enjoyed it. They had been there before, but this was my first time cause I'm always going to Denny's not to put Denny's down but first wash is the bomb. I choose this particular location because they had the less wait time than the others. I put my name on the waitlist and it said around 15mins for two people. My table was ready once I arrived. This location also has a small outside area. Inside area is not that big but a nice size and was clean. Food: They offer a nice variety of food. We order the Tri Fecta I gotten the Belgian waffles, bacon and substitute the eggs for fruits. My mom had the Tri Fecta and tried the pecan pancakes and carrots with bacon and eggs. We also decided to try the million dollar bacon. The food was delicious. The eggs were definitely farm fresh. The pancakes and waffles were yummy as well as the bacon. I liked the million dollar bacon but its not what I expected from the hype. Maybe because its a lot of syrup. The food was overall bomb! Service: My waitress Coral was excellent and very responsive to her tables. Very friendly and understanding from the beginning to the end. She knew it was our first time there so she tried to make everything right. She realized that the million dollar bacon they brought out was burnt without me even telling her. She quickly requested for another bacon to come out. She even went out her way and allowed us to sample different drinks they had to offer. I decided to go with the popular morning mediation drink. I liked all the drinks including the seasonal carrot crush. All of their drinks are healthy and they have a lot of healthy meal options. The morning mediation drink has orange, lemon, turmeric, organic ginger, agave nectar, and beet. This drink is more on the spicy side because of the ginger. An incredible breakfast/brunch spot. After numerous times of me trying to take my family to eat here, they decided to take me for my birthday. We headed over around 10, shortly after Mass, and the crowd was already starting to build. The place has a very modern/rustic feel to it, if that's a thing. It makes you feel very much at home. We were getting ready to order from the brunch menu, but we decided to get the birthday celebrations going first. I had a Bloody Mary, and the folks had the Pomegranate Sunrise. Our lovely server Jacklyn was very attentive and helpful in making recommendations for our meals. While everyone went with the variety of delicious frittatas, I went with the shrimp and grits. The grits were the perfect consistency. I did need to add a little hot sauce, and luckily they had their own homemade sauce. The shrimp were cooked just right as well. And the chorizo added a great smoky, spicy flavor as well. Everyone enjoyed their meal immensely. I really enjoyed the food, the service, the decor, the friendly wait staff, and the overall atmosphere. I haven't been to any of the other locations, but if they're anything like this, I would highly recommend it. The entrees are always fresh, healthy, and best of all they make it taste yummy. I have tried various items on the menu and each time I try something new I am always satisfied that I did. The works omlette is amazing, loaded with meats, veggies, cheese, and topped with sour cream. If you would like to stay on the light and healthy side you can have it with a side of mixed greens with lemon vinaigrette. The lemon vinaigrette is delicious. The yellow grits and homefries are also great choices as a side dish. The grits are cooked soft, creamy, and topped with butter. The homefries are real potato, seasoned, and pan fried, its definitely not the frozen, flash fried, preseasoned stuff. The frittatas are always good. Very light, fresh, and filling without the feeling of being overstuffed. I usually get the smoked salmon frittata served with mixed greens. Delicious! The benedict's are all awesome. You can choose from spinach, salmon, traditional, and BLT benedict. I love anything with a runny, gooey yolk dripping all over my plate. It's super satisfying to watch. Lol The chickichanga is also a favorite. It's a breakfast burrito with eggs, chorizo, chicken, onions, green chilies, cheese, and avocado wrapped in a crisp, pan fried, flour tortilla topped with a Vera Cruz sauce (similar to a hollandaise sauce) and sour cream. We enjoy having a good breakfast at First Watch. Their eggs are second to none. The ambience is modern and classy, the service is good, and their Avocado Toast is very good, with plenty of Avocado. They have a nice selection of healthy and/nutricional meals. I like the Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl, with Italian sausages, roasted mushrooms and tomatoes, kale, parmesan and EVOO olive oil, topped with two eggs. It's delicious and nutritious. I'm so happy that they have been building more of these in locations around by where I live. The food is always so fresh and amazing. However there are usually long waits and that's why I recommend downloading the app and putting your place in line for a smooth and easy sit down. They have tasty drinks too and in some locations they even offer alcoholic drinks which I haven't tried but I'm sure they're tasty. Me and mother visited this location on a busy but fast pace Tuesday. There was no wait which was great. The front seating person ran us to a table and literally ran away before I could verify where we were being seated. I had to go back to the front and ask where did he sit us. Im with an elderly person and him running ahead to sit us was odd. Once seated no waitress came to the table. Once again i had to go to the front to ask for assistance. I stopped by this First Watch location for a quick solo brunch after attending church earlier that morning. As a party of 1 I was immediately seated and served. My servicer Skyleen took my drink order and shortly after took my food order. I got two eggs any style, Turkey bacon, Home fries and a