A newer type of concepts to a quick coffee run. Cali coffee has several locations that I've seen popping up around South Florida. The whole concept of Cali coffee is that they take only drive-through orders and there is no inside seating area. There are occasionally a couple of outside tables but not for long-term stay. They have drive-through or walk up service to order your coffee where you can park and then walk up to the window. They have different variations, different signature or coffees and different flavors. It does make grabbing a coffee an experience. The employees at cali coffee locations I noticed are very friendly, almost borderline where you think they might be flirting!! I'm giving this place 3 stars only because the service was fast and friendly. Everything else missed the mark. The coffee was mid at best with a hefty price tag. The breakfast sandwich was okay. The "muffin tops" were horrible. It was over $30 for two of us to have two breakfast sandwiches, coffee, and shared one muffin top. Overall just not my speed. Someone else may enjoy it and they had a steady flow of customers but I won't be back. read more

Great spot for a quick pick me up! The flavored ice coffee was smooth, refreshing and just what I needed. Staff was upbeat and friendly. We used the drive through but they also have a convenient walk up window available. Picnic tables set up outside on nice landscaped area. Building colors are blue and beige love the color scheme. We ordered the Nirvana iced coffee made with Chocolate and hazelnut gave me Nutella vibes but had mine with no sugar and added cold foam. Also ordered a cake pop. I liked how they have sprinkles. Better cake pops than Starbucks. Total for two Nirvana's and a cake pop a little over $17. Another pricey coffee. Was nice to try but I prefer my coffee hot. Natalie is the associate that took care of my family and I. We all ordered the Gold Rush iced and it was delicious. She asked me if I would like it sweeter and she added a drizzle of caramel and cold foam. I love this coffee and she had such amazing customer service and super welcoming. This coffee shop is amazing. I love that they have a drive thru. Nicole provided us with great customer service. She was very attentive. She even ask us let me know if your coffee is not sweet enough I can make it sweeter. I handed her my coffee to make it sweeter and she was nice and made it sweeter. This a a cute coffee shop that opened by my house. They have a drive thru and outside seating but no inside seating. It was fine this time of year because the weather is cool out. I tried the caramel and white chocolate gold rush iced coffee. I thought it was full of flavor and refreshing. I sat outside and listened to music while chatting with a friend. It had a great vibe with techno music playing while sippin your coffee. Its the only location in South Florida so glad they have brought Cali Coffee upon us. Good coffee, friendly staff and quick service. I ordered a nirvana hot coffee, and it was just the perfect amount of sweet. The brew is fairly strong, which I like. The stickers on the cup are a cute touch. The coffee is expensive - the thought of drinking a small specialty cup daily putting me back almost $40 a work week is crazy, but I realize this is on par with other coffee shops. read more

It looks like there is a small plaza right next door just built - I wonder what that will be. I really love this location. I came here to get coffee with my sister in law and I never tried it before because Im from NY so I was intrigued. She told me it was drive thru only so I thought that could either be good or bad depending on traffic. We got there and there was barely a line which was exciting. I ordered the cookies and cream frozen iced coffee and boy was it good. They drew a snowman on my cup which was cute even though it doesnt snow in So Fl lol. The only issue was my that my sister in laws frozen chai wasnt frozen enough and it was like too watery for her liking. However, mine was good so I think it depends on how much ice they put. This is absolutely dangerous to have a Cali Coffee right down the street from my house but I am not complaining!! Staff is friendly here just like all of their locations, service is as quick as it can be too. But keep in mind weekends and sticker days will be some extended wait times. Great vibes! Everyone is so cheerful here. I enjoy Cali because it's a more personal experience vs a Starbucks. The employees will ask you how your day is and have conversations with you while you wait for your drink. Each drink lid also has a nice hand written message on it to brighten your day. The matcha is good and you can customize the sweetness to your liking (3/4 sweet, 1/2, 1/4 etc.) My husband gets the Iced Beverly which has caramel. I also enjoy the free sticker day on the 1st and 15th of every month. When the drive thru line is long, I go the their walk up window. This was my first time coming and trying Cali Coffee. I love the new location in Tamarac as it is spacious and there's plenty of room to drive around. I really wanted to try their strawberry Matcha, which is their March special with the strawberry cold foam. I also had my pup in the car and was gifted a complementary pup cup for her. My strawberry Matcha latte with oat milk was really good and flavorful. I got the size small and I felt like it was still pretty decent. I am definitely going to be coming back now that it is so close to my house and trying a lot more the options. read more

I can't believe I haven't left a review for my favorite coffee shop yet! I just visited their newest location in Tamarac and figured it's time. Location : amazing! Huge drive thru, loads of parking, and lots of seating and even an area to play corn hole! My husband was just saying the other day he was surprised none of the other locations had one lol Their drinks are great. Hubby is a huge fan of their Hero zero energy drinks. I love their iced breves. Today I had a Beverly with their cold foam of the month Love Cali mainly because of the people. The sweetest and coolest staff. The staff truly make the experience--they're always so friendly, upbeat, and genuinely brighten my day. Every time I stop by, I leave with a smile (and a great coffee in hand). This place is over hyped. Coffee is mid. Dunkin and Starbucks are way better. We ordered the S'mores iced coffee, hazelnut and chocolate iced coffee and the Gold Rush iced coffee. To start off, when ordering from the app or even the drive through, the measurements of how sweet you want it is so confusing. What does 1/2,1/4, etc. mean when it comes to the level of sweetness? The s'mores at first tasted bland. Had to get more flavoring and no marshmallow topping(they said they didn't have it???). Flavoring was just more "mocha ". The hazelnut was so bland. Didn't taste like anything at all, just milked down. If you want good coffee, don't come here. Go to Dunkin or Starbucks. They are very friendly and the prices are typical. I just wish the iced lattes were better. Definitely not bad but no where near as good as Little Coffee Shop, Ella Cafe, or Aroma Joe's. I go because it's close to home and they are friendly and it's a bit better than what I can make at home. Maybe a better espresso brand would help? I was excited for this location to open, until I went through the drive through and found they had a weird set up where there's no speaker system by the digital menu to order from. Instead they make one of their employees stand outside and take orders from each car. The employees that I spoke with didn't seem to mind, but I honestly think this isn't a good idea. This is Florida and it rains constantly, especially in storm season (they told me when it rains that a manager or team lead will take the orders, but that doesn't erase the issue of making a person stand in the rain). Also, again it's Florida and it can get very hot (it's early spring and the days are already reaching the high 80s), so making some employees take orders in the hot sun doesn't feel right. (Again an employee said they're only required to stay outside for 30 minutes at a time, but that can feel like a long time when the temperature reaches the 90s. Also are the employees wearing sunscreen? Are they drinking water when they go inside?) I understand that this is something they do at all their locations, but it doesn't seem like a good business model. I will say that all the employees were nice and answered my questions politely, so I am in no way criticizing them. My issue is with the company. read more
