Oh First Watch.... This is my favorite breakfast restaurant in the Nashville area. The service is incredible and the food is oh so delicious! Favorites of mine are the Banana Granola Crunch pancake (yes, I said pancake, as in you only need one. One humongous pancake that tastes like a buttery, caloric heaven. ) , the Avocado toast (rolling hills of avocado on top of the best toast ever) , and the Chickichanga (you guessed it, it's like a chimichanga, but it's for breakfast!). I always get a 5 star experience, and I wouldn't change a thing. Watch out Cracker Barrel, First Watch is the bomb dot com. read more

This place is amazing. I would give it 5 stars but there's always room for improvement. The chickichanga is our favorite. We recently went on vacation to Florida and I was craving the chickichanga we were in a remote area Weeki Wachee. I figured it was worth a shot to look and see if there was one close by. Our favorite breakfast/brunch spot in the Donelson/Hermitage area! They have a huge variety on their menu, ranging from breakfast food to sandwiches and wraps. They always have a long wait on weekends, though, so either go early or get on the waitlist before you leave your house. read more

Just wanted to give a follow up. The regional manager did call me to explain, what the "store" manager did not. They have very stringent rules pertaining to food borne illness. All of the "front line" items where indeed replaced with fresh stock. This would of course prevent anyone else from becoming ill. This conversation in its self would have been greatly appreciated when I call the manager to begin with. Thank you Ken for taking the time to assure me something would be done. read more

This place was so good! Coming from a person who doesn't eat pork. They had THE BEST country biscuits and gravy with TURKEY sausage. The potatoes melt in your mouth and they give you a side of homemade jelly! read more

I am still looking for a good breakfast spot since I recently moved to the area, so I decided to give First Watch a shot. It was a Sunday, and it was packed, but I was seated quickly and got a great spot by the window. I ordered the Tri-Fecta, coffee, and the Morning Meditation. I have eaten at this location several times and it has been perfect each and every time. The food is noticeably fresh, and prepared to order. My picky children love First Watch as well. Employees are all very friendly, and the restaurant is always very clean. The atmosphere is like being at home with family. Great food, horrible service. Was seated fairly quickly, but after waiting ten minutes for a server to show up, another customer offered me coffee and water. Another 10 minutes later a server showed up and seemed upset with me because she hadn't noticed me. She brought me a glass of water and coffee and took my order. Food arrived promptly but I didn't have a fork or a napkin. That took another 5 minutes. Server didn't stay around long enough for me to ask her for more water, and then never came back. I would go for the food but don't expect any type of real service. Worst ever and this is not my only negative service experience here. read more

Listen, I am a simple man who likes a good breakfast. I have even been here before and thought "why not go with my daughter and enjoy a nice breakfast" we first walked in and they said it would be 10 minutes, even though there were several empty tables that were clean. However she did come say if you would like to sit outside she could seat us immediately. It's a beautiful morning, so why not. We sat down and started liking through the menu. And looking.....and looking. After 15 minutes the hostess sat another group outside. I let her know we hadn't been greeted and were leaving. She said she could go get my server.....is that how it's done now? I need to tell the hostess we are leaving and then the server comes. Interesting concept. However by that time I lost my desire to eat here. My suggestion is go here if you like service that is non-existent. Honestly this isn't the first time this has happened to me here but I thought they would have their act together. It appears my wish, when I was 9, to be invisible only happens here. read more

This review is for brunch. The actual food was good. We ordered simple egg combos with some pancakes. The reason I am taking away stars= BEYOND SLOW service. When we got here they told us 15-20 minute wait for a table. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes. Ok, not a problem since places in Nashville area have a wait on weekends. Once we were seated the waiting started again. We waited another 40 minutes just for our food. Thank goodness for the never ending coffee they leave at your table.... the wait would've been unbearable without that. read more

Warning: if you're looking for a mimosa or greyhound for a proper brunch, this isn't the place. However, the cool as a cucumber mint refresher was delightfully un-alcoholic. The waffles were light and fluffy as promised, the blueberry pancakes were fresh and scrumptious, and the bacon was crispy. We would have had a 10-15 minute wait but we chose to sit at the community table, with a great window view of hermitage. read more

Overpriced, terrible service, food ok, soda was flat. Not going back. Kept asking for a napkin, had to get up and get it myself.

I came here for brunch on a Saturday. We used the app and were seated at a reasonable time. Then the awfulness started. We waited almost 20 mins for our order to be taken, then another 40 to receive our over cooked food. We both had eggs Benedict which were basically hard boiled, the bread was rock hard and stale, my drink never came out and we still hadn't seen our waiter since we put in our order (food was brought by runners). I had also told our server when we ordered I would like to put in a to go order when the food came out. I told the runners this as well. Another 45 minute wait. Finally my friend spotted our elusive waiter folding silverware (we had not seen him for about an hour) and went over to ask for our checks and that I needed to place the to go order. The to go order when brought home was on stale bread as well, over melted/burnt cheese and sloppily prepared. Million dollar bacon is on point though. read more

So I want to start this review by saying I'm not angry. And that I frequent First Watch in Franklin often. So today I decided I would try the Lebanon Rd location as I was in that area. I called and asked if there was a crowd and I was told there was not. So I go and walk in and guess what it was crowded. Okay strike one and I want to say I made this call and was at the restaurant in a span of 7 minutes. I'm seated quickly at a 2 top table which is fine for me and my purse. After I was seated I watched others who were seated after me get serviced. I had not met or seen my waitress who made eye contact with me prior to coming to take my order. When another waitress noticed me she came to my table and told me that I'll get your waitress. Fine. When my waitress comes she takes all of the cups off the table and tells me she'll be back with the order I placed . 10 minutes later I get the drink I order and then after another 10 minutes she comes back with my water. She had a large table of 6 she was servicing. Once my food came I never saw her again until I put my empty places on the outer edge of my table. She did come and ask if my meal was okay (which it wasn't but I'm not talking about the food on this review). I normally tip well I didn't today because the service was piss poor at best. The Franklin location even at its busiest has never shirked on the customer service aspect part. I'm always treated warmly and food is beyond good. I'm not sorry that I will never eat at this location again. I should have taken my business elsewhere for my meal. read more

Service was good and so were the pancakes, waffles, and French toast. I do NOT recommend the bacon. I do recommend that they get a new dishwasher ASAP. My glasses and flatware were not spotless, to my dismay. read more

First Watch is consistently the best chain breakfast option I have found. You can find a few single location local joints that beat it in "Character" but time and time again the food at First Watch is delicious and the service is top notch. read more
