Iced Coffee
Bisan A.

There is something so unique and charming about Expresso Coffee. Maybe it's the fact that it's only drive-thru, or that they roast their beans in a variety of delicious flavors, or that they've been around for years and years. Either way, it is definitely a treat to come here. Service is great and quick. I got an iced Irish cream coffee with oat milk and some sugar. I don't typically trust baristas and coffeemakers to put sugar in my own cup, but the folks at Expresso put just the right amount. The Irish cream coffee was a perfect balance, not too sweet, but still had flavor with each sip. If you're a coffee fan, you gotta try Expresso Coffee.

Such a great spot! The smoothies, coffee, and food are all amazing everything tastes fresh and made with care. What really sets this place apart though is the owner, who is incredibly kind and welcoming and makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. You can truly feel the love put into this place. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend stopping by!

There were 3-4 cars ahead of me. It surprises me a little that drive thru coffee is a thing. Not the most eco friendly thing as no one orders online, and the wait was substantial with cars running their engines the whole time. Alas, I'm sure there is a counter argument for convenience. I ordered a cafe con leche, but it just wasn't the same as a real Cuban one, and also a bagel with crème cheese on an everything bagel (I guess I should have said light on the shmear bc they loaded it up). They made the coffee but forgot to give me my bagel, and I drove away like an idioto but didn't leave the parking lot before I remembered something was off lol. The lady said to park on the other side of the shop to wait for my bagel, only to tell me a few minutes later to "leave" bc I shouldn't just be waiting there (I got a work thing that interrupted me from leaving right away which I had to handle). Not the friendliest place and a little forgetful in my opinion. I don't think I'll be be back.

Always check your food might find a worm/maggot in it. Got a full refund but lost my appetite and break time.

My absolute favorite coffee spot in all of South Florida! No frills, no over-the-top sugary drinks, no cookie-cutter branding, and definitely no corporate nonsense--just great coffee and people. As a local, I love how close it is, and the drive-thru is super fast. Everyone in the area seems to be a regular, which says it all. Whenever friends or family visit, they get hooked--I've even started gifting their beans during the holidays. My personal favorite is their signature "Morning Express," though I'll sometimes switch it up with a flavored option depending on my mood (they have plenty to choose from). It's an amazing spot and definitely worth a visit!

I had a good expresso here on another occassion but did not have the pics so im posting it now. Drive thru expresso shop with easy access off Andrews Ave. Simple quick limited food items like bagel with creme cheese and a shot of expresso as a perfect combo...Open until 6pm. Staff is friendly and not busy in late afternoon, possibly packed in early mornings with people on their way to work. The vibe was an old school key west coffee shop. Good place 3.7 stars...

Expresso Coffee in Ft Lauderdale. As much as I find the name silly, it's a good express for me to get my caffeine! It's not my first time and not my last time -- always enjoying a brew from here. This morning, please I grabbed myself some Asiago bagel with cream cheese to go with my Dutch Chocolate coffee. I felt content. Edit: I meant the term USED IN GENERAL by others is silly, not the place. What I really meant is that's the only place I'll call Expresso -- and I'll repeat again... speedy service and superb coffee.

The coffee here is nothing extraordinary. I had an expresso and sad to say, tasted like a weak home brew. However, the build your own sandwich was on very yummy bread with good quality turkey meat. Also had an arugula salad with fresh avocado with homemade ginger dressing. Really tasty. I would definitely try a coffee again and give them another go. Just know where to sit outside heads up. I think if they had a few picnic tables out in the parking lot area, it would be the perfect location... just saying. I'll poop on

Great family run business that's been around for 30 years! They get steady lines of cars going thru through out the day yet efficiently handle each customer's order that there really isn't much of a wait. Coffee is famously fresh, roasted the day before its imported into the coffee shop, a fact that the owner loves to share. Food is fresh, I recommend the chicken salad sandwich. I love the friendliness, the location, and the overall vibe of the shop. I wish them nothing but continued success!

Golden ticket for coffee. Custom daily roasts daily here. Don't be afraid of the line of cars, this is for good reason. The menu and decorations are entertaining while you wait. Genuine kindness from everyone including the other patrons. Next time I'll bring my own coffee cup!

Ask the Community - Expresso Coffee

Does anyone know if Expresso is still in business? I stopped by yesterday and it didn't look like they are. I sure hope I'm wrong!

Hi Abigail. Sorry we missed you 😔. But we took a week off for a little rest and relaxation. We are back in business this week

Can you buy ground coffee?

Yes we have lots to choose from

Is it closed? I stopped by around 8am on Saturday and it was closed. (Yelp got my hopes up telling me it was open.). Looks like a cool place.

Should have been open by 8. Usually open on Saturday at 7 but might have had a hiccup

The entrance to the coffee bar where you place your order is way too small for the amount of traffic flow they have coming in and out. I felt like I was in the way no matter where I went. The employee taking our order was not the nicest and definitely was overwhelmed. This isn't a regular coffee shop where you can place your order to go and still drink your coffee or hang around. We were told If we were not eating or drinking at the coffee bar you will not be able to sit down. Ordered two iced lattes and two empanadas. Coffee was okay but the empanadas were really good!

I work nearby, so I just strolled in during my lunch break for a little midday pick-me-up. The staff is pleasant and helpful. My only suggestion is to perhaps have an allergens list for the individual baked goods. I tried to ask the staff about whether some of the treats contained nuts (in particular, the s'mores bar, and the chocolate chip cookie) as I have a peanut allergy (tree nuts are okay). There was a bit of a language barrier and the staff seemed unsure, and tried to err on the side of caution (which I appreciate). However, knowing that a s'mores bar or a chocolate chip cookie is unlikely to contain actual peanuts, I was a little frustrated because it would have been okay for me personally if it was simply that the baked goods were "processed in a factory that manufactures peanut products". Those trace amounts normally don't affect me. I feel like this was likely the case, but again, I'm glad that they just proceeded with an abundance of caution. I settled for a cheese danish even though I was really after a chocolate craving. Good on the staff for being cautious, disappointing for me that I couldn't cater to my chocolate craving. Oh well. I also ordered a Get Green smoothie, which was refreshing and delicious. The coconut water makes it super hydrating. Whether you're staying at the Del Mar hotel or just work nearby and want a little treat, this spot is a great place to stop in.

It was my first time here, and I was impressed from the moment I walked in. The lighting was dim, the vibe was just right, and I instantly felt like I was among my people. As a vegetarian, it can sometimes be hard to find a healthy cafe where you actually have plenty of options. Even though the place is currently under renovation, it didn't take away from the atmosphere at all. While ordering my beet based juice (I think it was called "Something Stiletto"), I noticed a cozy sofa that felt like home, so I grabbed a seat while my partner placed the order. My drink was a fresh pressed blend of kale, beets, cucumber, carrot, banana, apple, and lemon!! All vegan and it was absolutely delicious and filling. The price was reasonable too, which made it even better. My partner ordered tea, and we noticed they offer a wide variety of food options, from a hot station to pre made sandwiches. One thing I didn't like, though, was seeing a staff member return food (like broccoli and macaroni and cheese) back into the serving area after it appeared to have been part of someone else's order. That didn't sit right with me. As a vegetarian, cross contamination is already something I'm mindful of and beyond that, it raises concerns about food safety and allergies. Because of that, I'll likely avoid that section in the future. That aside, we ended up staying longer than expected because the space was so comfortable. People were working on laptops, having lunch, and just doing their own thing. It had a really relaxed, welcoming energy. The place was clean and organized, and while the staff seemed busy (so I didn't really experience much direct service), it wasn't an issue. Overall, I'll definitely be back.
