Cali Coffee was founded in 2018 in Broward County by Craig Avera and Rose White who met each other while working in the fitness industry. Cali Coffee is not your classic coffee house where you can set up your laptop and work a spell or hang out. Instead it is for people on the go with a walkup window and drive through. They have now expanded to six locations including Stuart and Miramar and they will be opening 12 more soon all over the state. I first tried Cali Coffee in Cooper City and really enjoyed it. In addition to coffee they also have on their menu fruity drinks, energy drinks iced tea, soda and shakes. They also have a kids menu with a featured shake flavor and a few pastries. We were headed home and my friend suggested stopping by to try their new iced coffee. We had been sitting outside in the heat for a few hours and an iced coffee sounded perfect. Like all of their coffee drinks the iced coffee is highly customizable with many favors to chose from, toppings like sprinkles, syrup drizzles, cookie crumbs, and cold foam for an additional charge. My friend was able to order our drinks on the app so we only had a short wait when we arrived. I chose a Irish cream frozen coffee with cinnamon sprinkles and a caramel drizzle. I like that you can even customize the percentage of sweetness. In this heat, a frozen coffee from Cali is the perfect way to caffeinate this summer. read more

I am not sure how I haven't reviewed Cali Coffee yet but glad they are making their way around this side of Broward! Staff is always friendly and they love to chat it up with you. It's quite refreshing from the typical fast pace drive thru starbucks or dunkin. Every location has been a hit but this North Lauderdale one has been my go-to lately, I cannot wait for the location in West Tamarac to open in March. The staff at this location are always friendly, and provide recommendations when you are feeling indecisive. My favorites: Iced cookies and cream coffee, with all the fixin's (chocolate drizzle, cold foam, cookie dust). It's definitely a chocolate lovers dream but the coffee balances it so well. Iced Rose Water, either as a soda or with green tea. This is a hit every time, what's not to love about strawberry and watermelon flavors? Add some glitter for an extra cute drink! Best iced coffee I've tried in a while!!! Like amazing. I usually have low expectations for coffee places simply due to the fact that it's either too sweet or too bland. I also have a hard time getting recommendations from staff regarding their best sellers. However, I asked the cashier her recommendation and she mentioned Gold Rush was very popular so I decided to try it since it was my first time there. I added the marshmallow cold foam and it was perfect! They also have a table you can sit at being that it is a walk up and drive thru which is cool. Very chill environment. Just found out about this Cali coffee location. I knew about the other south location but rushed over once my mom told me about this one. I went in the afternoon and it wasn't busy. I was quickly serviced in the drive thru. Friendly patience staff. The girl who took my order adored my dogs and offered them pup cups. I ordered the Gold Rush (iced) which is white chocolate and caramel. It was delicious! The only downside is it water down fairly quick. I liked that I was asked if I was okay with the milk it came with. She also asked me if I was reward member. I do love cali coffee and will definitely return back to this location. read more

Last order taker did not really listen to my order or my comment about how quickly Cali's coupons expire. My drink order that time seemed difficult to her but is an easy order. I started figuring out the coupons I receive from here from time to time AKL expire at the 24-hour point. I remembered Cali would be open on Thanksgiving Day today which meant I'd have enough time to head over after the holiday meal before 3 pm Cali closure. I also noticed I had a new text from Cali with a coupon. Maybe this would be the time it would be available to me. As I approached the drive-thru I noted my coupon was expired. Only one car ahead but due to a personal conversation between the Tesla driver and employees it took a long time to order. While ordering and as I was in middle of my order the window attendant thought of interjecting to ask "do you want any sugar?" I said "no" and continued with the all-imall-important milk choice asking for Unsweet Almond Milk. Turns out Cali does not offer my type of Almond milk; only Almond Milk which is "sweetened." Soon my iced cortado was presented and it was in a big plastic cup and appeared to be a full-milk (sugared nnut milk) latte. It had a thoughtful note on it. Overall, I enjoyed the drive and friendly service. The drink tasted ok but seemed to be a latte and not a iced cortado as I really wanted. When I held my Android operated phone out at window to scan for my loyalty I was offered the chanc d to pay with Apple Pay, something I don't pay wiwith ever. 4 stars for friendly service and kind note on the cup. read more

I went through the drive-thru when I arrived and it wasn't too long of a wait. Lots of great options and flavors of coffee/syrups if you like sweet coffees. I ordered an iced Nirvana and added caramel drizzle. The service is very friendly. I'm personally more of an iced black kind of person, and I wish they had more food options. Got a chai tea and iced coffee from Cali Coffee. Really like the positive message they write on the drinks. I recommend doing drive thru if it's very hot as they don't allow you to wait inside and you order through a walk-up window. This coffee shop has been on my list and I decided to give them a try this morning. They have a walk up window and a drive-thru. Walking up and hearing upbeat music really uplifting my mood. Robin greeted me with the biggest smile and when I told her it was my first visit she was so helpful and gave great suggestions. Since it was my first visit I decided to order a Chai Latte with Oatmilk and cinnamon power on top. I'm used to liquid Chai but at Cali Coffee they use a powder and I was pleasantly surprised, it was amazing. The flavor was not too spicy with a hint of Vanilla. I had such a great experience today and will be returning to try other menu items. My experience was so personal as they write a cute little note on the lid of your cup and I also got a cute sticker that I can add to any of my electronics. read more

Their frozen coffee is the best around. A little pricey at $6 for a small, but I splurge on occasion for a treat.

So happy for a new location. They legit have the best and most bubbly employees ever. As a business owner, I thought it would be helpful to offer some feedback to this location based on my recent experiences. i usually love Cali Coffee because I've grown to expect how wonderful the customer service is. But I've noticed with the recent growth with staff, customer service is starting to drift in a negative direction. On 2 separate occasions, both unacceptable behaviors. Arriving this morning for my drink, I was not greeted and the girl at the window was very short and I'm very clear when I speak but I had to repeat my drink multiple times. To the point, I had to stop to ask her if she was okay. The entire interaction felt very unwelcoming which is very unlike the experience I'm used to. The other occasion, last week you have staff huddled at a window recording a homeless woman minding her business. Why??? Very weird and he knew it was weird by the expression on his face. Anyway, it's unfortunate and disappointing because this location is the most convenient for me. I've been getting cali coffee since 2018 and it literally never misses. i'm so so happy there's a location 5 minutes from my job, as there's none near my house. Best coffee by a company of honest people. i feel way better giving them my money over bigger companies due to their authenticity and amazing drinks. You can customize your drink to your liking! Only thing id say would be the fact that they use half and half for their lattes. Imo it makes it a bit too heavy for my liking, but at least there's no up-charge for getting 2% or whole.
