It's so great to have another drive-through coffee place that isn't Starbucks or Dunkin. The menu had a big variety from coffee to espresso to lemonade to energy drinks. We tried their Christmas drinks which were the Merry Mocha and the Peppermint Mocha. The Merry Mocha was not my favorite, but I recommend the Peppermint Mocha (I just wish it had more ice because the bottom of the drink was hot). I also tried the chocolate chip muffin which was good. There were two cars in front of me, and we waited about 15 minutes. The employees were friendly. I'll definitely be back to try more of their menu.

I love coffee and Aroma Joe's delivered my afternoon coffee fix in a relaxed cozy environment. I had the seasonal pumpkin spice latte which was excellent. The barista was super friendly and sweet, she told me to let her know how I liked the drink which you don't hear all the time. Chill vibes and good coffee, what more could you ask for?

I love stopping by Aroma Joe's to grab a quick breakfast sandwich and tater tots when I'm in the area. Although I don't drink coffee, my hubby and my daughter says the coffee is great also. Staff is always nice and friendly when you approach their drive-through window which makes you want to come back again and again. Today was customer appreciation day, and I was very surprised when the girl at the window handed me a rose with a little sticky note on it. A very nice sweet gesture again that they show to their customers which gives you a warm feeling and makes you want to continue supporting this business.

It was my first time at Aroma Joe's and I had a great experience! The service was wonderful--the cashier was super nice and even helped me pick out a drink. I ended up ordering the Iced S'mores Latte, which was really good. I also grabbed some hashbrowns (forgot to snap a picture!)--they were okay, but I wished there was some syrup to dip them in. What I really loved was the drive-thru! Finally, a coffee drive-thru option besides Starbucks or Cali Coffee. As a mom of twin babies, it's such a lifesaver not having to get out of the car just to grab a cup of coffee. Definitely recommend giving them a try! The ambiance of the exterior and a peak of the interior was nice and convenient for sure!

Coffee was okay, and so was the food. Very Friendly and patient staff and okay prices.

A review? Why certainly. Reviewing Aroma Joes is like reviewing blowing out the candles on your birthday cake as a kid. You're excited for it; you know something good is about to happen to you but you have no idea just how great. Think about the happiest thing you've ever experienced. That will be overshadowed by the sheer abundance of excellence this place brings with its orders. There may be a correlation between my affinity for this place and the fact I love the smooth transition from barely awake to functioning member of society Aroma Joe's affords me. My go-to is a cinnamon muffin and a cortadito. truth be told, any type of muffin from this place is amazing. I'm also partial to their cheese stuffed pretzel after a good workout. If you need to sit inside and spend time studying , or mashing the keyboard on your laptop, or even a meeting of sorts this location has multiple options both indoors and outside. The service is above and beyond whether you place your order indoors or want to drive through for an on-the-go order. Hindsight being 20/20, maybe the delicious food and flavorful coffees are the friends we made along the way.

Can't say enough good things about Aroma Joe's. The coffee is delicious. The sandwiches are hot and tasty. The staff are always friendly and have great suggestions. If you don't like coffee, their AJ Rush energy drinks are a great alternative. You can customize your coffee and AJ Rushes to your liking. They have more unique syrup and flavor combos than your average chain coffee shop. Please give this place a try the next time you're in the West Pompano area. It's a great spot! The line can get a little long in the AM but it's worth being a little late to the office. ;) P.S. My favorite drink at the moment is a Pumpkin Cold Brew (black) with a Cloud Foam Top. No sugar or milk necessary!

Nice place with about 8 tables inside and a few tables outside. Cool decor with ceiling fans spinning. The service was super friendly and their house blend tastes really good. Prices are very reasonable. Lots of parking inside the plaza.

We love this coffee shop! It's convenient and quick, the service is always on point and so friendly! Stop by this local coffee shop for flavors galore in your coffee or signature energy RUSH drink. They have breakfast bites and baked goods and their new cloud foam on their drinks is so good! We love coming here and recommend you to check them out

Out with my friend who's in real estate and was looking for a place with WiFi to do some work. Heard about Aroma Joe's and hadn't visited before. Found out it's a small chain out of New England. My friend had the Caramel Fro-Joe and said it was absolutely delicious. I had the Travel The World Iced Coffee and I drink my coffee black. I had a great flavor, strong but not burnt. No acidic aftertaste, in fact, I really enjoyed it! The chocolate muffin was ok, but not great. I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area. The staff was friendly and other customers were either socializing or working on the FREE WiFi.

