Our waiter was outstanding. The food spectacular and I used the Yelp waitlist service to get my place in line and it worked like a charm. The only odd thing that happened was our food did not come out at once. There were five of us and meals came out one at a time about a 2 minutes apart each. I've eaten here a few times since they've opened. The breakfast is awesome, the lunch is ok. If you come on Sunday there will most definitely be a long wait unless you know the right time to go ;) All the food is great here, the juice blends are fresh, and they leave a pot of coffee on the table, what more could you want? The lunch was meh, I liken it to Panera. It's not bad but it didn't blow my mind. Service has always been good. Some people may be offended when they give you a check before you're done eating, I'm not but I know there are people that don't like that. You pay up front so you can pay whenever you want really. Obviously a local favorite. Place was packed. Best pancakes of the trip. Large milk was a true large. Had biscuits turkey sausage gravy with eggs with side of smoked ham. Eggs were perfect. Biscuits soso gravy too. Ham to thin major disappointment. Coffee good. read more

I will say the food is really good. Lots of options including healthy substitutes. But the service was absolutely horrible. I am just surprised. We came in with hardly anybody at the restaurant and got seated right away. Once we sat down our waitress took our drink orders and left. Let me preface that there were six of us so I understand a little longer wait for things because of the big party. So it took her a little longer to get 6 waters, 3 coffees, and one earl grey tea. Fine...because the restaurant was getting busier. The problem came when we ordered. We put in our order and the waitress left. After sitting for 30 minutes and watching all the other tables (who were sat after us) get their food AND finish, I got up and asked if we were going to get our food anytime soon. The manager said he would look and see then came back to say "it is coming up now". Since we were sitting by the kitchen, we we able to see if that was true and it wasn't. Sitting for another 15 minutes we finally got our food and enjoyed most of it. I was missing a side of toast and preserves, but couldn't ask where it was at because Our waitress didn't even come back when we got our food to see if we needed anything or if everything came out okay. Neither did anyone else. Finally again I had to ask if I could get my side order and got that fairly quick with a sample of jelly (not enough to cover two pieces of toast). I think he cherry on top of it is when I went to pay, they asked how everything was. I was honest saying not so great because we waited a long time and still wasn't checked on. She immediately went to the manager told him what I said in which his reply was "I will give you 50% off". I was thrown off because I am NOT and am NEVER looking for a handout when I get bad service. But I am looking for an apology for bad service which I never received from anyone that we talked to. That is disappointing. I am a big fan of the food and glad we went but I cannot stand a place that doesn't even care. No I do not want your 50% off but an apology for the long wait. Very bad first impression. I went today with family that went with me last time to see how the visits differ. We were seated quickly than the hostess quoted us which was nice and we were greeted by a lovely waitress that took care of us the entire meal. They did not know we were coming, so it was nice to get a much different experience than the last. The food was again wonderful and I cannot wait to go back and try the rest of their brunch menu. Thank you for giving us a second chance. It was definitely worth it. The only thing that didn't do it for the five stars is that there was still a lot of running around (chaos in the kitchen) and a couple of times we had to ask for our waitress just to get a couple of things. My food was excellent (half club & honey pecan salad) but they almost killed my husband. There's nuts in everything, even the bread. Husband told server he was allergic to nuts, then ordered a blt. Asked server to make sure he told kitchen, so they wldnt use the same utensils to make his and mine. Sandwich arrived on bread that had nuts in it! To the store's credit, they immediately made a new sandwich on sourdough, and comped the first one. Breakfast prices were on the high side ($8-10 a plate), but lunch special was affordable (7.99 for 1/2 sand & soup or salad). Breakfast plates at nearby tables looked delicious. Great staff - always friendly and smiling. A couple of them even remembered our seats and what we had ordered on a previous visit, which made us feel so welcome and appreciated as customers. The food is awesome! It's so nice to have such healthy but delicious food options to choose from. It's a real treat to come here and worth the wait when it's crowded. Excellent food. I had the pesto chicken quinoa power bowl. Very tasty. Lots of chicken. Good selection of omelets. I've eaten here a few times & have never been disappointed. Ingredients are fresh & a lot of menu selections are on the healthy side. Today was our first time to visit First Watch. Very frustrated when we first walked in and put our name on wait list. I was unaware of the check in app. So once you check in and download app then you see you have 23 tables ahead of you. So if you don't like checking in and downloading app then don't go on a weekend. With our initial wait of 45 min everyone was starving so we decided to go ahead and eat as each meal arrived about 7 minutes apart. My son was completely finished by the time the last meal came. The idea of manners and waiting until all food arrived flew out the window. The waitress said she didn't want to complain to the cooks,laughed and walked off. Not really sure what she meant. I ordered a cold brew coffee (it was the only iced coffee I could get black since the others are pre-made) and it brought me back to the prune juice days with my grandma. My meal was decent but you can't really mess up scrambled eggs. The seasoned potatoes were bland and so over cooked. As a fan of First Watch, I've got to give this location a thumbs down. As usual the food was good. However, the service was terrible & the utensils were disgustingly filthy. Repeatedly. And by this I mean we asked for clean silverware 3 times. And each time were given more dirty spoons, knives & forks. Admittedly, our visit was during a busy Sunday brunch, but it took our server a good 10 minutes to greet us. And never saw him again after he finally managed to take our order. This was kind of inconvenient as my toast was delivered without any butter, and requests for some were ignored by 2 separate servers. When we went to pay, the cashier asked how our experience was. But when told about the dirty silverware, was indifferent at best. So maybe avoid this location. Other First Watch's seem to have a better grip on things. read more

Excellent service, with sufficient wait staff on board so no one seemed rushed or harried. Fresh ingredients (spring greens, for example) and great breads made the meal. With the high ceilings and no sound baffles, the noise is higher than desired, but that's not a 5 star deal breaker. Would certainly return if I were a local. read more

I really wanted to like this place as the other location is one of our favorites. Short version of today's events: made three orders incorrectly (missing the bacon), waitress asked if she could replace it with sides of bacon, we said yes and then they brought us 3 thimbles of bacon. I'd estimate that they cooked one piece of bacon and spilt it 3 ways. After asking another server to find our waitress for us (for the 3rd time during our meal-no idea where she would go), I explained that the thimbles weren't acceptable replacement and definitely not "sides" of bacon. When she finally came back with the check she said the manager was busy, but was aware and he would discuss it when we paid. All he said was that he would make sure the cooks knew how to make the dishes properly. No apology, not much really other than a mumbled "I'll let them know." 2 stars because the food that was correct was good, but the absent server, incorrect orders, thimbles of bacon and the manager's overall indifference are too much to make me recommend this place or to return. Hopefully, the other location doesn't adopt these practices. read more
