My family and I had breakfast here on Saturday 5/18/19 We ate on the patio and Bree waited on us. She was checking on us and kept my sweet tea filled. We ordered a turkey egg white omlette, tacos, and waffle with a side of eggs. The visit was nice with and covered patio and a relaxing atmospere we will be going back. read more

Not sure what the hype is about but the food at this place is sub par...Had the BLT Benedict and the Hollandaise sauce was terrible. The sauce tasted like it was packaged. French toast tasted ok but was probably cooked on a griddle that was dirty because it had fragments of other food. The cheesy grits were gritty and flavorless. This place is nice it's like a cute big café, the food is delicious healthy and fast. Only issue I've had is with one server that always seems to have an attitude when I come in. On the second visit I was here she put her arm in my food to hand my boyfriend his food and I was disappointed on how she just did that and acted like it was nothing. This place is one of kind! I'm eating "healthy" well trying to anyways... I had the avocado toast with two Sunnyside eggs. The avocado was creamy, fresh and seasoned with the extra virgin olive oil perfectly, so simple but so Tasty! The hubby had the salmon Benedict he didn't speak AT ALL that's a great sign. My nephew had the toast with fruit made with chalalah bread, cinnamon, a bit of nutmeg?, spongy, light yet very filling. He also ordered the pumpkin pancakes that came with a sausage patty and an egg all fresh very well seasoned and flavorful. Service was GREAT! our waitress brought us a sample of some of their freshly squeezed juices, whoah they were actually good...so we bought some to-go. Their menu is extensive with options to satisfy starving teenagers, food conscious eaters, varying from delish sweet concoctions that take you back to your childhood to savory satisfying parties in your mouth. It was as delicious as it imagined it to be. I had the avocado toast. Simple and delightful. My 11yr old daughter had the floridian french toast and she absolutely loved it! My boyfriend and I love First Watch. It's always kind of crowded so when we come here we try to get up pretty early. The inside atmosphere is decorated so CUTE - like a chic farmhouse with an industrial iron and wood feel, so don't let the outside strip center feel fool you. The food menu is awesome if you enjoy a healthier type of menu, but such great taste at the same time. My boyfriend enjoys the chorizo and chicken tacos. I like the omelet and toast with a side of bacon. I have a client who really loves the juices and says they're so so good. Highly recommend this place for food and the atmosphere. Does not serve alcohol. But usually when we come here it's really early so it's not really a problem. read more

This would have been 5 stars if the service hasn't been slow. There was obviously a shortage of wait staff today, which was the first time we visited this place. We came because we were looking for a new place for breakfast and this place had excellent reviews in Yelp. The food was delicious! I had a smoked salmon frittata with a spring mix salad and my wife had a pumpkin pancake - a seasonal item - that came with a chicken sausage patty and a small amount of scrambled egg. There were a lot of other choices, enough that we are definitely going to come again. Coffee was $2.39, which seems like a steep price, but we were given a lot, which was enough for 2 cups of coffee for each of us. When that pot was empty, we got another o e at no extra charge. So the price for coffee seemed fair after all. read more

Just discovered this place for brunch not sure how long it's been around but very clean and very nice staff. Food was excellent. We had breakfast. Menu also had healthy options and fresh juices. We were a party of 5 and provided our cell phone as requested. We were next in line I went and told the girl in the front we were ready. As I am standing there waiting to be seated because we were one called and two we had been already waiting 30 mins another family comes in and is talking to the other hostess and as I'm standing there receive another message saying we were removed from the waiting list so I approached the first host and ask why we were removed and she's confused the other Spanish one rudely interrupts and with an attitude looks at me saying because I didn't check in I said yes I did rudely turns around and walks off guiding the other family to our seats. Comes back and the girl I was originally talking to looking uncomfortable tells her we did check in. I am looking as the place is not full tables are open and this rude woman comes and offers us the community seats being just nasty. If she doesn't like her job go get another one. This was my first time here as we normally go to the one off Louetta and 249 were it is jammed packed and the whole staff is amazing. I didn't think it would be such a bad experience as we are waiting watching people come in and get seated and the place had tables open. Service was absolutely horrible. Our server, Gorge, was terrible. He did not check up on us once and took 20 minutes to take our order after dropping off our drinks (we had to get his attention). I ordered the farmhouse skillet and tried to replace or add chicken since what I used to order was no longer on the menu. Our server said there was no chicken at all and that I could not replace or add anything. I looked at the menu a little longer and saw that there was chicken included with another dish. Gorge came back and I ordered the skillet with chicken... after he said I couldn't... I also ordered sunny side up eggs and the yolk was not runny at all. How do you go wrong on eggs? My Husband and I found First Watch about 1 year ago. We enjoy the fresh juice mixtures, wonderfully crafted omelettes and awesome maple bacon! Josh, our waiter, was very helpful and friendly. As a Nurse, I am very particular about how a person is wearing their mask and the cleanliness of the place is and social distance is being handled. First Watch made us feel very comfortable and Josh wore his mask securely over his nose and mouth. I've tried two different locations, the one in Katy and the one in the Willowbrook area and They're always packed on weekends for the most part. This place was just ok for me. I give the food 3.5 stars because i didn't find it extraordinary in flavor. We ordered some seasonal items and regular menu items: pancakes, heirloom tomato and burrata toast, kids' french toast, and the barbacoa benedict. I liked the idea of the different cheeses they used or the barbacoa topped with your traditional breakfast items but they were a bit disappointing and I would never order those items again. Barbacoa was dry and took away from the benedict. Came with a nice little side salad in vinaigrette. The meals were reasonable priced. However, make sure you get all the parts of the meal. The kids french toast we ordered was to include: the item ordered, juice, fruit, and choice of bacon or sausage. We didn't get any fruit with out order. It was a huge piece of brioche toast with minimum flavor and one link sausage. I especially chose this item for the fruit, but in the commotion, completely forgot that it included fruit until after we left. We also tried their special drinks which were good but highly dependent on who makes them. The Kale tonic was smooth and not overwhelming with either kayle nor cucumber. The strawberry splash was too tart for me and the Morning meditation my lunch partner really liked (i'm not able to have orange juice due to its big acidity) Luckily our server was very gracious to allow me a sample before ordering. Overall, I find it In line with Egg and I type places with specialty breakfasts that try to be inventive with fresh or out of the ordinary ingredients... decent flavored food, however, very fresh ingredients and great service. Enjoyed my brunch at First watch. It's new so....big crowd and slow service but not so bad that I would not come back. I had the croque madame and maple bacon. I would not get to bacon again. It's was to sticky. Like eating Laffey taffy. My other complaint was that my food came first and my sister's arrive 5 minutes later. My party size was two, but again maybe due to newness.