Before I ever tasted a single bean, the name stopped me cold. Calusa. A roaster bearing the name of…read morean Indigenous people -- the Calusa, the ancient shell-mound builders, the unconquered lords of South Florida's mangroves and waterways. People who never surrendered. People whose bones are folded into this very soil. As someone who walks through this world carrying Taíno blood and the memory of peoples whose names colonizers tried to erase, that word hit different. It wasn't a gimmick. It wasn't a logo. It was a declaration -- that this land has a story older than any espresso machine, and somebody here understood that. That understanding alone earned my curiosity and my respect before I'd even stepped through the door. "The name carried the weight of a people who never bent. That's the kind of legacy worth building a roastery around." Then I learned the story behind the man behind the roaster -- and it only deepened my respect. Luis Arteaga came home from serving in the United States Marine Corps and did what so many veterans do: he looked for work. No fanfare. No red carpet. Just a man with discipline in his bones and calluses on his hands, trying to find his next mission in a civilian world that doesn't always know what to do with people like that. He found his way to the original owners of Calusa Coffee Roasters. They saw in him what the Corps had always seen -- dependability, grit, and a willingness to learn. They gave him a job. A floor to stand on. And Luis did what Marines do -- he didn't just fill a position, he grew into something greater. Over time, through sweat and dedication and an unmistakable passion for the craft, he rose to become the owner of the very roastery that once took a chance on him. That's not a business story. That's an American story. A veteran's story. And it's exactly the kind of origin that makes a cup of coffee taste like something more than coffee. CALUSA COFFEE ROASTERS IS A SOUTH FLORIDA INSTITUTION Fast forward to today, and Calusa Coffee Roasters isn't just surviving -- it is a staple. Walk into the right cigar bar on a Friday evening and someone at the table will mention the name. Sit down at the right diner counter on a Tuesday morning and a regular will nod toward that familiar bag. In South Florida's rich, layered, cafecito-and-culture coffee landscape, that kind of word-of-mouth is earned over years of consistency, of showing up, of never letting the cup get small. Luis continues to build something that belongs to this community -- rooted in the terroir of a region as complex and layered as its people. The coffee is exceptional. Bold where it should be bold, nuanced where it earns it. The kind of roast that makes you sit down instead of rushing out. That's no accident. That's someone who respects the craft because he was forged in institutions that demand nothing less than your best. "When a Marine finds his mission in a roastery, every bag he puts his name on carries the same standard -- do it right or don't do it at all." Meeting Luis was one of those moments I didn't expect to move me the way it did. We are both moving through the coffee world trying to build something that means something -- something rooted in identity, in service, in the belief that what's in the cup should tell a story worth hearing. And here was a fellow Marine who had walked a road I recognize: uncertain ground, earned footing, and a refusal to quit. And finally, if you are in South Florida and you have not made the pilgrimage to Calusa Coffee Roasters on Commercial Blvd, you are overdue. Go for the coffee -- stay for the story. And if you're lucky enough to meet the man himself, shake his hand. He earned it in more ways than one. To Luis Arteaga and everyone at Calusa: thank you for carrying a name that honors this land. Thank you for honoring the service that shaped you. And thank you for a cup of coffee that carries the weight of all of it without spilling a drop. Semper Fi, brother. Keep roasting.

The cafe is only two months old in the Cypress Creek Station shooping plaza, but heard the chatter on social media and had to drive a slight distance to also be part of the experience. A temporary simplistic Drip Coffee sign is affixed to the exterior of the business. Upon entering, the buzz of this cafe was accurate. The establishment spewed an ultra industrial modern intimate vibe with gray polished stone flooring with an open ceiling exposing the metal rafters and a/c tubing, accented by dark green ferns on the walls and tables. The laughter from five girls at a back table echoed throughout the cafe, which was a good start. The barista was chatty and all smiles while she took my order quickly with no hiccups. The Guatemalan dark roast espresso beans are sourced from PumpHouse Coffee in WPB. It was presented in a mini cup with the Drip Coffee logo imprint - this is such a simple inexpensive marketing tool that most cafes do not take advantage of. This is another cafe with a cashless tranaction process. Understandably, tipping is digital, but at the least there should be a tip jar as an option for cash. Found sanctuary at a table with a semi comfortable low stool. The Guatemalan coffee was strong and cut it with a shot of heavy cream. Usually I consume medium roast coffee, although this mimicked a few strong Austrian blends and was sublime and appreciated. The gender neutral bathroom screamed "WoW Impressive"! Instantly I pondered, the owners took their artistic vision to another level. Spotless, spotless, spotless, more greenery with thin wooden slats covering the ceiling and the low lit led hollow rough rock mirror hovered above the gray square deep sink. Washing my hands were more of a delight than a necessity. "Clean Bathroom = Clean Kitchen". No doubt that I will return to this eatery. Great coffee and a wonderful experience.

The space itself is small, and it's really more of a grab‑and‑go spot than a place to sit and relax. There's no free tap water, so you're required to purchase bottled drinks, which may be a downside for some. The service was somewhat slow, though the staff was attentive once they engaged. However, the overall vibe wasn't very welcoming. A few long‑time customers seemed frustrated and even got up to complain after being ignored for a while, which was noticeable. Yummy pastries. Didn't see any stellar food. Our food was just average. We felt Café Brie on Atlantic had better food, but Chez has great pastries.