pancake. The order took about 15 minutes. The food was really just ok. Nothing too special. Further more, the pancakes and sausage were cold. And the potatoes were good but basically burnt. I noticed some pretty disgruntled customers seated next to me. Who complained they were waiting 40 minutes for their breakfast. It seems like the service could be a little better. My husband and I have been on a strict diet for the last few weeks and so this morning we felt like having breakfast and enjoying ourselves a little without thinking so much about carbs and calories but still keeping it healthy. First Watch is always the perfect choice for this. I have been to several of their locations but they are not that close to me. When I pulled up the Yelp app this morning I realized there is a couple more that have open which are way closer. It made me happy! This location is on Commercial Boulevard off of University Dr. The location itself is in a corner but there isn't a lot of space for outside seating. They do have a couple of tables but when you have a sidewalk full of people waiting to be seated it gets very crowded. I put our names on the waitlist before we left the house and by the time we got there we only had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. It was incredibly busy. Our food took very long but we had plenty of coffee and water to keep us occupied. Whenever you come here you have to get the avocado toast, it is simply the best I have ever had anywhere else. Everything I have tried I have enjoyed a lot. Today I had a triathlete omelette which was delicious, with some fresh fruit. Service is always great, like I stated above our food took very long but we were having a very nice time while we waited. The place is very upbeat and decor is very pleasing to the eye. All in all this is a great place. I am very glad that is only a mere 10 minute drive from my house and that I am able to put myself on the waitlist and they are very good at keeping you on line. We honestly did not like the pomegranate sunrise but the SPIKED LAVENDER LEMONADE was amazing!!! We were told 45min-1hr wait but me and my friend waited over a hour to be seated, super annoying and inconvenient. Typical breakfast spot with traditional options as well as their twist on favorites. While we waited I noticed a lot of customers with a orange and red drink so I asked about it and decided to give it a try. The Morning Meditation is fresh juice made with orange, lemon, organic ginger, agave nectar and beet. It was so good, refreshing, not too sweet and I love that the beets didn't overpower the whole drink. I ordered the Tri-Fecta it's two cage free eggs, belgian waffle or pancake (I got the pancake and added strawberries, bananas and whipped cream), bacon... you can get a chicken patty, turkey or pork sausage link instead. My breakfast was pretty good, my pancake was fluffy and firm. You can definitely taste the difference between cage free and regular eggs, these were so light and fresh. My bacon was literally cooked to perfection and just right. Staff was friendly and made sure that we had everything that we needed. First Watch is a family favorite for breakfast. This location is one of 3 that we visit, this location being most often. The food is consistently good, although not always prepared exactly as ordered. Over medium eggs seem to present a challenge, but the eggs are still good, and the white is fully cooked, so I don't complain. My sons like the options offered on the kids menu, but often chose the bigger options off the regular menu, especially if we are talking about their waffles. The bacon is a must, if you are a meat eater. I often order the traditional breakfast, and other times I go for one of their Hashes. I think my favorite is the Market Hash with goat cheese. They offer tasty pancakes as well, and have seasonal options. I like that you can get in line ahead of time, and definitely suggest you do so. On the weekend, there is usually a wait. The service is usually efficient, some days not so much, but overall, it is worth the wait. read more

I visited on 3/30/25 and expected more. The place was busy with a long wait. I ordered the Traditional...over easy eggs with crispy bacon, fresh seasoned potatoes and whole grain artisan toast. One of the eggs was complete cooked and hard (yet they were fried together), they bacon was not crisp and I don't know what was fresh or seasoned about the potatoes because they were tasteless and cold. Plus, the whole grain Artisan "Toast" was cold and NOT toasted. I barely ate anything but asked for new Artisan bread TOASTED because I was starving. Second toast was the same cold and not toasted. The only thing I ate was the one over easy egg. I have to blame this on the waitress and cooks. I don't think she wrote anything down or cared. I got some coffee and a Kale Tonic. The Kale Tonic is bomb! My friends got the Pineapple Express. Many people got the Pineapple Express while I was there so it must be good. On a different day I came in and got the Turkey Burger with a Banana Granola Crunch Pancake and sheesh. Packed with flavor and goodness with a splash of health. Can't get any better. It was surprisingly tough to find a good brunch place in this area but we were sure glad we came across this one!! Super cute rustic vibe, we were seated right away and ordered fairly quickly. We only had about an hour before we had to book it to the airport for our flight, but seriously didn't have to worry because it only took ten minutes or so from ordering our food to it arriving at our table! I got the Floridian French Toast with a freshly squeezed cup of orange juice and my husband got the Superseed Protein Pancakes with a cup of the Morning Meditation drink. I wasn't too impressed with my OJ to be honest but the French toast was absolutely amazing and definitely filling with a ton of fruit on top! Loved every bite!
